Excursions in the UAE
Being in the beautiful city of Dubai and thinking about which excursions to order from whom, I read reviews about agencies. There are 2 main companies here: Arabian Knights and Aladdin. Everyone argues where is better, now I can share my impressions: it will come in handy for someone. At the entrance to the Al Mamzar beach, a representative of the Arabian Knights caught us and gave us a brochure with excursions. Just then I went on the Internet to read what they write about this office. They wrote everything, but we decided to order a Safari to start and see if we like it or not. Liked. From the hotel the truth was taken earlier than promised for half an hour. Picked up by a local guide named Zisham. A cool guy, very interesting in itself, positive, a real "Lord of the Desert"))) in general, my friend and I "fell in love" with him and then we remembered him for the whole vacation. He gave us a ride cooler than other tourists, because we were driving behind everyone and saw that all the cars were driving one after another along the path, and our hot guy kept driving to different dunes on the steeper, in general, he tried to amuse us and scare us. The only negative for someone: he does not speak Russian, they communicated in English. However, in this regard, I do not understand and do not support the dissatisfaction of compatriots. I think if you have already arrived in a foreign country, then be ready to communicate in an international language, at least, like all civilized people. Therefore, for us, communication in another language is a pleasure that you cannot get at home. After the safari, we decided to book an excursion to Abu Dhabi. The tour guide - Lyuba, also liked it very much. All the way back and forth she told with humor and jokes about the history of the country and Abu Dhabi in particular. The main thing for which it is worth going there is, of course, the mosque. Because all other stops (except dinner, perhaps))) did not arouse much interest: the embankment, the museum that recreates the Bedouin village, the shopping gallery (where without it). Then we took everything in the same place to Arabian Night Wild Wadi Water Park. everyone was thinking about how best to go - either to go on their own, or with an agency. As a result, we decided with the agency - we did not regret it. You don’t overpay money, but a ready-made transfer, no need to look for a taxi. A certain Gena from Odessa brought and took us away, so that his Odessa jokes entertained us all the way. He took us from the water park at 16h - that was enough for us. If you are sure that you want to ride "to the tall", then it makes sense to go by yourself. and the last excursion we took on the last day was Al Ain, also in Arabian Knights. She is the coolest. Each stop was interesting, there was nothing for nothing, only to take somewhere. It was on this excursion that I personally felt the taste of the country: not Dubai with skyscrapers, but the one with which it all began. The atmosphere itself is completely different, you can feel the culture is different. The guide Lada interestingly tells about everything, also with jokes (they are all comedians there along the way). First we visited the camel market, then the Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum. By the way, advice: book this tour on Thursday - this is the only day when the Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum is open. They do not write about it in brochures, so that on other days sales do not fall. On this excursion we went to healing springs (you sit in a pool with hot water for 20 minutes and get healthier). then 2 hours in a hotel on a high mountain (again, a sheikh's hotel), with a swimming pool, sauna, mini water park. Here we regretted that it was only 2 hours - it was not enough for us, and we had to look at the clock all the time. And in the afternoon they are brought to the local zoo. There, animals do not walk in cages like ours, but in large fenced enclosures: giraffes, crocodiles, and so on. The best tour ever - highly recommend! the conclusion that I made: it’s better to contact local travel agencies (specifically, we all, except for the survey, took Arabian Knights): it’s cheaper, their guides know much more, many live there for 10-15 years, so it’s more interesting to listen to them (on the survey excursions from the tour operator, the guide Gulya told everything well, but after we went on excursions with Lyuba, Lada, Zisham, her stories completely faded and faded, seemed dry and like from a textbook). This is our personal experience. If you meet one of these guides, tell me that in distant Yekaterinburg, the memories of your vacation became even warmer and brighter thanks to them!
