We had a rest in Titanic Palace 5 * with a family: two adults and two children (5 and 12 years old) from August 19 to September 2.2017. that we should not expect anything extraordinary from the Egyptian service, we were ready in advance. This was our first trip to Egypt (before that we preferred to stay in Turkey ... )
The hotel as a whole is ugly, but in Titanic Palace 5 * we will definitely never return, because the biggest disadvantage of our holiday there was the complete lack of sea ....water at low tide was not at all, only wet sand .....familiar that the tides and low tides - this is a typical phenomenon for the area, but we could not even imagine that there are beaches where there is no water at all ......but if you are ready to fly with children more than a thousand kilometers to then sit and sniff chlorine in the pool, then this hotel is for you! ! ! !!
My family flew to the sea, but, unfortunately, we did not see the sea there at all .....although the beach itself is very large and neat and tidy, but ......
there is no sea: ((this is the main reason for our reluctance to return there again .... )
Our vacation was saved by sea excursions, on which we spent two full wonderful days! ! ! ! ! ! ! We visited the island of Utopia, as well as Dolphin Bay! ! ! ! ! ! ! I highly recommend these tours! ! ! ! ! You will spend an unforgettable hour on a yacht, where you will be fed a delicious lunch, have the opportunity to swim in the open sea amidst the unique beauty of coral and see the incredible underwater world of the Red Sea, ride an inflatable banana and tablet you will have the opportunity not only to see flocks of dolphins in the sea, but also swim with them! ! ! ! ! !!
Excursions will be offered to you by everyone: from the hotel by your tour operator, and ending with various representatives of other travel agencies located in the hotel and beyond ....
however, do not rush to buy these tours from them, because the prices there are three times more expensive than the real prices !! ! ! ! !!
Positive moments, which should also be written about, was a very large, clean and green area of the hotel, which was carefully cared for ...a huge number of pools of varying depth, a chic water park for adults and children, good animation, mini club for kids .....food is also good: fish was daily, meat of two kinds (chicken and beef), several side dishes, vegetables, fruits (oranges, apples, pears, grapes, bananas, dates, watermelons), dessert table is slightly poorer than in Turkey. Twice in 15 days we fried crabs and once we were given squid dishes.
It was worse with drinks: coffee only from vending machines, cola, fanta, sprite and soda - also hardware, juices are similar to powdered drinks, moreover, strongly diluted with water ...... , but it did not cause us problems, because we do not then went there))))
All holidaymakers can visit 4 main restaurants and 10 restaurants of international cuisine (I recommend going to Italian, Japanese, Mongolian, Chinese and grill restaurants) ...their visit is completely free (but we always left tea for employees who ran around us all evening)
Dishes in restaurants are well washed, not chipped (as is often the case), tables were always free, but I was very impressed by one point: the floor in the restaurant is not washed at all, once my eyes fell on the plinth in the main restaurant, the appetite immediately missing, because at the same moment flashed thoughts: what is happening there in the kitchen? ! ! !!
Is it really the same order? ! ! ! ! After that incident, we started going to eat at Titanic Beach 5 * restaurants (we could also use the infrastructure of this neighboring hotel), there I did not notice such horror in the restaurants on the floor))
Apparently there are problems with cleaning everywhere in Egypt, because in our room for 15 days the floor was not washed once, but bed linen and towels were changed regularly ...we did not pay much attention to it, because we did not want to spoil your vacation because of such trivia. ...
In general, our holiday was good and we will definitely return to Egypt, but we will look for a hotel that must have the sea !! ! ! ! !!
