Hello everyone, I would like to write a review about the Lilliland Hotel in Hurghada.
I had a rest with a friend, the ticket was only for 7 days/nights, not enough, of course, but we live in Siberia, and even the fact that we got into the summer at least for such a short time was already a big plus. For all the time of the rest the weather was just great, sometimes the wind was blowing, but it was even better, not so hot.

So, about the hotel… Last year I had a rest in the Aladdin hotel. Perhaps because it was then for the first time in Egypt, I liked everything, everything, everything. This year, apparently, there was already a different view, “comparing”  As for the territory, it is quite large, and, as it were, stretched from the reception to the sea. There is enough greenery and they take care of it every day, I have never felt the smell about which they usually write, honestly. On the one hand, in general, the very fact that in an almost bare desert such "oases" that are arranged in hotels deserves respect.
And on the other hand, there is some kind of monotony in this, everything is the same everywhere.

Rooms in the hotel are represented by small houses (bungalows), which stand in rows of 5 pieces. And there is also the “mythical” Main Building, in which we took, in fact, a ticket, but settled us, as they put it at the reception, in a bungalow. Everything in the room is green-blue light and, in principle, is standard: 2 single beds, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a mirror, a shoe rack, a table, 2 chairs, everything is as it should be in the bathroom: a shower, a large sink with a mirror and a bidet. The room has a safe, mini-bar (just a grandiose name for a small refrigerator, in which they put 2 bottles of water every day, but thanks for that), TV, telephone. Linen and towels were changed every day, we left 1 pound in the room, as recommended. And by the way, it’s a little noticeable that both the furniture and the hotel are not quite “new”, somewhere tinted, somewhere lined, etc.
But in general, the rooms leave a good impression, especially since you go on vacation not to sit in the room, but to sunbathe properly, swim in one of the most beautiful seas, and see something new.

Now about food, on the first day, we, like many, probably came across a restaurant where foreigners are fed, and even went there, but as soon as we started talking, they approached us and politely enough explained that Germans / Italians eat here, and everyone else eats elsewhere and showed. And by the way, the food was the same. Not once did we leave the restaurant hungry, but rather the opposite - we “rolled out”. Yes, I agree, the food is a little monotonous, but there is always something to choose from. Well, for example, there was no day when for lunch and dinner there was the same soup or the same cooked meat/chicken/fish. Several times there were seafood - octopus and crabs.

A lot of vegetable dishes and just a huge amount of pastries, especially at breakfast (and everything is very tasty). Of the fruits for all the time there were grapefruits, grapes, melon, agave, apples. From drinks, it was always possible to freely pour hibiscus, orange and apple juices. Tea/coffee in the morning, beer/wine in the afternoon. Near the beach there was a bar that was open from 10-00 to 16-00, and at that time you could also take all the drinks in it. We had enough food, so, to be honest, there was no desire to visit any other restaurants.

The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one is located somewhere in the middle, it is small, you can’t swing it, and usually there are only children in it and parents are sitting around the tables, there are also several shops where you can buy something necessary for relaxation, for example, sunglasses, a hat, everything for swimming: a mask, fins, etc. , some clothes, souvenirs, leather, but all this is 2 or even 3 times more expensive than on a shopping street close to the hotel.
In the same place, near the small pool, there is an amphitheater where shows are held in the evening, but only for the Germans. The second pool is closer to the sea, next to it is a restaurant. This pool is bigger and usually everyone hangs out near it. But, to be honest, we were indifferent to the pool, because the sea is nearby. By the way, a big plus when the hotel is on the first line. We had to walk 10-12 minutes to the beach on average, although the room was at the very beginning.

The beach is not bad, sandy with pebbles, there were always enough sunbeds. At first, we did not go far, we swam right in the lagoon, of course, this is different from the open sea itself, but in fact it is water from it and there are no clear boundaries between them. I agree that already in the afternoon the water becomes cloudy due to the fact that there is an entrance to the sea from all sides and, accordingly, the sand begins to rise from the bottom from how many people and how many times they go there.

And jellyfish, too, sometimes sailed past without causing inconvenience. To the pier, from which the entrance to the sea is also not long to go - 5-10 minutes, or even less, depending on which side you came from. In recent days, we walked closer to the pier and swam only in the sea. There was also a breeze and waves, generally super. There was a small coral reef right in the sea, it is still clearly young, and there are few bright colored corals, but, nevertheless, they are there, and there are many beautiful colorful fish, sea urchins, we snorkeled, admired.

In general, the sea - this may even be the only argument for a trip, only because of it alone it is worth going to Egypt, it is unforgettable, I have been to other seas, but this cannot be compared with any of them. Transparent, saturated blue-blue, salty (with the highest salt content among all seas, not counting the Dead Sea), warm at any time of the year, beautiful ...
As for the animation, I can’t say anything good or bad, we went to the evening show a couple of times. There is another amphitheater, which is located next to the large pool, where shows are held with the Italian-Russian audience, and there were 5 Italian animators and only 1 Russian girl. The first time we got to the evening of Russian karaoke, there were only Russian compatriots and they sang everything, we sat for a while, sang a couple of songs even into the microphone and left. Then we were on excursions for 2 days in a row and did not go to evening shows, then we went there again, it was something like a humorous show, mostly in Italian and mostly not funny. But we had enough fun and entertainment without it  Once we were on water aerobics, the Italian was leading, it was very cool, I liked it.

As for the staff, everyone was quite polite and friendly, but not annoying and intrusive, we gave tips only to the cleaner and porter.
The only thing we didn’t like was 1 bartender at the reception bar, it was clear that it was a burden for him to do this work, and when I asked for coffee, and then decided that I wanted coffee with milk, after adding milk, they returned the mug to me on a saucer quite carelessly , it splashed a little and the look was unkind, to which I simply asked for a napkin, change the saucer, turned around and left.

Of the excursions, we chose a motorcycle safari on quad bikes to the Bedouin village (there is extreme sports, and camel riding, and acquaintance with the life and life of the Bedouins, and an evening show), a trip to Luxor (I advise everyone, I was very impressed, though a little tiring, but worth it). moreover) and a friend also went to Cairo (I was already last year).
In general, I came to the following conclusions - it’s worth it to relax in Egypt, you can do it more than once or twice (because, for example, I will go on any trip), if you choose Lillyland, it will turn out quite economically and quite comfortable, BUT without any, in fact, frills, super-animation, culinary delights, snow-white sand. But it will be a hotel on the first line with a lagoon and the sea itself, and even with a coral reef, a large green area, 2 pools, a good staff attitude. And the next time I choose a hotel, it is possible that it will be Lillyland.
