Review of Lilyland Hotel.

Before choosing a hotel, I carefully read the reviews, not only on this site, but also on others, in order to make an objective choice.
This hotel was recommended to me by the Last minute travel agency.
The words were, "One of the best 4-rock. "

My review will be negative. I would not recommend for any money!

The tour cost 43.000 for two for a week (the day of arrival almost completely flew out due to flight delays and the chaos of Hurghada airport, when 3 flights (Boeing 747) were unloaded on 1 tape. We arrived at the hotel about 3 days, although we flew out at 7 -30 am from Moscow.

I will not comment on the cost of the tour, it was not the main thing when choosing.

This is my first time in Hurghada, before that I had already been in Egypt 6 times:
• Charm ( 4 stars and 2 times 5 stars)
• Dahab ( 3 stars)
• El Gouna (4 stars)

When I went, after reading the reviews I took with me:
• fumitox (not useful)
• pills for poisoning (not useful)
• empty bottle (thanks everyone!

Useful! )
• good mood (Thanks, it came in handy! Otherwise, I probably would have spat and moved to another hotel).
• A bungalow bought in Moscow (thank you, it turned out cheaper and easier! )
• Rum in duty free ( handy! )

I will try to write with facts so that there is no doubt about bias.
Settlement: in Moscow they bought a bungalow, they settled it in it (they had a printout with a picture in their hands in case they were bred into standard buildings). The difference between a standard and a bungalow is 1500 rubles for two in Moscow. When settling at the reception, she immediately pointed her finger at the picture, the Arab smiled, but gave what was needed.

Note: the hotel does not have 500 rooms as it is written, but almost 2500 rooms..........

All standards are in the interval between the entrance gate to the hotel (with a barrier) and the reception, which encloses the main territory). These are 2 elongated territories along the road to the reception. (2-3 storey buildings).
The main area from which electric cars start to drive starts 50 meters from the reception ........bungalows (lined up) start from there.

Living in the standard, it’s not very close to an electric car if you are settled in the farthest rooms ....I may be wrong, but in my opinion, there is not even a bar there, to drink some water. In general, I got the impression that all the standards are, as it were, behind the fence of the hotel itself, very unpleasant .....

The bungalows are all well located. However, they are of 3 types:
• One-room apartments with large bathroom
• Two-room apartments (bedroom with a door + a room with a sofa, a table with 4 chairs and a kitchenette (without stove).
• Two-room suites with 2 bedrooms (as far as I understand there are only 5 of them and they are right by the sea)
If 1 person arrives and paid for a bungalow, they will settle in a one-room apartment, couples can also settle in one and a half ....how lucky.

I liked the bungalow, except for the lack of hot water.

ITS was not in different parts of the hotel, we did not have at all, for 7 days.
The plumbing is broken, the bathroom is terribly dirty, the toilet too.
Washed cold, in the bathroom - in slippers!
Linen on the bed in places dirty and old in coils.
There were 2 air conditioners, but one of them was broken. In the other bungalow, the air conditioner was just dripping onto the floor.

Food. For Russians, Poles, Hungarians, Bulgarians, Ukrainians, English speakers and others ONLY 1 RESTAURANT (MAIN RESTORAN) near the pool.

Here I experienced a culture shock.
1) It (the restaurant) is not designed for such a number of tourists
2) There are simply no places.
3) No air conditioning. It's hot, it smells like kitchen (not tempting)
4) Low ceiling, poor lighting
5) Iron tables (both inside and outside) are completely devoid of tablecloths
6) The tables are not wiped, but simply brushed off the remnants of food on the floor with a cloth
7) They put papers, and devices on them. If someone ate before you at this table, then the dirty dishes are not cleaned very promptly.
Plates of food are on the table next to dirty dishes.
8) There are no devices, that is, if an Arab does not put them on you, personally approaching you, you will sit until you are blue in the face without them.
9) There are not enough plates or cutlery for breakfast, lunch and dinner
10) The dishes are dirty, because they don’t have time to wash them properly
11) All drinks (breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant are served only in plastic cups, which are often not available either). To be honest, I see this for the first time to sit and dine in a restaurant, and at the same time drink wine from a plastic glass.
There were n glasses at dinner, but they were dirty.

