After skiing I wanted summer. They took it and flew for a week.
About the resort:
To our surprise, we discovered Hurghada: Russian-speaking staff are everywhere, excursions are very civilized, in general, we liked Hurghada more than Sharm, although for many years we have been listening to the same thing that Sharm El Sheikh is better. Maybe we did not go to Sharm successfully, but Hurghada is better. IMHO.
We were also shocked by the weather: on the first day - 14 degrees cold, strong wind, and people are sunbathing! We are shocked, but it turns out it was the first warm day, before that it was up to 10 degrees. But we were lucky after 2 days the weather became beautiful: warm 22-24 degrees, the sun and the complete absence of wind. The beauty!
About the hotel:
We were a little disappointed that we still had to take Sunny Days El Palacio 5 * and newer buildings and, they said, better food. And it seems like one complex, but they didn’t let us in there.
From the pros:
- almost all rooms are located close to the sea.
From our room to the sea was no more than 30 meters. The rooms on the 1st floor have terraces immersed in greenery. Lyapota!
- the hotel will not leave you hungry: convenient schedule of the main restaurant, and all sorts of pizza bars, afternoon snacks and snacks in between.
- there are no construction sites nearby: the rest is quiet and peaceful.
- the bar is open until 24.00 : )
- a lot of sweets.
Of the minuses:
- hotelchik, of course a bit old.
- food - leaves much to be desired. No meat, no normal salads. Only once, or rather one day, namely on January 15, everyone suddenly perked up in the hotel, began to carry out general cleaning, clean and wash even the sidewalk, they were probably waiting for someone, then it was lunch like lunch, and dinner was also not bad.
- I don't know why it is considered that plastic cups in a bar are a minus? After a glass of beer with someone's lipstick on the walls, we asked and were happy only for plastic cups: it's better to take 3-4 layers. glass than...
Total: if you don’t bother much with trifles, enjoy your vacation and enjoy, but it’s not even bad. In the sea from the shore you can swim with a mask to watch corals and a small underwater world.
Special thanks for the daily tours to the Nice Trip store, which is located outside our hotel, in front of the Arabian Hotel (something like that), across the road.
