When I was at the hotel, I really wanted to write a review. Today we returned from the hotel and write a review "in hot pursuit". The whole family is sitting at the computer and everyone wants to put in their two cents in the review. So this review is a product of collective work : ).
We went to the hotel not in a very good mood, as the reviews on the network about it are mostly bad. Anex tour operator. Never flown with it before. There are no complaints about the tour operator. Everything works like clockwork. We would especially like to mention the hotel guide from Aneks Ibragim. For me, the phrase "Hotel guide" previously sounded like a curse. With whatever company we rested, the guides were always interested only in the sale of excursions, and if you refused excursions, then you did not exist for the guide, you did not have to wait for any help. Ibrahim, at a meeting with newly arrived tourists, spoke in detail about the hotel, and about the merchants, and about the rules of conduct. Recommend something worth seeing. He was always at the hotel from 18:00 to 20:00. Which is very convenient. You can contact him with all questions, including he can provide his laptop for a nominal fee to communicate with the house, which is quite important since there are no payphones in Egypt, and it is quite expensive to talk on a mobile phone. Now about the hotel: upon check-in, I got a room on the first floor of the main building with a view of the wall of the neighboring hotel. At first we were upset, and then we found that it was even better, because. the ground floor rooms overlooking the pool have a huge drawback - constant noise, even late at night, and we were all quiet and calm. Everything worked in the room, there was a kettle and cups, tea bags and sugar, the TV showed 5 Russian-language channels, there were 2 bottles of water in the minibar. Plumbing in good condition, air conditioning worked like clockwork. At our request, they brought a folding bed for the child, the next day they brought 5 juices of 250 grams, 2 liter cola and 5 bottles of water to the minibar. At the reception, we met Ismail (my husband forgot his name and once called Ahmed, so he laughed and said that he was Ahmed : )). we turned to him for all questions and he helped us as best he could, although we do not know what position he holds. He always smiled when he saw us and asked if everything was fine with us. Regarding the reception, I want to note that the staff constantly have to solve the problems of vacationers, and most of the tourists are frankly hostile. I think that this explains the complaints of many that no one is in a hurry to solve their problems. In this case, I recommend asking the "Chief" and turning to him with a request. If your request or claim is justified, they will be satisfied very quickly. This also applies to cleaning and delivery of water and drinks.

Now I want to write about food and service in the restaurant. We never went out to eat when the restaurant opened. We preferred to come 40-50 minutes after opening. Then the most hungry have already eaten, and you can slowly choose what you want, moreover, without queues and crush. It is also not worth coming to the closing of the restaurant, as you may not get something tasty. We always had watermelon for dinner. It ended in about an hour and a half. So draw your own conclusions. Another point - the hotel has a lot of Arabs. They have Ramadan now and are forbidden to eat before sunset. Ibrahim warned at the meeting that it is better to go to dinner a little later to avoid queues. As for the choice of dishes, I do not agree with those tourists who say that there is nothing to eat. Tell me, do you have a choice of beef, chicken, seafood dishes every day at home? Do you have 5-6 dishes for a side dish? Do you always have apples, dates, oranges, melons, gray fruit? And do you add watermelon, peaches, bananas and apricots to them? How many baked goods do you have every day? Therefore, I think that there is nothing to write about what is in the restaurant, to put it mildly, incorrectly. Yes, there are problems. There are always stories about people being poisoned. But excuse me, don't you understand that you are on another continent? Moreover, you are in Africa, in the desert. Your stomach is not ready for this water. Be careful not to eat salads, do not abuse vegetables, do not drink water even from a cooler. You have a kettle in your room, so use it, boil yourself the same water from the cooler and you will be happy. Do not get drunk on local free alcohol, it is better to take proven drinks with you because they can be carried in luggage (not hand luggage). We followed these simple rules and we and our daughter had no stomach problems. By the end of the holiday, we had already eaten everything and enjoyed the abundance of food.
As for the service in the restaurant (I think it's more correct to say "in the dining room"), it is really unobtrusive. But we noticed an interesting fact: if you treat the servants kindly, smile, say hello, say thank you, then they begin to notice you, and they try to serve you better. Here's a fact: the restaurant has a waiter Ahmed. Seeing that we were friendly, he constantly wished us a pleasant appetite, talked with our eight-year-old daughter, and brought appliances himself. Once he saw that his daughter was standing in line for a Coke, silently went and brought a Coke, and then called his daughter from the queue. Several times he brought us wine. My daughter gave him a flower, he was very happy. The rest of the restaurant staff are also quite nice people. So you will not be hungry, and if you behave like a human being, then you will be respected.
Like it or not, but the main pearl of the hotel is the sea. We are not the first time in Egypt, but we have not seen such a beach yet. Here, near the shore there are no corals and stones, but pure sand. We hardly used the special shoes we bought last year when we were on holiday in Montilon. The daughter did not climb out of the water, the husband swam to the corals, saw both an eel and a stingray and a Napoleon fish.
The hotel area is huge. We could not get around it all in 8 days. Lots of palm trees. There are places that are not in order. But we mostly walked at night, as it is very hot during the day. It is worth seeing the singing (or dancing) fountains at 21-00 near the Paradise Hotel, and every evening the program changes. By the way, every evening at 22-30 there is a show on the promenade terrace. The program is designed for 7 days. Therefore, those who have a rest for two weeks see all the rooms 2 times. We recommend to visit "Cobra show" and dance with skirts.

Animation in the hotel is still there! Near the pool and on the beach there is a team of Russian-speaking animators. In the evening at 20-00 children's disco in the billiards bar. I definitely want to thank Tanya, an animator from Moscow. My daughter simply did not want to let her go, she even developed a plan to take Tanya to Ukraine in a suitcase : ). On the plane, my daughter shed a tear - I want to see Tanya. We regret that we did not ask Tanya for her email address.
The hotel has a very good water park with 5 slides. There are quite gentle slides, there are steep ones, choose what you want.
I would like to tell so many things, but unfortunately the review cannot convey all the positive that we received at the hotel! When leaving and hugging with friends and staff, many looked with incomprehension. And we made a conclusion for ourselves many years ago - treat people the way you want to be treated - and you will be happy!
Yes, there were bad moments in the hotel - this is when our drunken tourists yelled along the corridors at two in the morning, or when Arab children staged noisy games in the same corridor late on Friday night.
