ОТЛИЧНЫЙ ОТДЫХ GREAT HOLIDAY

We rested in Emeralda from December 13 to 27.2012. Since I'm already 10 times in Egypt, there is something to compare and I frankly cannot understand people who first choose a hotel because of its cheapness, and then start screaming - this is not 5 stars. So pay 2-2.5 times more and everything will be perfect or read the reviews. We rested with 3 large families, with children and retired parents, so we had to think about the price. And the PRICE-QUALITY ratio is ideal.
My sister and her family bought vouchers to the nearby Diamond Hotel, as they wanted peace and quiet in the bungalow. So everything seemed to be, we were noisier.
I don’t know, maybe we were lucky, but the bed linen was white and new, the room was renovated and had a sea view without bribes, they settled in 15 minutes (arrived at 17.30), cockroaches and ants were not observed, everything worked.

Only a week later, an Arab company of 4 young people appeared, having fun all night in the next room and not responding to English. Well there were free rooms and in the morning we were transferred to another room, also free of charge.
With bath towels in the hotel is really tight, but after a heart-to-heart conversation with the cleaner, we always had 2, in extreme cases brought from the next room. Cleaned every day, vacuumed, washed plumbing. Now there is a floor manager on each floor, hanging out all day along the corridor, on the 2nd day we found that hot water was barely running after 16.00, so we called him, the masters came, blew the pipes and after 40 minutes everything was in okay. And I thought that we would wait a day... The service is excellent everywhere, everyone is friendly and smiling.
But the BEACH TOWELS, ugly-striped, were replaced with new ones! Since December 26. . . now they are also beige, like Diamant's.
What made me even more happy was that smoking was banned in one part of the hall, so you can hang online longer without any problems, although the Internet is weak.
A few words about FOOD - we had breakfast in Diamante, and had lunch and dinner in Almas, there is a bigger restaurant, overlooking the sea and even the Internet is available (and the choice of dishes is the same everywhere). Yes, and from the beach closer, we were 4. No one had any stomach upsets, although they ate a lot of fresh herbs and fruits. The food was very decent: fish, chicken, beef, cutlets, grilled all the time, delicious pastries. Solid 4 stars, no problems with dishes were observed.
And now BEACH and SEA - 5 stars, sandy, 1 km long, you can walk along the coast and breathe healthy sea air, yachts are in a separate bay, so the water is CRYSTAL CLEAR, gently sloping coast, which is very suitable for children, corals are 1m from coast, many fish can be seen even without a mask, without going far from the coast. And my drivers came off in full.

So, CONCLUSION: we had a wonderful rest, swam, sunbathed - THE HOTEL IS MUCH BETTER than the reviews about it. Previous years, we rested constantly in the Albatros hotel chain, so now the water in Dana Beach is cloudy and yellow, it’s good that you tried something new, much cheaper and not much worse.
