From January 11 to January 20, I flew to the Emirates with my husband and daughter, thanks to the competition won by Biocon. For the first place in the photo contest, I was given a prize: a certificate of UAH 14.000 for a trip and a set of sunscreen cosmetics from Biocon.

In the UAE, we stayed at the Ramada Hotel & Suites Sharjah, 4 *, We had booked an apartment with a kitchen. We decided not to take any excursions, but to rent a car and travel on our own. And it was a very good decision! We independently planned a convenient schedule for us, did not depend on anyone, we could stay longer in an interesting place. In addition, in the Emirates, unlike some other southern countries, the traffic is right-handed, so the driver does not have to get used to and change lanes for left-hand traffic. Also, do not forget that the country is not poor, so the roads are in very good condition and with a lot of lanes) Also, gasoline in Dubai is quite cheap: its cost is about 2 times lower than in Kyiv.

From Sharjah we went to Dubai and set aside one day for Abu Dhabi. Since we are not in the Emirates for the first time, we walked through the places we have already fallen in love with: the Burj Khalifa and the fountain show. By the way, fountains and a laser show can be seen in another place: "Dubai Festival City Mall" in Dubai. Of the new places, we visited the "Global Village" - the largest fair in the UAE, held in Dubai on an area of .1. 6 million square meters. meters. The event is annual. . There is an amusement park, and many restaurants, and many things for shopaholics. The pavilions are made in the style of different countries: Eastern, European, etc.

Our tradition has become a visit to the Dubai Miracle Garden - an amazing park of flowers. They have a new exhibit every year. The park is simply breathtaking. It is better to come there not on weekends and not on Fridays, because there are a lot of people there.

In Abu Dhabi, we visited the Louvre - an art museum, where there are exhibits from the Neolithic period to modern art. Then we stopped at the Emirates Palace, the second most expensive hotel ever built, surpassing even Marina Bay Sands (Singapore) and Burj Al Arab (Dubai, UAE). The cost of building the hotel amounted to about 3 billion US dollars. The hotel rates itself as "more than 5 stars, being a palace, not a hotel". The visit for tourists is free of charge. In the evening we went to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, but if you go there for the first time, it is better during the day. In the light of day, the mosque seems to soar in the air.

On our last day in Dubai, we stopped at the Palm Jumeirah - an artificially created island in the form of a palm tree. Probably one of the most famous islands in the world. By car, you can easily drive there and, if you wish, take a photo against the backdrop of the 5-star Atlantis The Palm hotel.

In general, we liked the trip very much, so we want to thank the organizers of the photo contest - the TurPravda website, the sponsors - the Biocon company and the Hot Line travel agency, in particular its manager Natalia. I wish them success and prosperity, and I wish the members of the forum to participate in competitions and win!
