Good afternoon to all site visitors! We returned on March 13 from the Jal Fujairah Resort & SPA. We were the first time in the Emirates. We won't go again. We monitored the reviews for a long time, chose this particular hotel, so many good things were written - obviously, by people who had previously rested no further than Yalta / Sochi.

In general, the rest was like a 4 * in an average Turkish hotel. But, accordingly, much more expensive.

Behind the hotel there is a road and mountains, you could hear regularly passing trucks, incl. at night.

Our room was not bad, standard, quite comfortable, on the last - 3rd floor. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub. For those who like to get fresh towels daily (but can't read English), I inform you that the hotel, like most others around the world, supports an environmental protection program, and changes towels only if you put them in the bathroom or on floor. The furniture is second hand. Cleaned up well. The advantage of the resort is that you get from Kiev winter / early spring to summer, to a moderately warm climate (it was about 24-25 degrees Celsius), the water in the bay is warm, it is comfortable to swim. Plus the hotel - all rooms with sea views.

The food is ordinary, a buffet, breakfasts are classic, no frills, dinner is richer (we took half board, drinks, including water, were not included in dinner, for example - a bottle of water - $ 6, a glass of wine / beer - from $ 8, in the room 1 liter of water per day was set free of charge), there were delicacies in the form of seafood cocktails, on Friday - a pleasant outdoor barbecue (meat, fish, shrimp), sweets in the evenings - aesthetically designed, with chocolate logos of the hotel, there were few vegetables and fruits . The attitude of the staff is friendly (we speak good English, smile and behave decently : ))).

No one looks into the hand and does not require a tip, as in Turkey and Egypt out of the blue. A huge minus of the hotel is the noise during cleaning and catastrophically slamming doors, obviously, the soundproof cords glued around the perimeter of the doors have worn out (and the hotel is not old) . From 6.30 in the morning the movement of tourists and service personnel began. During the day it was impossible to lie quietly in the room for 10-15 minutes, because the roar was unbearable. In general, soundproofing is very poor, as, indeed, in most hotels. At night, the residents of the hotel returning late were also not shy and complemented the sound effects produced by the door, without embarrassment : )) In the evening, the smell of sewerage was actively spreading throughout the hotel, they obviously had problems with cleaning or something like that. "lucky. " I had to close the balcony.

Walk, in principle, nowhere, only the beach or path along the hotel.

Beach - good umbrellas (in terms of protection from the sun), comfortable sunbeds, towels were given out as much as needed, people took 2-3 towels per person. . There are cigarette butts in the sand that were not removed (hello to the tourists who left all this! ).

There is no animation and disco in the hotel, what we actually needed, we wanted peace, but the conditional silence was interrupted several times a week by low frequencies from the nearby Holiday Beach Motel (or near it), once on March 8 (! : ))) - from 6 pm until late at night, several times over the next days - thank you, not for long. Not very comfortable, to put it mildly, and the hotel's slogan Uninterruptable relaxation did not work at all.

The sea, or rather, the Indian Ocean. Masks were not needed, no fish were seen, from the exotic - they jumped up behind the buoys, not far from the coast, stingrays periodically, crabs were found in the stones. Nevertheless, on the day of departure, the legs of the author of these lines were actively captured in the arms of some substance right near the shore (some say, including local beach lifeguards who "saved" me from burns with vinegar, that this is a jellyfish, others - an octopus ), very badly stung (for several hours the blisters from burns did not pass on almost the entire surface of the legs), which was very unpleasant, to put it mildly, and unexpectedly. I didn’t just stumble upon “it”, “it” attacked me itself. Thank God everyone survived! : )

There was nothing to be seen in the water.

Vacationers - a huge number of Russians, 70 percent. No comment...

Lots of families with small children.

We went on a free bus to Dubai, a small bus, with air conditioning, we drove for about 2 hours. In Dubai, everything is very expensive, the owners of conditionally average incomes have nothing to do there - in terms of shopping. There is a bus tour in Dubai, tickets - for 24 and 48 hours, cost - from 70 USD. per person.

In general, the country is quite expensive. At every step, we recalled with nostalgia how wonderfully last spring we had a rest in Egypt, in Taba, at the Hyatt hotel. I wish you all a good holiday!
