We arrived in the morning, but even though according to the rules, check-in is at 14:00, the keys to the room were given to us already at 11:30. It was very nice, because there was a night flight behind us. A pleasant surprise was a 1.5 liter bottle of water in the room and fruits (orange and tangerine). We were not supposed to have breakfast on the day of arrival and we knew about it from the reviews. The room is small, but due to the competent design (two mirrored walls), the space in the room and in the bathroom seemed much wider. The very colorful decoration of the hotel based on Greek mythology, both outside and inside, aroused interest from the first day of stay to the last. Designers have worked on every stone, every lamp, every piece of furniture. . . It's just great! We stayed in building number 2 (called ROMAN II). There were mostly Russian guests in it, we did not come across any noisy neighbors. There is a swimming pool on the roof of this building and from the top there is a wonderful view of the neighboring building with its picturesque territory and swimming pool, the sea and the Paphos Archaeological Park (which is located right outside the hotel walls). The restaurant is located in the neighboring building literally 30 meters away. . Walking along the picturesque street with flowering trees is a pleasure. All services and the swimming pool available in the neighboring building are available to all hotel guests. The swimming pool in the garden of the first building also left a pleasant feeling. Always clean, branches of flowering trees hang over the water, there is a pleasant floral aroma, there were enough sunbeds for everyone. Every evening, tables were set up around the pool and candles were lit on them. Those who wished could dine in the restaurant, but many preferred to sit by the pool and listen to live music. The food also did not cause any complaints. I liked everything, it was very tasty, a good choice and variety of the buffet, both at breakfast and especially at dinner. Every day for dinner, the waiter put a dish of sliced ripe and sweet watermelon on the table. It should be noted that all drinks and dinner for a fee (a glass of wine for example about 3 euros). I liked the wines of local Cypriot production. Then they began to buy the same wines in the supermarket (about 4-5 euros per bottle). They wanted to bring them home, but so that there was no excess baggage, they decided to take them at the airport in duty free, but unfortunately they were not there - there were more expensive varieties of wine. The room has a refrigerator, hairdryer, LCD TV, air conditioning, glasses, a plate, soap, shampoo, shower gel, two towels per person and one towel on the bathroom floor. There is only one outlet and an adapter is required for it. You can take it at the reception, leaving a deposit of 5 euros, which is returned upon departure. Either watch TV, or turn on the hair dryer, or charge your phone, etc. This creates some inconvenience. But we were ready for them, thanks to reviews from the Internet. as well as to the fact that there is no tea set in the room (teapot and mugs). Also, a deposit of 5 euros will need to be left for the remote control from the air conditioner and a beach towel. It is not clear in this case why the remote control from the TV is in the room without any deposit? The safe is free, but it is located at the reception. Used without any problems. Wi-fi in the room is free, the quality is normal. I was even able to show the video to my family. The same network operates in the neighboring building. There is a round table and two plastic chairs on the balcony. It was very convenient in the evening after dinner to sit on the balcony, drink wine and listen to live music, well coming from the territory of the neighboring building, where dinner was still going on. In such conditions, minor shortcomings simply did not settle in my head. When changing towels, they did not report one thing, at the reception they immediately resolved the issue by issuing the missing one, the water in the sink did not drain well, they immediately accepted the application and, while we were swimming in the sea, they cleaned everything, with an early departure for an excursion in the evening we went to the eldest in the restaurant and we were fed breakfast in the morning before the opening of the restaurant. The sea on the Faros beach closest to the hotel seemed to us not at all childish))) Often serious waves, entry into the water either from special bridges or through heaps of algae, which for some reason no one cleans. Subsequently, we visited different beaches of Paphos every day. We went to Coral Bay - 20-25 minutes on a 615 bus for 1.5 euros per person. Wonderful sandy beach. Buses run regularly. There are no problems to get there. Stop next to the hotel. Walked to other beaches. Also found with a gentle sandy entry (near the Aloe and Aleksander hotels). All beaches are municipal (you only need to pay if you take a sunbed or umbrella) with good free clean showers, changing rooms and toilets. The location of the hotel is very good. Everything is within walking distance. Very close to the large shopping center King Avenu, close to the market, food market Frutoria, archaeological and other attractions, all sorts of shops, cafes, bus station, from where you can get to any corner of Paphos and all of Cyprus, there at the bus station of the company QualiDay bought inexpensive excursions with excellent Russian speakers guides and comfortable buses. We even went to the territory occupied by the Turks (37% of the island has been occupied since 1974). In general, Cyprus seemed a wonderful and comfortable place to stay. You can always ask everything, learn and travel, see the sights on your own, buy in stores - everywhere there are people who speak Russian perfectly. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff of the hotel and all the Cypriots for a great vacation and a lot of vivid impressions!
