Upon arrival, we were met by a representative of the Fresh Travel company and a little rain (the weather forecast was not mistaken)). Only we went to Protaras, so we had an individual transfer by car. We got to the hotel in 40 minutes, at the reception we were immediately handed a card from the room and we went to check in. The staff is not Russian speaking. The room, as in the photo of the hotel, is two-room, has a living room and a bedroom. A nice present awaited us in the room - a bottle of wine with the logo of the Janna Maria restaurant. The kitchen is equipped with household appliances and necessary utensils in sufficient quantity. It was very spacious, everything worked in it, the windows faced the side of the neighboring TSOKKOS BEACH 4 * hotel, but since it was still preparing to receive guests, there was no animation there, and when the music was turned on, it became more fun for us. The only thing we missed in the hotel was a gym, indoor pool or jacuzzi. There is a playground, a billiard table and a paid area with slot machines.
Breakfasts were held in the Janna Maria restaurant, a buffet, everything was in abundance, everything was always added on time, and even if late guests appeared by 10.00, they were given the opportunity to eat. From the fruits there were apples (2 types), pears, oranges, grapefruits (2 types), melons, medlar, watermelons, there were also canned fruits, yogurts, cheeses, eggs (3 types), mushrooms, baked tomatoes, vegetables, potatoes, fried bacon, muffins, pancakes, croissants, coffee machine, breakfast cereals, etc. , everything is delicious. The staff is very attentive. Opposite the main entrance to the hotel there is also a separate hotel building in which there are 8 rooms, only Europeans settled there when we were there. On the other side of this building is the GOLDEN STAR supermarket, which has everything you need and at affordable prices.
Wi-Fi is free and works well in the room and around the pool.
The sea in April has not yet warmed up enough, but we swam. The beaches are already ready to receive tourists, they are equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers, but we didn’t need them, we sunbathed on sun loungers by the pool on the grass. We also swam in the pool several times, someone was constantly swimming there. The beach has a shower and toilet, which has a changing room.
I was pleased with the promenade along the sea, we walked in the evenings, if you go to the right - you will get to Fig Tree Bay beach, if to the left - to the Church of St. Nicholas. There are many cafes/restaurants along the promenade. Opposite our hotel there is also a cafe and an ice cream kiosk. In general, the hotel is located in a very good location, everything is near - the sea, and the street with shops, close to the Magic Fountain Show on Mon and Thu (23 euros), right next to McDonald's, taverns, restaurants, cafes, a bus where you can ride and to Ayia Napa and to Paralimni.
Previously, we had already rested in Ayia Napa and took the “Heart of Cyprus” sightseeing tour, so this time we went to Northern Cyprus, the guide could only offer an individual one for 300 euros, so we took it from a street agency - 38 euros / person. We visited Famagusta, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Bellapais Abbey, the Pentadaktylos mountain range, a medieval fortress and a picturesque bay in the shape of a horseshoe, the city of Kyrenia, the castle of St. Hilarion, which is located at an altitude of 725 m above sea level, climbed the steep steps - it was interesting and informative.

The hotel is just class. 3 * and the first line, and even right in the city - the perfect combination. Spacious room with mini kitchen. There is a kettle, a refrigerator, a microwave. And the eternal “maaam, I want something tasty” was solved very easily, with the availability of food in stores and the kitchen in the room.

The sea is clean, warm, the beach is good. For a deposit of 10 euros they gave beach towels. The employees are friendly, I did not observe any rudeness. I can’t say anything bad about the food, normal breakfasts (we only booked them) with a typical set of products like everywhere else. For a budget holiday at sea, the Oltchino hotel is suitable.

The hotel is generally without pathos, but a very good three-ruble note. I think that the choice should be just such a chic hotel, or affordable, but so that by the sea with a good beach, a room.

The room is beautiful, everything is decent and clean, and the beach is quite crowded - I’m talking about the minuses right away, but it’s the only one, we didn’t find them there anymore. But when for sane money you have both the beach under your nose and two steps to the city center, this is an ideal option. By the way, there are two swimming pools on the territory of the hotel. There is a lot of food and it is different and tasty, the portions are huge. Buffet breakfast and a la carte dinner, delicious desserts. And by the way, wi-fi is free, which is a big plus for the hotel.

Fig three bay. Nearby are the luxury hotels Sunrise Pearl, Sunrise Beach and Capo Bay. In the evenings the whole family walked along the coast. Sunbathing by the pool, umbrellas and sun loungers by the pool - free of charge, 1 minute and you are already swimming, returned and sunbathing, it makes no sense to even rent umbrellas and sun loungers at the sea. Very comfortable room, all the same it is very convenient that there are 2 rooms, and there is an interior door. Service is very good, food was good. There are no complaints or problems in the hotel. Special thanks to the host company, service at the highest level. Protaras will forever remain in my heart, if you return to Cyprus, then only here.

New furniture, the kitchen has everything you need, everything works - beauty, a dining table for 4 people. Two pools, there is a children's area, although why are they when the sea is right there. There is a tennis court and playground on site. In terms of nutrition - we took breakfast, in general, it’s normal, fresh products, there is a choice, a standard set of eggs, sausages, bread, cereal, milk. Cleaning is daily, towels are changed every other day, linen is changed once. The hotel is in the city center, so everything is nearby: bars, restaurants, shops, Lidl 15 minutes walk, there is a disco. The hotel seems to me suitable for everyone: it is convenient that the rooms are with a kitchen, that the beach is nearby and there is where to go. I advise.
