I'll start with the cons: 1. Quite far from the center. Take the tram to Wenceslas Square for half an hour, and another 7 minutes to go to the stop. Quite far from the center. Take the tram to Wenceslas Square for half an hour, and another 7 minutes to go to the stop. In addition, it should be noted that the hotel is located on a small hillock, it is normal to walk from it, but it is difficult to get to it, especially after a busy day. 2. I really didn't like the work of the maid. Haven't changed sheets in 2 weeks! I did not go to the administrator and scandalize. Towels were changed irregularly (once there was a gap of 6 days). Soap was provided once upon arrival (a tiny piece in the package), shampoo was not included. In addition, for the entire time (2 weeks) the floor - carpet - has never been vacuumed. (There was a piece of walnut between the beds to check). Well, it was felt when you walk barefoot around the room. Also the shower tray was not washed. Once in the bathroom there was a strong smell of bleach, but the bar of soap that I dropped in the morning was still on the tray. So bleach, most likely, was simply spilled for the appearance of cleaning. The only thing: regularly, every day, the garbage was taken out. 3. The most unpleasant thing: an envelope with paper was missing from the room, according to which I was going to receive a tax refund after buying it in a duty free store. The amount is not large - about 400 crowns, but it's a shame. Again, I think about the maid (she is alone in the hotel). The envelope was put away in the nightstand drawer. But this, of course, is unprovable, I did not catch anyone by the hand. I did not leave money and documents in the room, but I left the envelope - and here it is. : (4. Very monotonous breakfasts. A couple of types of sausage, cheese, occasionally boiled eggs or salad (one kind), the simplest cereal (one kind), coffee and tea - so-so. Once there was chicken, and a couple of times - delicious warm sausage. For dessert - jam and pastries (one kind, not very tasty). However, the set is typical for 3 stars. It is a pity that there was never an omelette or fried eggs. 5. The restaurant was open until 11 pm and the local Czechs who drank there beer, sometimes quite loud, but it only hurts if you need to go to bed early

Four of our friends, after our stories, also could not resist and went with us. I can not say that we were disappointed with the trip, but, to be honest, "the sediment remained. " We booked a hotel in the Golden Prague travel agency, there are no complaints about them. About the hotel. Almost completely changed the staff, who did not understand anything at all about what they were asked. We are not among the tourists who demand that everyone speak Russian to us, we have no problem speaking English, but we were not understood in this language either. This is of course very annoying. To begin with, we ordered 1 twin (with two beds) and 2 doubles (with one large), but for some reason they deigned to put us in 2 twins and 1 double. They didn't quarrel. I did not want to spoil the mood at the beginning of the trip. But what upset me the most was the following. We had a hotel paid for 7 days. Moreover, we were absent (leaving) for 2 days from the bottom, and after we returned back at 11 pm and asked for at least something to eat from the road, we were given a categorical negative answer. I will never believe that the young man on duty that night couldn't make us a couple of breakfast sausage sandwiches. We didn't refuse to pay. He was just too lazy to do it. Or maybe he did not understand what we want from him. And one more nuance that we did not notice last year. When evening came, young people (almost children) began to appear in large numbers in the hotel bar, apparently living somewhere nearby and occupied almost all the tables with their large companies, so that the hotel guests sometimes had nowhere to sit. Otherwise, of course, everything remained the same, the hotel is really comfortable, the rooms were cleaned and towels changed regularly. The cook is great too. But to be honest, if we go to Prague again sometime, we will not stay at Villa Andy again. . It's a shame that the banal change of that wonderful sympathetic last year's staff so spoiled our impression of the hotel (((.

Peace and quiet after a busy day.
The rooms were cleaned every day.
TV with the 1st channel of Russia.
The furniture is modern, not worn out.

Beer is the most delicious from Kruš ovice, no matter where you try it. Dark is great! Even better than the factory itself. How this is achieved - the staff only smiles.
; -)

The tastiest (and huge) KNEE.
Book for two, you won't regret it. Only, it is better from morning to evening, because it is not prepared quickly.
The restaurant is open until 22.00.
Came at 21.45 - had time to order something and eat.

ANDI's signature cutlet is a delicious treat.
Everything is cheap and delicious.
Almost everyone speaks Russian.
The cook (Tomas), a cheerful fat man, however, understands more than he speaks.
But how it cooks!!!

Breakfast - basically no complaints.
Hot - every morning. You can order porridge...

