It was the first time in the UAE. Reason - to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of marriage. The holiday was a success! Hotel "Mercuri Gold" 4 *, located in the city center. This is not a beach, but a city hotel. The beach (paid and free) is delivered by bus back and forth at 9-00.12-00 and 15-00. The bus runs to the minute without delay, always clean, air conditioning works. Meals at the hotel for 3-ku. Variety does not shine: vegetables, baked goods, scrambled eggs. For seven days, not a single natural piece of meat or fish. We took only breakfast, so we had dinner in cafes, of which there are a great many for every taste. From excursions we took a survey, a safari in jeeps. I took tickets to the observation deck of the Tadj Chalif hotel at home on the Internet, at the appointed time the electronic ticket was changed to the entrance without any problems and went up to the 124th floor. The impression is unforgettable, it must be seen and felt, it is impossible to describe. Jeep safari is a worthy excursion. Drive along the dunes at speeds up to 100 km per hour. . . comparable to a roller coaster. Then camel riding and a rather good dinner with performances by artists. On the day of the 20th anniversary, we had a romantic dinner in the restaurant of the steamship "Alexandra". Wonderful dinner, entertainment program, beautiful views of Dubai at night from the sea. Air temperature - goes off scale: 44-46, water 35-36, at the entrance to the sea no freshness is felt. And in the sea - jellyfish. The sting is not so much painful as unpleasant. All stung practitioners return home. City beach. Paid from without paid is no different, only 10 minutes longer to go. The beach is sandy, the water is clean, but the beach is like everywhere else: cigarette butts, bottles, glasses from water, pe bags, but we ourselves are to blame for this, where we sit, we throw it there, and the natives are not too concerned about cleaning up after us. We concluded for ourselves: in August in the UAE you need to go shopping, and on vacation in the winter. Since it is not the season (for the UAE), the prices in stores are minimal. Textiles, shoes, electronics at prices that we simply cannot imagine. Bought shoes, shirts, sweaters. In general, the holiday was a success!
