We rested on September 22-29.2018, 2 adults and a son 9 years old.
First time in Egypt.
We flew from Kyiv Join up, we were warned a day before that the flight was postponed from 3 am to 6:15 am, at 9 am we were in Hurghada. In the hotel, although the check-in is from 14:00, they gave out bracelets and settled at 11 in the morning. Room 638, next to the lobby, second floor, from the balcony overlooking the small pool. There was an option to pay $50 extra for a bungalow, but we decided not to change the Standard room, we spent very little time in it. Water park - 2 locations, in one 2 slides, in the second 7 adults and children's slides, the son was delighted with spending time there. The water park worked from 10 to 17 without a break.
The sea is a lagoon with a sandy entry, they mostly swam there, the sea is clean, the water is clean. By the way, the air temperature at night dropped to 29-30 degrees, during the day it was 34-36 degrees. The beach is large, there were enough sunbeds for everyone even at rush hour. The fish swam behind the pier to see, it is better to go there before lunch, the sea is clearer. Be sure to take masks, fish and corals with you - this is at least 50% of positive emotions in Egypt.
Excursions - the hotel guide offered excursions as if at a discount, but still more expensive than the agencies behind the hotel offered. We took 2 excursions - Cairo to the pyramids and a motorcycle safari at the Africa Travel Agency (exit from the hotel, immediately on the right side). Prices are much cheaper than the guides. For example, the guide offered us pyramids like a promotion of $ 65 instead of $ 95 for 1 adult, we bought for $ 35 for an adult, $ 15 for a child. We liked the tours very much, solid fives.
The flight was delayed from 18:30 to 00:20, we knew about this in advance at the hotel, so we swam until sunset, full lunch and dinner, in general, we were comfortably waiting for departure.
