Animation for children. No one asked for money (they hint carefully all the time). Dishes in the canteen are always fresh. Part of the hall for adults without children. We chose this hotel only because we wanted to see Hurghada and visit Luxor. I recommend the hotel with a very big stretch, for a transit visit and for not very big money. Unfortunately, you will not feel like a welcome guest in this hotel!

Everything is relative. My review will be especially useful for those who will choose between holidays in Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4* and Sunny Days Palacio 4*+. We had the opportunity to visit both hotels in parallel and compare them from "a" to "z".
Initially, when choosing a tour with my husband, we stumbled upon the photo and description of the Days Palacio 4 * + hotel. The photos were gorgeous, the reviews were numerous and most of them very good. We did not know about the existence of Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 at all. Without hesitation, we decided to go to this hotel - Sunny Days Palacio. Due to our inattention, there was a confusion in the travel agency and, as it turned out later, we bought a ticket to Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 *. We did not know that Sunny Days is a hotel chain (4.4+ and 5 stars). They flew with a picture in the head of one hotel, but ended up in a completely different one.
Honestly, the first impression was complete shock and disappointment. When you imagined and expected one thing, but ended up in a completely different one. Everything seemed to be miserable and terrible.
But I won’t describe it in detail, since it was the first and ERRONEOUS impression that formed against the background of a mismatch between reality and the folded picture in my head (do not see professional hotel photos from a good angle). In addition, at first they also gave us an average room with separate beds.
Thanks to the manager Marina, all our problems were solved, and thank God that we listened to her! This is the most wonderful person who became our assistant and adviser in all matters and problems, since our guide Mukhtar did not remember us even once and at the first and only meeting in 8 days, in addition to selling expensive excursions, he did not tell absolutely anything. His goal was to sell standard excursions several times more expensive, and nothing else bothered him. I greeted him and immediately began to make a speech, otherwise I won’t call it.
This has nothing to do with the hotel, I think everyone who has been to Egypt at least once knows that taking excursions from a guide is a big mistake. You leave the hotel and there are a lot of these excursions at every turn, and they are all the same for everyone!
ROOM:
Thanks to Marina's operational work, we got a good room with a great view without paying extra. Do not rush to give 10 bucks at the reception (otherwise this "politics" really got me, until you pay extra, you get a normal number), you can solve everything humanly! The room has everything for a comfortable stay (air conditioning, plasma, a normal shower and toilet; each room has a balcony or terrace). The room is cleaned every day, regardless of whether you leave $ 1 or not, they clean it equally well, and periodically add shower accessories (gel, shampoo).
I can’t say about the rooms in the Sunny Days Palacio why they are better, I’ll say one thing for sure, that a huge number of rooms are located directly above the stage, where animation takes place every day until 23:00 and music plays very loudly, perhaps the youth, who does not go to bed early, this it doesn’t interfere at all, but with a child it’s not possible to relax normally there, for sure, is it possible to take rooms further, far to the lobby, restaurant, etc.
Initially, we decided to move to the "desired hotel", Palacio, with a surcharge (the difference between the rest in hotels was about $ 200), but we were given the opportunity to visit there, to see everything, go there to eat, to animation, etc. And you know It didn't take long for us to understand that Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4* is exactly what my husband and I needed. In Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 * most of the tourists are older Europeans and families with children, there are not so many young people. In Palacio, 70% of young people, and not always adequate (if we are also young people, we are 26, but we were more comfortable in Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 *).
TERRITORY AND VIEW:
The territory of Sunny Days Palma De Mirrette is in no way inferior to the improved Palacio, neither outwardly nor in area, the only difference is the number of rooms (in Palacio there are three times more rooms). Accordingly, in Sunny Days Palma there is less noise, gamma, dirt, etc. There is the same pool, everything is just as compact, the same buildings, the same palm trees. The bay (despite the fact that Palacio has an incredibly beautiful photo, and we were initially taken by it), at Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 * it is much more beautiful and better. Here it is like a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the open sea, further there are corals. The entrance to the sea on the sand, which is very nice and we needed it, we did not want a 150-meter beach. in Palacio, the bay looks like a big bridge between two buildings, it is not clear that this is even the sea, there is no sand in fact, just stone steps.
FOOD ALCOHOL
The food in the two hotels is absolutely the same and the alcohol too (Both there and there alcohol from 10 to 01:00, local alcohol, as elsewhere; bottled beer, delicious).
Only three bars, one in the lobby, one near the beach, one right in the pool. In the restaurant, you can choose what to eat for every taste (plus or minus the food in Egypt in hotels is very similar; there is a choice of fish and meat dishes, a lot of vegetables, seasonal fruits, a variety of soups and mashed soups every day, a lot of sweets, but we not lovers; at the bar near the beach - late breakfasts (buns, coffee) and in the afternoon from 12 delicious ice cream). There is a food court, open from 12 to 17:00 near the main restaurant (from 12 to 15 - burgers and french fries, from 15 to 17 - pizza).
The biggest plus is that in Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 * you don’t stand in line for food for half an hour, you don’t look for a soup spoon for 45 minutes and eat it already cold and after the main course, you don’t fight over plates that are few and snatched from hands (yes, in Palacio there are huge problems with this, the number of tables and dishes is not calculated for such a number of guests).
You do not sit "on the nix" and do not take turns with your husband for food, as at any moment they can take away your table, cutlery or chair. In general, everything is wild there with this.
When you go for tomorrow/lunch/dinner at Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4* you always calmly choose the table you like, calmly choose food, there are always dishes and cutlery. The employees are smiling and kind. At the Palacio, employees run around angry, as it is very difficult to cope with so many guests and piles of dirty dishes.
The mood before a meal is always spoiled in Palacio, as if you sit down with a squeezed lemon when you finally managed to knock out at least some table and at least some plate.
STAFF, ENTERTAINMENT
Almost all the staff of Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 * are very smiling and nice, helpful and positive! Everyone always greets, smiles and pays attention (it doesn't matter if it's a beach, a restaurant or a lobby).
Unlike Palma, where everyone is in a hustle and bustle, angry and tired, everyone runs around and no one pays attention to you, everyone has their own business. Again, I repeat, special thanks to the manager of the hotel Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 Marina, she was like a "mommy" for us, constantly in touch, an assistant in all matters).
In one of the two pools there are two slides (similar in two hotels), in the morning, as elsewhere, exercises, aerobics, volleyball and water games. There is animation (in Palma, of course, it is a little higher level, with a stage and huge speakers, since there are many times more vacationers there, but since there are constant problems with tables and huge queues at the bar, in most cases we preferred our bar and our animation ).
More about the bar, in our Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4, almost all bartenders are generous (they pour enough alcohol and you don’t have to run every five minutes, like in Palma, where they pour almost a sip of whiskey, gin, etc.

