If not for the sharks in Egypt...
We flew to Sharjah and not to Dubai, which is very good, passport control and retina of the eye, baggage claim took only 15 minutes (in Dubai it is 1.5 hours), we flew Air Arabia airlines, which we also did not regret, we flew by plane A 320, which, in our opinion, is in no way inferior to the Boeing 737, flew for 4.5 hours, the flight was excellent, fast. The ticket price does not include meals and drinks. You have 2 options, or take EVERYTHING with you (including WATER, we took 0.7 in one bottle, they didn’t take it away from us, probably because it was completely closed, i. e. not started). I took a laptop with me, no problems arose. declare as you wish.
At the Sharjah airport, we were met by the host company Royal Park Tourism, women are given 1 rose upon arrival, a trifle but nice. Arabs are friendly and unobtrusive people compared to Egypt (we were 1 time). A pleasant surprise for us was that we were taken to the hotel not by bus (like Russians, as we later learned) but by a brand new, chic TOYOTA PREVIA (maybe I'm wrong in the name). (Although this is a regular Royal park tourism company), we did not pay extra for such a luxury, we must have been lucky with the car !! ! By the way, in the UAE there are only luxury cars (TOYOTAS, NISSANS, LEXUS, BMW, sports cars). As we later found out, the UAE is a duty-free country, and everything is cheaper here, including cars! That's why they drive these cars. We drove for 40 minutes at a speed of 100-120 km per hour. The road is perfect + smart car, so 40 minutes have flown by! ! And now, at the entrance, a porter meets us and takes our luggage. We settled in our "chalet" in building D, number 242, a one-story house. Free safe, kettle, sai, coffee, cream, sugar! The room is good, everything is there, safe (free of charge), mini bar (for a fee), 2 beds, plasma, shower, bidet, hairdryer, toiletries. There is a glass door that serves as an exit to your own terrace overlooking the sea, 1 minute walk to the sea, which is good! This glass door served as an additional entrance to the room.
When we walked around the territory in the morning, we saw a lot, because the territory is large. We found the rooms of the BOAR, there is nothing terrible there, just straw houses stand in a row, the conditions are worse, but you can live, there is some kind of joke in this. The territory is well-groomed, beautiful, few people, which is good. They only took breakfast. It is a standard buffet, everything is there. Time from 7.00 to 10.30. You can take food out! The staff is friendly, attentive, they do not know Russian, mostly Arabs, Filipinos. And here is the Persian Gulf! It is something! ! Water is warmer than air. Very salty water but very warm, do not want to go out! Mostly shallow, you need to go further to be deeper. In the morning we watched the ebb, on the shore there are many beautiful shells, starfish. After lunch there is a tide. Have a poultry house! A jet ski costs 170 dirhams - half an hour. In the evening there is something to do! The territory is quiet, but there is a night club, and there is a DUTTY FREE, CHEAP alcohol, cigarette store nearby! Prices are cheaper than in any duty free. For example, a bottle of French wine - 25 dirhams, a can of beer - 3 dirhams. Do not take anything in duty free, everything is much cheaper to buy there! In the evening we went to the nearest mall - Alhamra, there by taxi by agreement - 15 dirhams, and according to the counter 12 !! ! All taxi drivers have a meter. Pay according to the meter, do not agree in advance! Back - 8 dirhams! Yes, do not be surprised, there is less to go back, because. we go there for a bit! Drive 5 minutes! THERE……. ALL Food, clothes, shoes…. . everything! We dined there on the 2nd floor, do not eat on the 1st - more expensive! For 2 somewhere 10 different restaurants with different cuisines (Indian, Chinese, Italian, Japanese,....) We ate in Chinese (Chinese Connection) which we did not regret, dinner cost 60 dirhams for 2, we ate it !! ! Portions are HUGE!! ! In the same mall there is an excellent supermarket "Spines". In the room for free 1 time per day give a bottle of water 0.5.
There is NO FREE TRANSFER in Dubai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! Only in Ras Al Khaimah! A paid bus to Dubai runs 2 times a week, costs 100 dirhams per person, you need to sign up at the reception.
