Good afternoon everyone. I want to tell you about my vacation in Hurghada, the sea of emotions, it was my first visit to this country.
I'll start in order.
The host in Hurghada was the tour operator Als tours. I have no complaints about this company - transfers, excursions, the representatives themselves - everything was well organized, clearly on schedule and friendly. We were taken to the hotel, helped to accommodate, on the very first evening a meeting was scheduled with their representative Hasan (special thanks to him), at which he told what to do and what not to do. Hassan himself did not speak very flatteringly about this hotel, by the way. Looking ahead a bit, I'll tell you where we went.
Through the same company, we booked 3 trips on the spot - Hammam, Luxor and Paradise Island. All together for two it came out to about 340 dollars. Describe the tour for a long time - who are interested, I will tell you separately.

Now placement. Before the trip, I looked at a lot of photos on this site and was ready for the worst. Firstly, on both sides of the hotel there is active construction. The area itself is quite small, especially not to roam. Considering this, I think that I was lucky with the number. We were placed on the ground floor in a 3-storey building, located on the left side of the main side to the beach. Opposite us were a row of bungalows, from which we were separated by a pond with a wild amount of fish and a bridge leading to the beach. Mosquitoes and midges - a lot. Accordingly, there was a balcony, an air conditioner, a refrigerator, even a safe worked (one "but" - the built-in safe was not built in, that is, theoretically, it could simply be taken from the closet and taken away. We were reassured that this was not the case). The room is old, unpretentious, there is a finger-thick gap in the door. There was a small bath, but without a plug. There is no ventilation in the toilet at all, which somewhat violated the romance of the vacation =).
Food. We fed regularly 3 times a day - breakfast (7-10 am), lunch (12-15) and dinner (6-9). The food is so-so, but there was something to eat - every day some meat / chicken / fish, some fruits (watermelon, melon, apples, bananas), some salads and vegetables. Delicious desserts, by the way. Breakfast and dinner were held in the main restaurant, dined in a cafe on the beach. During the whole day it was possible to use the beach bar, the restaurant bar or the lobby bar in the main building. They gave us juice, soda, some cocktails, local (diluted but cold) beer and vile local alcohol. Either beer or bring your own. The bartenders are nice and nice, but there is a big minus - the glasses are washed disgustingly. Each bar has a water cooler - you can get a bottle and take water with you to your room - you can’t even brush your teeth with tap water.
water procedures. Pools work, they are cleaned, I'm not complaining here. The water in the pool is wildly chlorinated - i. e. you have a small choice - either the salty sea, or bleach in the pool. Don't count on water slides - in 10 days of rest, I saw them working 3 times in total.
Sea. I was scared that the pier was being repaired and I had to walk 300 meters on foot to the normal depth. Yes, such a sign hangs, but everyone calmly used the pier. The sea is clean, salty, fish, crabs, the inscription "tagil rules" with pebbles on the shore - in general, a blunder. On the beach - umbrellas, in principle, there was enough space to sunbathe. The only thing is that there were not always towels available, and they were a little scary.
The animation was not annoying at all. I played beach volleyball a couple of times, like there was some kind of mythical water aerobics. The animators themselves are nothing. Every evening there was some kind of entertainment program by the pool for an hour - belly dancing, fakirs, magic tricks and something else. From 23:00 there was a disco in Ch. building, but I was not there.

Actually, it was pretty boring. The hotel had one pool table and one table tennis table, all very old. Sometimes it was possible to play - most of the time they were occupied by Arab children. There were an incredible number of Arabs, they behaved disgustingly and very noisily. But this is a separate story, they say that there are much fewer of them in 5-star hotels.
I can recommend this hotel for a budget holiday to quiet families with children (there were sooo many children) or to large companies that have fun without animation.
In general, I rate the hotel at 3 stars, next time I will look for 5-stars with a large territory and animation.
Everything seems to be covered, please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you.