3. For lovers of fish and seafood, I definitely advise you to visit the fish market, it is a 5-minute bus ride from the hotel (we walked for the first time for 30-40 minutes).
You need to go there in the morning (best around 8:30-9:00) to take a fresher and livelier catch.
It is more convenient to get, of course, by bus. Catch a minibus (minibuses are small and old, you can immediately see them) right next to the hotel (on the opposite side of the road, give 2 pounds (for one) and go to the Town Hall (stops only on demand, just shout "STOP" near the Town Hall). And pay only in pounds , they won’t give you change from dollars (17 pounds - $ 1) And preferably without change, since they are not big fans of giving change, they gave us change only once, the rest of the times they tried to cheat.
In the market, the prices plus or minus are the same for everyone and they are not traded there, the prices are adequate and not screwed up. For the fish soul there is simply a paradise, ranging from shrimp, squid, octopus, ending with lobsters and all kinds of fish, the food is cooked on the spot (boiled or grilled). We took king and tiger prawns no smaller than the size of a palm.
Prices were from 12 to 15 dollars per kg already with cooking. More we liked just boiled in spices, but here it’s not for everyone. Grilled with vegetables and spices.

We are very happy that the confusion with hotels came out, that our opinion was erroneous, that we still stayed at Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 *. In addition to the fact that we saved at least $ 200 and were able to spend it on excursions, we got a COMFORTABLE, QUIET, GREAT REST, and not the fuss, noise and constant queues everywhere!!!

