We rested in Dubai from 3 to 10 March. We chose a specially city-type hotel, which would be close to the metro. In general, the hotel is fully responsible for its price. Total hotel 3 *, but excellent breakfasts, good service. If you are accommodated in a room on the 1st floor, for example, 177. Refuse right away! Right below it they have some kind of club and when you call the reception with the preface "how should I sleep? ", they will answer you: "well, yes, we have a noisy DJ today. " Then we were placed in room 455. Great number. The bathroom cabin always leaks, of course, but this is 3 *, so we do not pay attention and move on. Approximately 7 minutes walk to the subway. Not very far, but if you live in the hotel "Novotel", then much closer. Metro "Sharaf DG". This hotel also has a free shuttle to Jumeirah Beach. Don't even waste your time!
The beach is terrible! Just sand and sea. There are no toilets, showers, sun loungers, umbrellas, etc. We found a stunning beach in the Marina, however, to go there by taxi, we did not find another way called "BARASTI BEACH". Amazing beach with amazing sunbeds! Entrance, sun loungers, umbrellas are free, but there is one BUT no food and drinks are allowed on the beach! You can buy it from them on the beach at the bar. There is one more minus: it works only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday from 11:00 am and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am. And also these days in the evening it works as a beach bar where you can hang out, so truly the best beach in every way. It is worth going to it only once (there are no free sunbeds for an hour before 11) and you will not be able not to come again and again. We traveled with Tez Tour.
If you take a hotel in Dubai, I advise you to go to Miracle Garden on your own (only by taxi) from our hotel it cost 30 AED and plus an entrance hotel another 30 AED. Be careful, this is a flower park and they give you a ticket with two roots, because there are 2 parks (the second one is smaller, but also worth a look). The park is simply amazing! We went to Abu Dhabi, the city is beautiful, but the tour is not interesting (we had a guide Vladimir(((bad luck! ), but the mosque, of course, is worth a visit there! I have never seen such a luxurious mosque. Amazing Mosque! Next we went on a tour of the 5 emirates and the Indian Ocean. They should have called the tour "carpets and rest on the Indian Ocean. " The whole tour we drove along the highway and there were 2 stops: 1. carpets for 1 hour (naturally, 30 minutes before that the guide talked about what chic carpets, what happiness, good luck, etc. they bring); , sunbeds, umbrellas, slippers are provided, there are showers, toilets, keys for lockers are given if desired, towels are given and there is where to change comfortably. In general, everything is equipped as it should. It's just a vacation. Next, a jeep tour in the desert: they drove us in jeeps minutes, 30 - this is perhaps the maximum, then I drove onto the highway and went to the campsite, where we were met with a mug of coffee, in which there was coffee for one sip and they gave us a date, showed where our table was (the table is low, sit on pillows, inconvenient in general). Entertainment in this campsite: a small henna drawing for free, but more for 10 derhams, camel riding (free of charge), quad biking (for a fee), a photo zone where you can change into national costumes (for a sfoy fotik - free of charge, for a professional one - for a fee ), an area where you can smoke a hookah (free of charge, but it’s better to take your interchangeable things for smoking a hookah. There are obviously few of them), a photo with an eagle (for a fee), alcoholic drinks (for a fee), non-alcoholic (water, sprite, cola, mirinda - for free). There were 2 performances: 1. Food is generally a separate issue: at first they announced that they were giving out snacks, everyone immediately rushed and gave out food in turn, as in a canteen for poor people, and most importantly, this food was simply thrown into your plate as a sop. And now the dinner itself was made as a buffet, but again everyone was put in a queue and you pass by all the dishes in turn. .
I advise those who like to leave pleasant photos of their vacation as a keepsake to also go to Dubai Mall, and there you can go to the tunnel, which is like an aquarium, and go to the zoo for 80 Derhams (the cheapest ticket). It was interesting, there were beautiful photos. But if you want to swim with these fish (there are actually sharks there) or take a ride on a glass-bottom raft, then this can also be arranged for an additional fee, of course, you can already see all the prices at the box office.
In the Mall of Emirates you can walk to the ski area and see it with your own eyes. It can be done for free!
I definitely advise you to buy yourself sweets with dates (date). Awesome candies! In the same Mall Of Emirates, go to the Carefour supermarket (if you wrote correctly). You can't confuse him there alone. Come to the section with sweets and dates in chocolate, what you need. The best! We gained as much as 3 kg of these sweets. Mom took assorted from me (in white chocolate, in dark and milk), and I took in white, well, because I love white most of all.
I also advise you to go to the Day To Day store and buy yourself all the souvenirs there. The cheapest prices. You get to the Deira City Center metro station, get off on the opposite side of the shopping center and there is this store. We also went to the Festival shopping center, we wanted to sit there in a cafe near the made brook (a very picturesque place in the pictures), but it turned out that it was closed for reconstruction, so don't waste your time, but those who love Hard Rock Cafe, then it is there and those who love cosmetics from Marc Jacobs, then it is there in the Sephora store (there is no Jacobs brand in other Sephora stores) and there is also a Ferrari brand store. Well, this is for fans. We went to the gold market in Deira. I do not advise. Nothing to do there! Well, maybe for those who want to buy a cheaper phone, but you know, these iPhones do not work for some later in Russia, so be careful! And in this deira there are real "sticks".
