Lilu Land Hotel in Hurghada is the worst 4* hotel with very, very poor service. It's not the first time we've been to Egypt. We decided to go to this hotel with friends and children after looking at beautiful photos on various sites and in catalogs. Having decided that 4 * hotels and the all-inclusive system are a guarantee, if not good, then at least normal service. Alas, they were wrong! The service system for vacationers is built on the principle of saving on everything and everyone.
1. The territory is really big, green, quite well-groomed, corresponds to the photo on the websites. With good, that would correspond to the status of a 4 * hotel, that's all.
2. Number. We lived in a bungalow - 2 rooms + kitchen, extractor hood, fake stove. The furniture is simply dead, the doors in the cabinets fall off, the drawers in the chest of drawers open, close the problem, the bed is musical, the plumbing is very old. Instead of the usual soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion in disposable packages, there is a plastic dispenser on the wall in the toilet with a liquid like liquid soap of unknown origin, and the same one in the shower. There is no kettle or glasses in the room! But all this pales in front of the state of towels and bed linen - washed, gray, torn, while not being changed regularly. You throw a dirty towel on the floor, you come, but the same towel is folded on the shelf.

3. Water. Drinking water is provided only on the day of arrival, 1 liter, regardless of the number of people staying in the room. Further, bottled water is not included in the All Inclusive at this hotel. This means that you need to buy water for brushing your teeth, drinking in your room, and taking it with you on an excursion. There is no tea, coffee or sugar in the room.
4. Insects. Mosquitoes and flies - a lot! The hotel does not take any action in this regard.
5. Pools. Big and cold. When the wind is very cold to swim in it, especially for children. Around the pool, respectively, they wash very rarely, be careful when walking barefoot.
In February, when we rested, only the pool in the water park was heated. The children's area in the water park is not bad, there are 6 slides for adults, 2 of them are normal, the rest goodbye panties. The water in the pools is so chlorinated that it breaks the nose.
6. Lagoon. Beautiful, round, large, with a film of fuel on the water and constantly entertaining instructors on water skis. The water temperature is somewhat colder than the sea temperature. But still warmer than the pool.
7. Beach. Dirty on the shore: gobies, disposable cups, bags, orange skins. Public toilets and showers are just kapets, filth…. !! ! The sunbeds are almost all broken. Mattresses are old, torn and dirty. Beach towels are worse than floorcloths, you can’t change them during the day, they take them until 17.00 if you don’t have time to return the next day, you will have to use the same.
8. Entrance to the sea. From the shore only in special shoes - stones, corals!! ! From the pier there are two stairs that fall off, steps through one. There are no lifeguards.
9. Sea. Luckily, nothing can ruin it! Beautiful, affectionate, full of fish. There are several small reefs, there is something and someone to see!

10. The restaurant generally lacks service. There are 2 waiters in each hall, whose duties include only cleaning dirty dishes from the tables, since they are not interested in new vacationers sitting at their tables (there is more work), they clean the dirty dishes very slowly, and make new serving extremely reluctantly, therefore, if you do not come at the beginning of breakfast, lunch or dinner, be patient and exacting in order to achieve a served place for eating. They don’t even talk about wiping, washing the table, they will shake off the remnants of food on the chairs at most !! ! Tables are sticky, dirty, chairs in the same form!! ! The dishes are washed very poorly, with a lot of chipped ones, until you find a clean cup you will sort out half a foot. The waiters do not serve the tables with drinks, so you will also go for drinks yourself, stand in line and ask for several at once, so as not to run every time and stand in line.
11. Food. Poor, monotonous menu. At breakfast, an omelette is made with whatever the chef wants without asking you, or rather, the missing greens, peppers, and not cheese, ham and tomatoes are put in the omelet. The approach is - take what they give. The same goes for cooking spaghetti. There is no meat for breakfast at all. Milk is cold. Yoghurts are more like kefir. Chicken, fish is, in principle, every day for lunch and dinner, but cooked disgustingly. Beef is given in the form of minced meat products, it is not possible to eat. The main vegetables in this hotel: cabbage, carrot, pumpkin, onion - in different forms. Cucumbers, tomatoes - in small quantities, quickly run out and reluctantly replenished. Fruits only in cut form: oranges, guava, melon. Fruit salad for breakfast - all chopped fruits float in water with an unpleasant aftertaste. Grill: chicken, fish are given 1 piece each, if you don’t leave right away and ask for the 2nd piece, they will give it, but with the appearance that you are ruining the hotel, they may not give it, but send it to the end of the line. Powdered juice diluted with water is not recommended for children. There are no packaged juices, fresh juices anywhere, neither in the canteen, nor in bars, nor for payment. Water from coolers, bottles without labels, therefore, it’s not a fact that it’s not from the tap.
12. Animation. Evening performances of such quality that it could not be better. It’s better not to play beach volleyball, it’s more expensive for yourself - there is no sand, stones.
13. Contingent. 95% Russians and Ukrainians, 5% all the rest (Poles, Germans, etc. ). Germans - units (also an indicator - they do not go to hotels with a slop service).

I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family. And in general, for the first time we got into such a “popandos”. In general, I don’t focus on trifles, and I don’t get annoyed by the fact that water is pouring on my head in the shower, and my husband is not picky at all, but somehow I don’t want to pay for dirt. Even local taxi drivers, at the mention of Lilu Land, say - fu, dirty... Who is traveling for the first time and has not been anywhere, you can go, but is it necessary? That's actually all.