Everything is relative. My review will be especially useful for those who will choose between holidays in Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4* and Sunny Days Palacio 4*+. We had the opportunity to visit both hotels in parallel and compare them from "a" to "z".
Initially, when choosing a tour with my husband, we stumbled upon the photo and description of the Days Palacio 4 * + hotel. The photos were gorgeous, the reviews were numerous and most of them very good. We did not know about the existence of Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 at all. Without hesitation, we decided to go to this hotel - Sunny Days Palacio. Due to our inattention, there was a confusion in the travel agency and, as it turned out later, we bought a ticket to Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 *. We did not know that Sunny Days is a hotel chain (4.4+ and 5 stars). They flew with a picture in the head of one hotel, but ended up in a completely different one.
Honestly, the first impression was complete shock and disappointment. When you imagined and expected one thing, but ended up in a completely different one. Everything seemed to be miserable and terrible.
But I won’t describe it in detail, since it was the first and ERRONEOUS impression that formed against the background of a mismatch between reality and the folded picture in my head (do not see professional hotel photos from a good angle). In addition, at first they also gave us an average room with separate beds.
Thanks to the manager Marina, all our problems were solved, and thank God that we listened to her! This is the most wonderful person who became our assistant and adviser in all matters and problems, since our guide Mukhtar did not remember us even once and at the first and only meeting in 8 days, in addition to selling expensive excursions, he did not tell absolutely anything. His goal was to sell standard excursions several times more expensive, and nothing else bothered him. I greeted him and immediately began to make a speech, otherwise I won’t call it.
This has nothing to do with the hotel, I think everyone who has been to Egypt at least once knows that taking excursions from a guide is a big mistake. You leave the hotel and there are a lot of these excursions at every turn, and they are all the same for everyone!
ROOM:
Thanks to Marina's operational work, we got a good room with a great view without paying extra. Do not rush to give 10 bucks at the reception (otherwise this "politics" really got me, until you pay extra, you get a normal number), you can solve everything humanly! The room has everything for a comfortable stay (air conditioning, plasma, a normal shower and toilet; each room has a balcony or terrace). The room is cleaned every day, regardless of whether you leave $ 1 or not, they clean it equally well, and periodically add shower accessories (gel, shampoo).
I can’t say about the rooms in the Sunny Days Palacio why they are better, I’ll say one thing for sure, that a huge number of rooms are located directly above the stage, where animation takes place every day until 23:00 and music plays very loudly, perhaps the youth, who does not go to bed early, this it doesn’t interfere at all, but with a child it’s not possible to relax normally there, for sure, is it possible to take rooms further, far to the lobby, restaurant, etc.
Initially, we decided to move to the "desired hotel", Palacio, with a surcharge (the difference between the rest in hotels was about $ 200), but we were given the opportunity to visit there, to see everything, go there to eat, to animation, etc. And you know It didn't take long for us to understand that Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4* is exactly what my husband and I needed. In Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 * most of the tourists are older Europeans and families with children, there are not so many young people. In Palacio, 70% of young people, and not always adequate (if we are also young people, we are 26, but we were more comfortable in Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 *).
TERRITORY AND VIEW:
The territory of Sunny Days Palma De Mirrette is in no way inferior to the improved Palacio, neither outwardly nor in area, the only difference is the number of rooms (in Palacio there are three times more rooms). Accordingly, in Sunny Days Palma there is less noise, gamma, dirt, etc. There is the same pool, everything is just as compact, the same buildings, the same palm trees. The bay (despite the fact that Palacio has an incredibly beautiful photo, and we were initially taken by it), at Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 * it is much more beautiful and better. Here it is like a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the open sea, further there are corals. The entrance to the sea on the sand, which is very nice and we needed it, we did not want a 150-meter beach. in Palacio, the bay looks like a big bridge between two buildings, it is not clear that this is even the sea, there is no sand in fact, just stone steps.
FOOD ALCOHOL
The food in the two hotels is absolutely the same and the alcohol too (Both there and there alcohol from 10 to 01:00, local alcohol, as elsewhere; bottled beer, delicious).
Only three bars, one in the lobby, one near the beach, one right in the pool. In the restaurant, you can choose what to eat for every taste (plus or minus the food in Egypt in hotels is very similar; there is a choice of fish and meat dishes, a lot of vegetables, seasonal fruits, a variety of soups and mashed soups every day, a lot of sweets, but we not lovers; at the bar near the beach - late breakfasts (buns, coffee) and in the afternoon from 12 delicious ice cream). There is a food court, open from 12 to 17:00 near the main restaurant (from 12 to 15 - burgers and french fries, from 15 to 17 - pizza).
The biggest plus is that in Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 * you don’t stand in line for food for half an hour, you don’t look for a soup spoon for 45 minutes and eat it already cold and after the main course, you don’t fight over plates that are few and snatched from hands (yes, in Palacio there are huge problems with this, the number of tables and dishes is not calculated for such a number of guests).
You do not sit "on the nix" and do not take turns with your husband for food, as at any moment they can take away your table, cutlery or chair. In general, everything is wild there with this.
When you go for tomorrow/lunch/dinner at Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4* you always calmly choose the table you like, calmly choose food, there are always dishes and cutlery. The employees are smiling and kind. At the Palacio, employees run around angry, as it is very difficult to cope with so many guests and piles of dirty dishes.
The mood before a meal is always spoiled in Palacio, as if you sit down with a squeezed lemon when you finally managed to knock out at least some table and at least some plate.
STAFF, ENTERTAINMENT
Almost all the staff of Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 * are very smiling and nice, helpful and positive! Everyone always greets, smiles and pays attention (it doesn't matter if it's a beach, a restaurant or a lobby).
Unlike Palma, where everyone is in a hustle and bustle, angry and tired, everyone runs around and no one pays attention to you, everyone has their own business. Again, I repeat, special thanks to the manager of the hotel Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4 Marina, she was like a "mommy" for us, constantly in touch, an assistant in all matters).
In one of the two pools there are two slides (similar in two hotels), in the morning, as elsewhere, exercises, aerobics, volleyball and water games. There is animation (in Palma, of course, it is a little higher level, with a stage and huge speakers, since there are many times more vacationers there, but since there are constant problems with tables and huge queues at the bar, in most cases we preferred our bar and our animation ).
More about the bar, in our Sunny Days Palma De Mirette 4, almost all bartenders are generous (they pour enough alcohol and you don’t have to run every five minutes, like in Palma, where they pour almost a sip of whiskey, gin, etc.

The contingent of vacationers is very different, mainly from Western Europe, there are many pensioners, ours are also there, but less, there is always a Russian-speaking employee in the lobby. In general, I can conclude that the hotel is a real good four, we didn’t find any particularly grandiose minuses, and there will be minor flaws in any hotel, especially for that kind of money, so you can safely go here.