There is a guide at the hotel - the name is IRINA!! ! We didn't like her, incompetent and UNFRIENDLY! ! Prices for excursions are more expensive, take them at the counter to the left of the reception!! ! Great prices and nice people! To Dubai (from 13.30 to 20.00) - 70 dirhams, to the Indian Ocean (from 9.30 to 17.00) - 80 dirhams! All rooms except Cabana are conveniently located with sea or pool views. On the territory of an expensive souvenir shop, buy everything in Ras Al Khaimah or in Dubai! There is Internet, Wi-Fi for money - 15 dirhams - 1 hour. In the Alharmra mall, in the coffee shop it is free! Many Arabs, Russians, Germans. . .
The next day was dedicated to the Monar piers and again to the Alharmra pier. The first one has an excellent Karafur supermarket. There is EVERYTHING (clothes, equipment, products) at low prices! He is big and handsome. In Alharmra, the same thing, but it is smaller, respectively, there are also fewer shops, but there are more cafes with great prices in Alharmra! We got to Monar by a free bus from the hotel. He goes 2 times a week. You need to register at the reception. The route is called Ras Al Khaimah. Monar Mall.
The next day we went on a trip to Dubai. They took it from the guy at the counter to the left of the reception (name is Fadi), the cost is $ 70, (the same tour costs $ 100 from the guide Irina), which they did NOT regret, he turned out to be a very good guide. But before the tour, we decided to take a taxi to Dubai ourselves, paid 150 dirhams. We drove 50 minutes. We started our acquaintance with the Deira Souq market. It is very large, bought only at low prices (key chains, magnets and other small souvenirs 5-10 dirhams). There are famous mini markets for gold, spices and fake watches, things, bags... But Deira is a shopping area, there is nothing to see here except markets. You can take a dhow boat ride to Bur Dubai. The tour lasted from 15 to 20 hours, it's certainly SOMETHING, Dubai is really a very beautiful, young city with awesome architecture and impressive views. We saw all the sights of this city, and Fadi is very good at explaining and answering all your questions. I really liked the so-called "palm island" in the Jumeirah region, where celebrities (Jolie and Pitt Beckham, Pugacheva, Alsu, etc. ) have private villas. But the end was the spectacle of dancing fountains, it is of course VERY, VERY beautiful, some people even shed tears. In general, you need to see Dubai, you can’t even tell it in pictures, so don’t spare the money IT IS WORTH IT!! ! But the prices in Dubai Mall FOR EVERYTHING are much higher than in RAK (Ras Al Khaimah), maybe of course the quality is better, we didn’t look closely, so it’s better not to buy souvenirs here. This is quite enough for a reasonable price in Deira! (second district in Dubai).
Today we went on an excursion with Fadi to the Indian Ocean (to Fujairah). This is beyond words, first we stopped in the desert to take pictures with camels! They are sacred animals here, you can’t touch them at all, so they walk around empty on their own. They are so funny, as soon as we approached them they started kissing)) and touching our hair)) Then we stopped at the oldest mosque (it is already 700 years old). We looked, took pictures, there are now almost only ruins and a small room where they pray. But when you climb to the very top, you have a beautiful view of the ocean. Then we went to the Friday market where you can buy cheap fruits, carpets, souvenirs. And so we arrived at the Royal Beach Hotel, changed clothes, had lunch (included in the price) and went to swim in the ocean. For almost 2 hours I chased GIANT turtles with a mask and snorkel, we swam with them for races. IT'S SO COOL! A lot of fish, corals, living creatures, and the ocean itself is just a fairy tale! The Persian Gulf is also beautiful and the ocean is cooler!...
Eh, all good things come to an end and here we are at the Sharjah airport, getting on the plane. Rest is simply unforgettable, do not hesitate to go to the UAE! ! This is a colossal holiday for a modest price! Next time we will go to either Dubai or Fujairah! You need to choose what kind of vacation you like: city or beach. Thanks to everyone who read this review, I hope it will be useful to you. If you have any questions write or call! I will be glad to answer all your questions! Mail: bodasya@inbox. ru.
