Terrible hotel. I do not recommend it. This is a three-star hotel, and even then it is not a hotel, but a post-Soviet sanatorium with a completely absent service. drinks: coffee, cola, sprite, juices - all some kind of terrible mess. About juices it is clear - in Egypt they are often made of unknown material. But counterfeit cola and sprite is something new;

dirty and wet towels, old, shaggy bed linen with dirty stains;

rude employees who beg for money for any service;

a small number of sun loungers;

a poor water park;

pools in which no one swims, because they are almost never cleaned and there are no sun loungers at all.

Now in order.
We arrived at about 3:30 a. m. We specifically took a taxi to get settled in quickly and get some sleep after a very long drive.
The receptionist immediately said, "Go to sleep on the sofas in the lobby, we'll check you in in the morning. " I told him, "Let's agree on an early check-in, I'll pay. " The answer was a categorical "NO, " we'll decide everything in the morning. We went to bed. Around six in the morning, when the mosquitoes had finally drunk all our blood, I took our passports, put money in them, and said, "Stop fooling us—check in. " He took the money. He made copies of our passports. He saw that we had a family room, and returned the money, saying, "There are no rooms available. Wait until 10:30. " I asked them to put on our bracelets so we could go to breakfast. "No, bracelets only after 10:00. " Coffee only with bracelets.
At eight in the morning, another administrator came, and thanks to him, we were temporarily checked into a regular room so that we could wait there until our room was ready. But they still didn't give us bracelets.
We went into this room, and it was a classic nightmare, which is periodically described here: dirty bedding, broken furniture, balcony doors that close like a nail. But we turned a blind eye to it. We changed into bathing suits and went to get bracelets and brunch. To understand: brunch is rolls with "plastic" cheese and sweet rolls. And the drinks that I wrote about above.

We survived this morning nightmare and checked into our room. I gave the porter a dollar, and he gave me a dollar - not enough, I'm carrying three suitcases here, and you give me a dollar. I was stunned by such impudence, but I gave him some more money.

The family room is spacious, with two rooms. Everything is in relatively good condition. But. There are four of us, and only two sets of towels. The refrigerator doesn't work at all (we didn't need it, so we didn't really dwell on it). There is a TV in each room, but only one remote works. There are no hangers in the closets. Water is periodically leaking from under the sink. The air conditioner starts up as if a helicopter is about to take off in the room, but when it reaches normal speed, it works fine.
On the 7th day of our stay, we realized that our bed linen had never been changed (the cleaning fee was left regularly). The child had stained the sheet, and this stain had been with us for 4 days. I told the administrator about it. After the beach, when we returned, everything had been cleaned, the bed had been changed, 4 sets of towels. But the sheet was the same. Dirty, with a stain that was already “native” to us. We had a fight. The sheet was replaced. They brought a clean one in return. Clean, but wet! The cleaner was sent for a dry one, and only then their local boss brought a dry sheet.

Beach. Large, spacious, lots of sun umbrellas. But the sunbeds are minimal. If you come to the beach around 10, everything is already taken. At first, it was unclear how this is possible. After observing for a few days, everything became clear. The beach staff deliberately throws things like shorts, inflatable rings, and pareos on free sunbeds to create the appearance of no free spots, and then for a dollar they "find" and bring you a sunbed. We bought into this a few times, but then we didn't hesitate to take such sunbeds for ourselves.
The pools are dirty. During our stay, the water in them turned frankly green, and sand craters formed on the bottom near the nozzles that supply water.

Beach towels are a separate trash. When we tried to get fresh clean towels, they said no. They give you the towels that someone has just handed in. That is, used towels are not thrown away, but are simply neatly folded and given to the next tourist again. This is the first time I have seen this. When asked when the towels will be clean, the answer is always the same - in 10 minutes. Of course, no one brings new towels after these 10 minutes.

We then took these wet towels and went to the reception with them. We gave them to the administrators with a complaint. They called someone, and after about 15 minutes clean towels appeared. Again, clean does not mean dry. Even if they are washed, they are not ironed. They just bring it in a big wet pile and distribute it.
The food is normal. Absolutely no frills. But you won't go hungry. All drinks are in disposable plastic cups of 150 ml. Beer is poured into 2/3 of a cup and more than two cups are not given at a time. Beer is poured from bottles. If you ask for a whole bottle, it's $3. Many people don't like that drinks are in disposable cups, but I think it's still better than if they poured them into dirty reusable ones. I'm sure they wouldn't wash them.

There is animation, but they live their own lives. The kids' club is only formal - broken swings and a closed children's room. All evening shows are held in a closed amphitheater.

