Rested at the hotel Golden 5 Emerald from 14.07. 09 to 24.07. 09.
Let me tell you straight away: I enjoyed my stay! And I’ll even repeat, as many people write here, that the main thing is the mood you come with.
ROOM.
Settled in a room on the second floor overlooking the pool and a giant bed in the whole room. Everything worked there, the room itself was clean and comfortable. No complaints.
CLEANING.
We were cleaned every day. The sheets, however, were not changed often, but in order to remember, you just need to calmly ask the cleaner and they will do everything. No tip on the cleaning of the room was affected, everything is always cleaned the same way. The water in the minibar was replenished every day (1 bottle per person per day), there were no problems with this either, even her teeth were brushed and washed.
BEACH.

With the beach, of course, in my opinion there are problems. The main thing is that in order to take a free sunbed with an umbrella somewhere in the 2nd-3rd row, you need to arrive at the beach at dawn. This happens not so much because of the large number of vacationers, but because of the Arabs who earn extra money by taking heaps of sunbeds just in case, and then selling them to people who come at 12-13 o'clock in the afternoon. As a result, it turns out that a person who came at 7 in the morning will be without an umbrella and in some distant row, unlike those who just woke up after dinner and calmly bought their sunbeds in the first row. I had to get up early…
FOOD.
Let me tell you, we didn't get sick! I don’t think it’s all about a strong stomach, you just probably need to eat in moderation and drink too, then everything will be fine. We usually had breakfast at the Al Mas hotel, because it was closest to the beach. From there, a very beautiful view opens up and + there is deep-fried food (unlike our Emeralda for example) and, accordingly, sometimes there were very tasty donuts. BUT it's very hot there. It's like the air conditioning doesn't work at all. As a result, after drinking hot tea or coffee, we left it as if from a sauna)).
We dined almost always in the main building, in Paradise. There is the most variety. Once we went for dinner at Diamond - there is nothing there. The only plus is watermelons, which were not given in other hotels. In our Emerald, they sometimes dined. Just for a change of scenery, but still there is no variety there. Paradise is still the best, but it is advisable to come at 19 (they are at the very beginning of dinner), otherwise they may simply not let them in later due to the fact that there will be no places. wait.
As for the food itself, everything is like in all other hotels in Egypt. Standard pasta of several seeing, french fries, meat, fish, vegetables, some fruits. For breakfast - eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes, muesli.
Regarding the three restaurants in which you need to specially sign up... I didn’t like it at all. They grill chicken there - and this is the only difference from the restaurants in the hotels themselves. There is basically nothing to eat there.
SAM HOTEL.
Of all the 5 hotels, our Emerald was the one we liked the most. He is the newest and most calm. In all pools on the territory, tiles are chipped, for example, and our pool is brand new and comfortable. Everyone swims there even at night, no one forbids. There are tables near the rest of the pools, people eat and drink nearby - you don’t buy much. And in ours at least all night, Pts liked it!

Again, the hotel itself is very comfortable and quiet. In the same Paradise, for example, I would probably not be able to live at all. Heaps of people and everything is noisy and crowds run around all the floors. In Emerald, meanwhile, peace and quiet.
TOURS.
We went only for 2. Motosafari and a trip to the dolphin bay.
Motosafari was great! We went at dawn (the rest of the time it's terribly hot in the desert, it's better not to). It’s not far from the place itself, about 20-30 minutes. Then we got on the ATVs and drove for about 2 hours, took a break, they gave us tea, treated us to a hookah, those who wanted to ride camels for 5 minutes, talked about the Bedouins, showed the half-dead utensils living there, and then already let's go back. Another hour or so. Be sure to buy headbands before the safari and take sunglasses with you (so that dust does not get into your eyes). Our hotel guide did not warn us about this, in the end we bought everything already when we arrived on a safari 10 (! ) Times more expensive.
I also liked the trip to the dolphin bay. The dolphins themselves were not impressed at all. We sailed on a yacht for 2 hours to the bay with dolphins. As a result, having arrived there, the dolphins themselves were practically not seen. There were 4 of them floating there, and 5 more yachts were circling around them, trying to drive them into a circle.
But then we were given masks, fins and snorkels and we swam around this bay and watched caral and fish. Very nice, with the hotel, of course not to compare! For this reason, it is worth going on such excursions.
All in all, I really enjoyed my vacation! We came home and wanted to come back the next day! The mood throughout the rest was wonderful and we simply did not pay attention to minor troubles. Maybe that's why we were lucky with the room, service and the rest itself; Sorry for the long review - a lot of impressions I wanted to describe everything)))
