We rested with my daughter 7 years old in Mirage Bay from February 10 to 17. We chose this hotel for the presence of a children's water park and location on the first line, which we never regretted.

We flew with JoinUp via Kyiv. The check-in went quickly, we arrived at 9 am, at 10 we were already given the keys to the room in a two-story building near the reception - Andalusia. We did not change the room, as everything suited us, not far from the water park and quiet, although for a small surcharge it was possible to choose a larger room or closer to the restaurant or the sea, but the furniture and everything else in the rooms is the same (not very new).

The territory of the hotel is large, a lot of greenery, flowers, a small shuttle bus runs around the territory, so you can easily get from the sea to the water park. When we rested, 3 adult slides and a children's water park in which the heated pool worked.

The beach near the hotel is a small bay with a gentle entry into the sea, very convenient for children. There are many places for sunbeds, you can always find a place for yourself.
There is a small pier with corals. But we only swam in the sea a couple of times, as the weather was not very good, cloudy and windy. Water aerobics is held on the beach, in the evenings there is a mini disco for children, and then an evening show.

Regarding food, before the trip I read reviews about this hotel, I do not agree with everyone who writes that there is nothing. The food is normal for an Egyptian 4 * hotel. Breakfast was always scrambled eggs, pancakes, salads, fresh vegetables, pastries. For lunch and dinner - beef, chicken, fish, a couple of times there were crabs, salads, fruits, and of course sweets. Between breakfast and lunch at the restaurant on the beach you can eat pizza, french fries, hamburger or hot dog, waffles. I don’t know how you eat at home, but we never went hungry.

Cleaning was every day, towels changed. We left $ 1 each and our Mohammed twisted all sorts of swans for us.
If you go outside the hotel and go a little to the right, opposite the Golden 5 hotel there is a Cleopatra Bazaar, where you can buy all sorts of souvenirs, magnets, oils, papyri, half the price than in the hotel.
We went to Luxor, rode a yacht on Paradise Island, went to the dolphinarium. I liked everything very much, especially Luxor. We had a cheerful guide, he spoke very interestingly about the history of Egypt, the Karnak temple. Even my daughter was delighted, although at first she did not want to go on this excursion because of the boring lectures.

In general, we were satisfied with the rest, it is a pity that it flew by so quickly. I think that we will return to Mirage Bay Resort and Aquapark 4 * again. For their money, a hotel with a children's water park on the first line is very normal.
