Visited this hotel for the May holidays.
First impressions upon arrival are positive, there are practically no queues (no more than 5-7 minutes to the window). However, it was even possible to speed up this process - Arabs with VIP signs scurry around and for some $ 20 from your nose they will fill out a declaration and skip the line to passport control. But the most important thing is that getting luggage and hanging out at the tour operator's bus will nullify all the efforts and costs for the accelerated process of customs procedures. I advise you not to rush anywhere - they will wait for you anyway!
Upon arrival at the hotel - and we arrived an hour before the check-in, we received the room immediately, for a couple of portraits of American presidents - they allowed us to choose the most suitable room for us. We settled in 5208 - a fairly convenient location for those who were brought on vacation - a 3-year-old son and a 70-year-old mother.

You rarely see such a well-designed and built hotel.
There is practically no noise and stench from the kitchen of restaurants. The noise of the night disco is also not audible. And if drunken Poles and Germans do not surround you (neighbourly), and under the balcony they do not yell garns from Ukraine, then with the sunset you will truly enjoy the peace and tranquility.
The rooms are large, the furniture is new, the linen is clean - the quality of the repair is "Egyptian" everywhere everything is clumsy, crooked and clumsy.
Cleaning in the room is beyond praise - a tip when meeting the person responsible for cleanliness in the room and a couple of dollars daily encouragement probably worked.
The food is very, very poor. In Egypt, not the first time and almost the tenth year. There is a tendency that from year to year the quality of service is falling, and after the unfinished revolution, it has generally fallen catastrophically. Everywhere there is complete anarchy, irresponsibility and pride in the revolution.
So let's continue about nutrition - there is practically no choice of dishes, but you will never be hungry.
Savings on everything. It comes to the ridiculous - instead of rice - chopped... vegetables in the form of drought-starved thick-skinned cucumbers and spotted tomatoes.
The fruit table was limited to spotted bananas, small oranges and occasionally apples. To prevent tourists from stealing apples, they were often cut and soaked in syrup - that's how they were served.
True, a couple of times they "gave" melon-collective farmer and dates. There is no such abundance of fruits and vegetables as it was before. Guava, strawberries, watermelons, grapes, figs.....remained in the past. Chronic queues in the mornings for scrambled eggs with pancakes, and in the afternoon and in the evenings for pasta are explained simply - there is nothing more.....
I will not write about the disgusting quality of Local alcohol - and without me the poems were published.
But people go to Egypt not for "eating" - but for the SEA!

More about the "beach" recreation area.
The water park deserves all praise - perhaps the best on the coast of Hurghada. The children's zone of the water park is a childhood dream! Pirate ship with slides and tunnels.
Wave pool, rafting. . . you can write about it endlessly.
The pier is of enormous length (about a kilometer) - far out into the sea.
However, the sea, as many in the reviews wrote - NO!
I chose this hotel based on recommendations from friends and reviews from previous guests.
I expected that at the end of the pier, as before, there would be a pontoon and a minibus would circulate along the pier.
But all this backwardness is in the past, after the revolution the pontoon disappeared and no one carries vacationers along the pier....
During our stay until 16-00 there was a low tide - the sea went far beyond the reefs, exposing the bottom, and returned in the evening.
The maximum water level reached 40 centimeters - and this is over 600-700 meters from the coast.
Children expanse. Yes, and parents do not have to watch their children - in such a "sea" no one will ever drown and a shark will not swim ; -).
Adults go swimming - a problem. You can, of course, walk for 20 minutes along the pier and dive.
However, this only applies to young people and middle-aged people. The height of the pier above the sea is about 4 meters.
Two vertical stainless steel ladders. Stairs without handrails. Rise - also in line....
One gets the feeling that the worse for the local Mubaraks for vacationers, the better for the Arabs.
On the beach of the neighboring hotel and the swimming area is more comfortable and the pier is much more "friendly", but this is a foreign territory and it is almost impossible to get there, to swim.
Free sunbeds on the beach could be found almost always, even if not in the first or second row.
Nobody cleans the sand on the beach, the garbage is not removed. So do not be surprised that if playing in the sand on the beach - your child will find a dozen gobies and even more "exotic" waste of civilization.

The coastal zone is also in the garbage.
Attitude towards the Russians - as people of the second and even third grade, beachboys and Mubaraks fawn over the Germans and Poles....On the one hand, it is strange, but on the other, everything is easily explained. The most silently swallowed rudeness in his address is a tourist from Russia.
During the last week of rest, the scene was striking, as the beachboys and mubaraks "mined" a place under the sun for a German married couple with children. They appeared at the eleventh hour, accompanied by Mubaroks, chose a place in the first row of sun loungers from the sea. They began to drive away Russian and Ukrainian tourists from them.
The rudeness with which they did it - it must be seen. This family lay in the center of the beach next to the bar, the Frau sunbathed topless, dumping her forty-year-old boobs for everyone to see, despite the fact that families with children rested nearby. Beachboys brought them fresh towels and beer. . .
Only on the last day of our vacation, the Mubaraks did not guess - they ran into the wrong person....they received a sunbed according to their Arabic faces with a wooden sunbed from the FATHER of the Russian family. Has justice prevailed? Germans boors and Arabs got what they deserved?!
There was practically no animation, after our friends complained to the reception - on the third day a guy and a girl appeared - animators from Yekaterinburg and at least something began to happen.
On the last day of our stay, they even managed to water the volleyball ground....
Children's animation only for Germans. It was especially funny how a portly Kyrgyz girl held a children's disco for German children.
In the children's room - the so-called club, the air conditioner did not work, and staying there is akin to staying in a bathhouse, all the toys are broken, the children are crowding around the TV with cartoons or drawing. No organization. . .
Summary:
The hotel is very beautiful and built "friendly" in relation to vacationers.

The territory is huge and unkempt, there is little shady greenery, a lot of flower beds.
The rooms are large and fresh.
Room service is excellent and probably depends on the tip.
Service at the hotel - apart from the word mess, nothing comes to mind.
The water park is great.
Meals - at the level of a provincial canteen. There is no children's table - but the children will not go hungry.
Children's rest, both at sea and in the water park, is beyond praise.
The sea is only from the pier and for the elderly it is not available.
The organization of service on the beach - it simply does not exist. The beach is not cleaned.
It is practically impossible to catch an infection, only if you try very hard. Poisoning is possible only with Local alcohol.
There are mosquitoes, the Russian raptor is not a fighter with them - the child was bitten.
The attitude of the local Arabs towards the Russians is arrogant, on the verge of hostility.
The hotel is not much losing its presentability and is filled, probably, with people who are in this hotel for the first time or were here at the best of times and go by inertia.
According to the guys from the animation in Egypt after the revolution everywhere, in all hotels they began to save on tourists, reducing the level of service by almost half of the previous one.
Whom the above does not scare - come and relax.
I myself will return to this hotel, probably, it is unlikely that I will advise my friends.
