We have been to Hurghada many times, in different hotels.
Our last favorite was Sun Rise Makadi, we traveled with children - everything was on the level.
But, since the price tag has grown there, I needed a decent option in a budget up to 2000 USD. e. As a result, a vacation for 11 full days (early arrival and late departure) and 10 nights for 2 adults and 3 children from 2.5 to 12 years old cost us 1700 USD. e. We are from Ukraine. We are more than satisfied. The son said that if there was free Wi-Fi in Ali Baba, he would not have had a price. Wifi is not free. None and in no way. Or buy a card in Senzo for 200 pounds (300 UAH) for 8 gigs.
I’ll tell you about nutrition: we don’t drink local alcohol, my husband only drinks beer. Usually I take a couple of bottles of martinis at the airport duty free and I'm fine. I buy only juice on the spot (read the labels, it turned out that 100% natural juice in Egypt is far from being the case).

I usually eat vegetables of all kinds and fish. The food in this hotel is similar to all hotels. She's the same everywhere!
Do not bother in general, you can always find something to eat. And the sweet tooth is generally expanse.
I didn’t really like that fruits are given out in portions - these are melons, bananas, oranges. An employee stands, cuts and gives out. Two bananas. You say: come on, give, as if tearing away from the heart. Or a melon: I take a plate to all the children at once - he twists his face for half an hour, as if he is giving me personal melons. Not very nice.
Another point: there is no place to get coffee at lunchtime and in the evening in the restaurant itself. And I love coffee and cake. That is, eat pies, and go out into the hall for coffee. Or vice versa. The coffee is good. The last time we were at the King Tut Hotel - hard economy - there you had to pour coffee with a spoon from a jar yourself. There are coffee machines everywhere. Plus, in the evening they make latte with whipped cream in a glass glass - beautiful and tasty. It's important to me.

Well, as usual in Egypt, they didn’t finish the sausage for food in the morning - they chopped it into a salad for lunch. What they didn’t finish in the main thing - they made pizza.
Well, the norms of practice, as in kindergarten)).

Next to the main restaurant in the hotel lobby there is a second - we ate there, there are fewer people, the choice is slightly different, for a couple of types of food. But everything is also fine.

But in Aladdin's restaurants we could not eat - we were asked to leave. Although I read on the Internet that you can eat everywhere with Ali Baba's bracelet. And here is nothing. Only at home in the hotel and at the bars on the beach.

At the bar by the pool at lunch - pizza - dough with cheese, as elsewhere, some vegetables, from the category, cabbage, their pickles, cucumbers, french fries, hot dogs or burgers. Ice cream is served at 2:00 pm. The ice cream is delicious, of course.

My favorite ice cream in Senzo moll is Coffeshop - an island in the middle of the mall with Wi-Fi - the price for a ball is 20 pounds, but the guys put it from the heart, the children were happy.
The mall is within walking distance - 10/15 minutes with a free step, we went there often - and eat ice cream and buy souvenirs in the supermarket with a card (we usually carry hair oil, masks, teas, we take vegetables, fruits, juices for ourselves - for me for a martini)

The territory of the three hotels is huge, there is where to walk, not to walk too far, in all hotels. There are also playgrounds and enclosures with monkeys. On the territory of three hotels - a huge plus!

We were not often on the beach, but we were. We loved going to the beach with the tents of the Jasmine Hotel. There are always sunbeds. There are fish, of course, not for pro snorkelers - but it’s enough for children to see.

In December there were both windy days and calm ones. Beaches for every taste - and near the bar, and quiet without wind, and crowded and noisy with music, there is even an abandoned blogger for photos - they drank as much as you want in Instagram - there are no people at all. For the beaches - a plus!
For couples with children, advice: take circles, armlets, all sorts of things for swimming and your buckets / spatulas / waders with you. In shops on the beach, a children's bucket with a shovel costs 5/8 euros.
And they are corny in the store (I mean Senzo, we did not go to others). There are playgrounds, with slides, climbing frames - my daughter liked it.

A separate issue is the heated pool. There is no wind around it, like on the beach. Children don't need more. Warm water, music, masks/snorkels - dive in and get warm. Bar nearby. So they sat on the pool all the time - they persuaded them to go to the sea!

The water park is great, the slides are different, dumb and scary. The only caveat - the water is colder than in the pool. The son rode with her husband on all the slides and was happy. There is no pool to swim, there is nowhere to warm up - this is a minus. Basically for dilution of rest - a super option! The hotel has its own towels, the water park has its own. Change at least a hundred times a day. Generally there is no problem.
For example, in other hotels there was a theme - one towel per day. This is sadness. Everything about this is excellent.

I'm not a fan of animation, I danced a couple of times in water aerobics. For children at 20:00 mini disco, there is a children's room (we did not get there). Noisy in the evenings, music plays.

We had a room not far from the main building - well, such entertainment for couples with children . . plus these comrades gave us two rooms on the second floor - we had to carry a stroller. It was not possible to resolve the issue. Who with children - consider this moment.

Hookah in the hotel costs 6 dollars. We love. But they didn't smoke. Bought a hookah and smoked in the balcony. Then they left it there - of course, it is not as tasty as the locals do.

We went to the Marina embankment in the city, there in the Hippo cafe with a fountain there is a chic hookah and good coffee, but we were deceived by 50 pounds in the calculation, plus everything was not calculated at the prices that we agreed on earlier. The husband did not argue - to hell with them.
There is also a children's room, everything is very poor, but the child played there, and we relaxed, and that's good.

Hurghada itself is a rather specific city. We do not like. But I wanted to visit the Marina - we did, the hookah, I repeat, compensated for everything.

To sum up: we all liked the hotel. I definitely recommend. I will look for tours at the most non-flying time with the most attractive price and we will go - there is where to hang out even in their cold season.