The restaurant is divided into two parts, for smokers and not.

Very good sauna.
150 kroons - an hour, but you can agree on one and a half for the same money. 240 (! ) video cassettes in the rest room in Russian.

There are no difficulties with trips to the Center.
I recommend a large market near m. Andel
Trams 12 and 14 run to it.
Bought a lot there. Cheaper than many other places.
Becherevka is really cheaper than in Karlovy Vary!
And beer, of course, is also cheaper than average prices.
Try Velvet and Black Goat, you won't regret it.
Another tip, do not eat anything in the restaurant "U Peronu" (Nadrazni - 40), which is halfway to the center. Even we can't eat anything so disgusting today...
Although, the interior and the general atmosphere are not bad, interesting.
There is one plus - Kozel beer (dark).
You won't spoil it!

The hotel is on a hill, always slightly windy.
Air - I want to breathe deeply!
In summer, it's definitely not hot.

For those who do not need stormy evening and night feasts and adventures - this hotel is the best choice!
Good luck!

Nearby in 5 minutes there is a water park. My husband and I went at the end of March, throughout the trip there was a heat of 25-30 degrees. The people who lived in hotels in the center were simply dying from the incessant desire to cool off. Few had air conditioning in the room. And Villa Andy has its own patio with sun loungers, where you can perfectly sunbathe while drinking cool beer, after which you can show off with great pleasure on the water slides and swim in the water park pool. As for the cultural program, the hotel does not spoil it by its remoteness. On the contrary, we really enjoyed riding light rails, this area of the "Barrandov film studio" has good views, especially from the tall tram bridge. Of course, one cannot fail to mention Tomosh, a good-natured and diligent cook in the restaurant of this hotel. He cooks, as for friends, he will bring specialties himself, and wish you bon appetit. . . In short, we are satisfied with the hotel and are crazy about Prague architecture. We were also lucky with the guide, his name was Vit. Artistic and historical library in human form. Vit, you are amazing!! ! So, decide for yourself.

Quiet green area, there are shops and a pub nearby, far from the center. The rooms correspond to the category. The staff is excellent. By the way, hello to Peter, Tomasz and Valentina. (I can only compare with Chinese in Beijing, that is, excellent attitude and service, regardless of the tip). The hotel is for those who want to see Prague calmly without running around, naturally there are no entertainments in the hotel itself, it is too small. … More ▾ Quiet green area, there are shops and a pub nearby, far from the center. Eating in Prague is not a problem, but I also had dinner at the Villa a couple of times, quite. It is a pity that there is no dark beer. You can smoke in the restaurant, which is also a plus for me.
We liked it there

The breakfast was good - 2 kinds of salads, cheese, sausage, muesli, yoghurts, desserts, muffins, 2 kinds of juices, coffee, fruit tea. The Russians asked for porridge, they cooked oatmeal, really very tasty. Special thanks to the chef, I still remember the taste of trout with ham sauce, mushrooms and "smichkovy" greaves. My husband and son liked the fried cheese that I brought home from the hotel, they packed it for me, they told me how to reheat it later, so that it would be “in the mind”. And what kind of "dry ration" they gave us on the road - we ate until the evening.

Regarding the road to the center: it took about 4 minutes to the tram stop (honestly we tried to walk a little longer, we slowed down at each beautiful mansion and a flowering bush or tree - it didn’t work out).
The high-speed tram goes along a special road - it is higher than the main route, and since Barandow stands on a mountain, amazing views open from the mountain on the way to the center - a kind of daily excursion. Although we arrived for 5 days, we bought a 7-day ticket for 280 crowns and rode as much as we wanted, without thinking how much time had passed since the start of the trip. I also want to say: I will definitely try to come to Prague, and only to this hotel.

The hotel is cozy, small and clean, 15 minutes to the center of Prague. walk to the final tram and 30-40 minutes by tram. (far away) The staff is Oh, K, but the food is disgusting, the reason is not clear because the prices in the Supermarkets of Prague are simply ridiculous, there are greens and vegetables and fruits, at breakfast they offered almost one meat and cheese cut and once they gave an omelet with sausages, Dinner I don’t advise there either, except for the beer, because the quality of the hotel-city is simply incomparable, who didn’t have time in the city, I recommend a cozy cafe at the end of the trams, called Modra Laguna, the cuisine is European, but the dimensions of the dishes, their quality are simply excellent! ! !