I had to arrive 15 minutes before the opening and go in the front rows to take a long line for food.

Food: Generally ok. There is only 1 type of meat to choose from, 2 times it was chicken, fish with bones and meat at the same time. Of the side dishes, undercooked potatoes, pumpkin, sprouts of something in sauce, rice. They gave telapia twice.

No dishes are signed, no soup, no meat, no side dishes.
From a signature dish, which is put bit by bit on a plate - a piece of chicken or meat or pepper. The queue is arranged in such a way that you put a little bit of everything on a plate, since you won’t be standing a second time.
There are always 2 types of soups - this is mashed potatoes (delicious) and something else, I haven’t tried it, it’s not signed.

Sweet…. . I would not say that the buns are always fresh, the cakes are cloyingly sweet. Jelly only 1 kind in the form of a cake and only 1 time they take it out, it’s over, everything……….

Beer from bottles (tasty), wine from paper bags (bitter, gives off alcohol).
Fanta, cola, sprite - from bottles
Hibiscus in a cooler.
Drinking water is also in the cooler, but the bottle is somehow dirty.

Beach bar - queue. 2 glasses in one hand. Often at 3 days there was no more beer, however, as well as water in the cooler.

As for the myths about restaurants! I bought this one myself! Checked 
"Dolce Vita" is closed and apparently already covered with dust.
"Nebtun" only for Germans and Italians.

1 time came there in the evening, more than decently dressed.
We approached the dishes, then an Arab immediately ran up to us and started shouting: “Russia, Russia! ! ! ! "(Like a fire)
He took us to the main one, he pointed to the door, saying that you are eating at another restaurant. I politely asked in English, why, and if I could eat in this restaurant for a fee (it should be noted that I conducted the entire conversation in English). To which he replied with a resounding "no". Again I asked what was the reason. They explained to me that I can’t eat for money, because it’s all-inclusive and what they eat here:
ONLY ITALIANS AND GERMANS!
But the most unpleasant thing is that these plate collectors, who were spinning around during all this action, stood and laughed at how they were kicking us out.

I'm shocked. I do not think that even for 10.000 rubles per month of residence, you need to endure such humiliation.

Beach.

Good, lagoon, sand, there is where to swim, it doesn’t blow out, the water is blue, there are hedgehogs, someone ran into it, I don’t recommend it without slippers. There are more than enough beds.
Reef is dead. But if you haven't seen any fish before, you'll like it.
We melted everything that is possible, there are very few living creatures. Minus surfers rush right over the coral island, they can blow your head off, because you are simply not visible behind the waves.

Animation. In my opinion, it's great, the shows are funny and every day, water aerobics, regular aerobics, dancing. Everyone is very active and professional.

Summary! The hotel was bought by Intourist and it doesn’t matter who you leave Moscow for, it’s still, apparently, the receiving party, it’s them!
Fool our brother:
That excursions can only be bought from them, even a law was written there on a piece of paper. Well, the most important thing is that you are forced to enter your insurance number in the leaflet after arrival (meeting with the guide).
I do not recommend for any money. Surprisingly, dahab in 3 * left the best impressions.

Although in general, we still had a good rest, if you don’t think about how to get food, it’s a shame for colleagues to tell how the rest went. She chose the hotel herself, no one nivolil!

I almost forgot about bracelets .....that's how they track nationality.
Only the Germans and Italians have green bracelets, this is NOT a FOOD TYPE, they have ALL INCLUSIV written on the bracelet, while the rest have red ones, also ALL (to you in the canteen), but others do not.

I would not call this system all inclusive.
