I can tell you how for a 4* it is a very good hotel. If you have the opportunity or desire, then when you check in, take a VIP bracelet. Its cost is $30, but the comfort and pleasure from the rest increases many times! First, it is a certain distance from the noisy animation, its own pool for several rooms, improved sun loungers on the beach and sun loungers near the pool.
The beach at the hotel is private and rocky in some places at the entrance to the sea, so just in case, take corals. Also, if you are not too lazy and go a little to the right to the lighthouse, you will find a wonderful beach with white sand and absolutely no pebbles. By the way, there are much fewer of them on the VIP beach. It practically did not bother us, since the sea is simply magnificent. There is also a diving center, there will be an opportunity, be sure to use it. The sea is clear, beautiful corals and many beautiful fish.
There are always enough sun loungers all over the beach, both in the shade of palm trees and under umbrellas. Passing by the central pool, we also observed free sunbeds at any time.


We lived in the Penthouse Suite. Large guest room, separate bedroom and large terrace, plus your own private jacuzzi.

For the number itself, I can say that it is very good. Most likely after renovation, with new and comfortable furniture, telephone, plasma TV, safe, free mini-bar, coffee maker with everything you need, iron, ironing board, two hair dryers, quiet air conditioning and good sound insulation, checked))). Our private pool was clean and didn't smell of chlorine at all. Bathed in the central, did not complain. Mini-bar, shampoos and conditioners in the bathroom, coffee and tea, towels - everything was brought and replenished daily and on time. Cleaning was no problem. Tips were not always left, but the service was consistent. I really liked the food.
Tasty, varied, various delicacies, fresh juices and high-quality alcohol. In the main restaurant you can eat almost around the clock. I especially remember the rich and hearty breakfasts with several types of cheeses and seafood. But believe me, lunches and dinners were just as good. I liked the Japanese restaurant with a mini show from the chef. Dishes are prepared in front of you, delicious and very impressive. The Mexican served wonderful meat on skewers. You won't have to go hungry, that's for sure. We brought several kilos in barrels))). The bars on the beach make delicious cocktails. Pina Colada and Malibu are simply unique! Of the excursions, we took only one to Zion Island, except for the beaches, there is almost nothing to see, but we do not regret it. Souvenirs are also best taken near the lighthouse. The prices are much lower and you can bargain. In general, we all really liked it very much. We will definitely come back to the Dominican Republic!
