Hello! Returned from this hotel yesterday. While memories are fresh, I decided to drop a couple of lines. So - went to this hotel solely for a kite ride. As a result, out of 10 days, the wind was only on the first day and the last, on the rest it was completely calm, so the gurney failed... I had to find other entertainment. I want to note that I travel a lot to distant countries, but - always without tours. on one's own. On the AI system rested for the first time.
The hotel rooms are average, C-grade, even if compared with the simplest hotels in Asia for $30. The area is normal, but the neighboring hotels have more. The sea, after the "aquarium" in the area of El Quseir and Marsa Alam, is dead, in the truest sense of the word. But they feed and drink on a solid four. Baking even for 5. There is no shortage of either fish or meat or vegetables, fruits and alcohol, unlike, for example, neighboring hotels and many hotels in Hurghada itself (were there on a visit, talked with people - pasta with sausages, french fries and often an empty bar). And yes, the staff is friendly. No one asks for a tip, no one bothers. Nice waiters at dinner. They began to communicate with one of them (with hair combed back, he is the only one there) from the first day, he always found the best table for us and from the third day he immediately brought 2 glasses of wine. Since then, he always left him a tip. The same attitude (pleasant and polite) was also among those to whom he did not give anything. The only conflict was on the day of departure - at the reception they began to demand a dollar for some chips at the bar, which I did not take. I didn't give them anything in principle. I left a tip much more than a dollar, and I'm not used to paying for something that I didn't take. This story spoiled the impression of the hotel and left without saying goodbye to anyone.
The hotel has a fitness center (but it did not work, supposedly under repair) and a disco. The music, surprisingly, is not as terrible as in neighboring hotels, and good Arabic music often played on the beach, dub and reggae, but sometimes pop music like Andryusha Gubin 15 years ago. )
If the animators offer to go to Hurghada to the Little Buddha club, be sure to go, BUT - only once! We went two - oh horror - the music in the club was the same as the first time, but the DJ was different, which indicates a low level of the institution. I told the DJ that he plays sucks, he began to play different kinds of music after that, but someone called me and said, dude, this is the best club in Hurghada and I shouldn't touch the DJ. ))
A few words about the weather - it was hot all the days, + 24-26 in the shade (33-37 in the sun), it got cold in the evenings, + 14-16, sometimes up to 12, somewhere like that... FOR 10 days in December it’s really good get a tan. The sea is cool. But - as soon as you climb out into the sun - it's immediately warm. The location of the sun loungers is unfortunate and it is difficult to find free ones in a good place not in the morning.
Summing up - the hotel is ideal for couples with children and pensioners and those who love a relaxing holiday. As well as kitesurfers and windsurfers (the station is right in the hotel). For young people without children (like me) the hotel may seem boring. When the hotel opened, there were many foreigners in it, but now, apart from Russians, Ukrainians, Baltic states and rare guests from Eastern Europe, there is no one. Not even usual. Usually, wherever I have been before - Russian speech is a rarity. The rooms are below average, the territory is normal but small, the food is varied (do not believe those who write the opposite). Beach - could be better. But for the category I wrote about above, it's perfect. I need to send my parents here.