Since our return flight was at three in the morning, we had to agree on a late check-out at 12 midnight. Well, the price for this gradually increased from 60 to 110 dollars… In the end, we bargained for 80 dollars. The last straw was that during the departure, the security guard gave our taxi driver someone else's driver's license. Because of this, we had to change to another car, which eventually brought us to the airport.

The reception area is clean, the air conditioning works, but the sofas need replacing. Behind the reception area is a bar and an area with tables and chairs that are in dire need of renovation.
The Wi-Fi is only available in the reception area. It's safe to say, "It's there, but it's not there. " It's weak and constantly drops out.
Rooms. There are both old and new buildings located between the entrance area (the Aquapark area) and the reception area. We were offered a room in the older "Bluelake" building, just after the reception area. The room was renovated; the furniture had just been painted. The appliances were in working order: air conditioning, a hair dryer, a TV, an electric kettle, soap, shampoo, and shower gel. In this case, you have to be lucky; everything is there and in working order. The only disappointing thing was the noise from the delivery vehicles to the hotel after 11:00 PM. However, this noise is not constant.
Restaurant. It's a stretch to call this establishment a restaurant, as there's constant movement from the serving area to the receiving area. It's pointless to compare it to an anthill; all the traffic is orderly. The food could be improved: meat dishes and fish are fried in oil and overcooked, pasta is undercooked, soups are poor, salads are sufficient, and they skimp on fruit. There are no baby or dietary meals available.
The beach. The beach area is large, with plenty of space. BUT! There's always a pressing issue with sun loungers—there aren't enough, many are broken, mattresses are only 30% of what's needed, and there are only about a dozen beach tables on the entire beach. There's only one beach bar at the beach entrance, despite the large beach area. The snorkeling pier is closed and partially dismantled, leaving only a wading pool. Although the more desperate ones manage to break through to the reef. The pier's closure is due to the poor condition of the reef, which has slowly begun to recover. It may also be closed next year, a requirement from environmentalists, which they strictly adhere to.
Tourists: Germans, Poles, Hungarians, Swedes, Ukrainians, Arabs, Russians. Many Arabs arrive on weekends, starting on Thursdays; this has to be tolerated; they're in their own country.
Staff: These are the people who save the hotel from all the negativity.
Conclusions: Overall, the hotel isn't a four-star hotel, but this is Egypt. I will definitely not return to this hotel a second time.

This is not all the negative on the water park, after descending from the slide into the pool (that fortunately worked), I clung to the water in the water, it is not pleasant in the water, m "as saying. Restaurants, Nuuu is difficult to call this establishment a restaurant - dirty. The flies were constantly coming, the heat in the room is incredible, the air conditioners may have worked, but they were not felt. The waiters are not neat, but their cart, in which they made dirty dishes and dumped the remains of food - it is just a horror, if this "vehicle" stopped near us at the time when we ate, then this everything, the cap, appetite disappeared immediately.
The only thing I can praise this hotel is for food: varied and delicious.

We didn't use the bar on the beach, nor the snacks. But everything is there in sufficient quantity. The beer is tasty, the dry white wine is normal, the rest is a drink that some people like very much, because everything is included. Because of them, sometimes the bar generally ran out of beer, but for us it was always there, even poured into glass glasses. It all depends on attitude and behavior.

However, there is a huge, significant flaw that spoiled the entire impression of the vacation - a terrible, rude, absolutely rude and insolent guide named Ahmet Muhamed. In addition to disrespect for the elderly and people with disabilities, we encountered absolutely repulsive attitudes towards Ukrainians against the background of the Russians' connivance: he was late for the meeting mentioned in the hotel lobby, brazenly announced that he would hold it in another place despite the fact that a woman with a cane was with us, which was physically difficult to move to another room, especially at the fast pace he set for himself due to being late.
He began his story with the phrase "once you understand Russian, you will listen to Russian", and reacted very arrogantly to the remark that not all vacationers would like to listen to this language, rejected the offer to speak international (English) and generally behaved as if the main category those vacationing in the hotel are Russians, and he is not interested in all the others, and he does not need to communicate with them either. When asked to provide information about himself, he refused and hid his badge. Therefore, I ask the owners and employees of the hotel to draw appropriate conclusions and remove from this job a person who scares away the kind stream of Ukrainian tourists with his insolent attitude.

