I have been in Egypt 20 times, so there is something to compare with, the hotel is not bad, the rooms are shabby but you can live, the territory is very good, the food is normal, alcohol in Egypt sucks everywhere, but here it is still mixed with water, so it’s generally unrealistic to drink, except for beer. The main disadvantage is the shallow sea, a paradise for children, for adults only for surfing. As for a budget holiday with children - I RECOMMEND.