Unfortunately, this happened. And now they are number one on my list of the most disgusting tourists I have ever vacationed with. But first things first.
Arrival and settlement
We arrived at the hotel and checked in around 9:00 in the morning, but we never received the bracelets. Below you will find many reviews with a similar situation. They lie to you that after 10:00 you will be able to have breakfast in the restaurant unhindered. And then they offer to chew yesterday's rolls in a beach cafe. We thought that this was a personal initiative of an employee named Kolos, but now we know that this is the policy of the hotel. Does that mean its owner? O? onok!
Because he deliberately leaves small children without a normal breakfast upon arrival and departure. Apparently, he saves money so that later he can pay off bloggers who will shoot beautiful but false videos for you. We personally observed one of them there during the holidays.
We were only able to check in at 2pm. In the Andalus building. These buildings are located to the right of the exit from the hotel and have a yellow-turquoise color. They also have three-digit numbers like 551. Tourists from number 300 with something rested with us and were completely horrified. On the way to the sea and near the restaurants are the same. Killed in the trash (see photo) with falling apart furniture, dirty linen and insects.
Fortunately for us, my request to another manager to change the room, as not corresponding to the reservation (there should have been a 2 bed, but there were single beds), was heard. And around 17:00 we settled in one of the rooms near the water park for free.
These rooms are located in the white buildings to the left of the hotel exit, have 4-digit numbers and key cards instead of just keys. We liked this room, it had a cosmetic "Egyptian" renovation in brown tones.
Service
The room was meticulously cleaned daily by the keeper for a dollar tip. Swans and other creatures from towels were also present. There was no shortage of bottled water or anything else. That's what the life-giving dollar does to people!
But not always...
Once we had no electricity for a whole day. The same Kolos (again he) swore that this was a breakdown of the entire hotel, but in the evening it turned out that the light was given to everyone in the hotel, except for us. The master came, walked around with a camera for a long time, for some reason filmed a shower cabin and a wardrobe with clothes, as well as a table, but could not help in any way. Called for help. "Help" guessed to reach the shield somewhere on the second floor and got a new name - Prometheus! This is approximately the level of the staff of the hotel.
The question of five minutes stretched out for the whole day. And they lied again!
And in the restaurant, and in the restaurant...
Unsanitary conditions, dirty dishes and mostly not tasty food (I don't understand how it was possible to spoil the shrimp! ). If something edible appears, a huge queue forms behind it, after standing in line you get two pieces and are forced to explain that you are standing for a family of three. Drinks are real swill! In general, it is surprising that no one has yet been hospitalized with E. coli.
Entertainment
There is none of them! Those few animators that live on the territory are often busy with their personal lives, drinking alcohol with tourists, and in the evenings trying to earn their wages, but nothing comes of them. The amphitheater is impossibly dirty, there is an aroma of rotten vegetables and around the clock - mosquitoes! The only time the hotel pleased tourists with all sorts of amusements was when either the owner or one of the tops arrived there. All day long footmen in colorful liveries swarmed around him.
For children
Kids Club is closed. In this room, judging by the appearance, homeless people live, and in the daytime a guy with the look of a hippie plays mafia with teenagers.
Aquapark
The pool begins to be cleaned when you approach it at 10:00. And you see what and how they do.

" No, guys, they are not racists, they are tourists who came to a budget hotel during the holidays! Local Russians call everyone who has darker skin than white. In addition to the Egyptians, several other peoples fall under this category. They can also be distinguished by how women and girls are dressed. In the summer, more than half of them are in the hotel. "Local" (which, in fact, is correct) employees give a clear preference. Better rooms, better service, better food!
They are noisy, or ill-mannered, or simply do not consider it necessary to demonstrate manners, they climb everywhere without a queue, in a crowd, since almost everyone there has several children. This is especially noticeable at lunchtime, when they give "ice cream" and cook french fries. This "dish" is in demand even among the most fastidious children, and therefore getting it is another quest in forty-degree heat. On the one hand - a crowd of "locals" with potatoes, on the other - a crowd of "Russians" (everything is complicated here too) with beer. And in the middle - me with a child who wants "ice cream". Mom dear!????
Of course, we adapted and gave ourselves a cool vacation. There are no unpleasant moments in our photos, only joyful ones. But they don't cost $2.000 a tour.
Do I recommend this hotel? Hardly.
I would like to especially "thank" the manager Kolos for the fact that on the night of departure he deliberately hid two operators from the tourists that the flight was delayed, and forced the children and I to sit at the reception for two hours instead of sleeping in our rooms. Kolos went to sleep. Actually, in order to leave faster, he pulled off his "operation". Nothing special. Ordinary Mirage!??? ?

For such a price, the hotel is good, there is nothing to complain about. But at the usual price, this hotel costs more than UAH 80.000. I don't know if I would fly for such a price.

Now the pros...it's a territory, simply gorgeous, flowers, trees, greenery, the soul rejoices.

In fact, it is possible to do better in this hotel, but it is not necessary for katsaps, this is their environment.
