Hello! More about the hotel.
Hello! Though late, but I would like to share my impressions about this hotel.
I want to pay attention to the infrastructure of the hotel, which is relevant at any time of rest.
It was my first time in Egypt, I traveled alone. Tour operator - Teztur.
So the hotel. Number selection.
First of all, pay attention to the pointer to photo number 1. It shows directions to the hotel buildings (except the main building). The pointer is located between the main building and the amphitheater (to the left of the entrance and the reception, if you stand facing the entrance).
Letters A, B, C, D, E, F - indicate the name of the two-story bungalow buildings (the letters are written on each of the bungalows). Each bungalow building consists of 20 (as it seemed to me) different types of rooms. Therefore, the number in such a bungalow will be called, for example, B1-B20. (see photo #2) .

Numbers from 601 - 770 designate - a complex of several combined bungalows. The views from these buildings are different.
They are especially good in those bungalows that are located near the pool (if I’m not mistaken, E, F and partly a bungalow complex: on photo No. 3, these bungalows are visible if you look at them from the side of the pool, and on f. No. 4 - one of the views from these same numbers). Some of the bungalow rooms have a view of the windows of the neighboring bungalow, as you can see in photo No. 2 (in my opinion, this is the only drawback of the bungalow - well, for me). Some of the rooms have a view of the path along the beautifully decorated hotel fence (see f. 8) - but this is only on the first floors, on the second, as I was told, you can see the sea, but not everywhere. Further, numbers from 1001 to 3031 belong to a three-story building with a hotel logo (see f. No. 5). This building is located closest to the road and has the shape of a horseshoe, the ends of which are directed to the road and, accordingly, it is farthest from the pool, the central building and the sea. Rooms starting from the 1st-1st floor, 2nd-2nd and 3rd-3rd.
Therefore, if you did not receive a number in the central building, and these are numbers up to 601,
but at the same time you want to be closer to the reception and the beach - the best option of the remaining ones is bungalows A, B, C, D - they are located approximately in the middle and not far from the beach and the pool with slides is nearby, relatively quieter compared to the central building, in the amphitheater , which is closer to buildings A and B, the entertainment program is from 21 to 23, so there is no noise for a long time (if anyone is interested in silence).

Now my personal experience of getting a number. Immediately I want to note that there are no bad numbers there. There are pros and cons. As I understand it, the numbers are given there, according to the principle, first the numbers from the distant building (naturally everyone wants to be closer to the main one), if a person agrees, it is in their favor, if the person is not satisfied, they change it. As many have written here, they say that $ 20 will solve all problems - you can get a room with a good view, in my case $ 20 did not help. I was offered number 1006 (as it turned out later, it was offered to everyone - it was the worst).
What I did not like at first, the door lock in this room did not really work - it was far from possible to open the door and enter the room on the first try - every time it was a problem. Secondly, the view from my room was into the courtyard and right into the fence, although it was beautifully decorated, only the courtyard had a clearly economic purpose - there were some kind of balloons and carts (generally lovely). In addition, as you can see in photo No. 6, when you go out onto the terrace of such a room, you sit on a chair and, if you are tired of the fence, you turn your head to the left, then you immediately stick your nose into your neighbor, as well as all the other neighbors on the floor. And thirdly - really very far from everything. I did not like the number - and I immediately went to change it. I thought, like everyone else here, I’ll put the money in and they’ll draw the best number for me-not-a. The administrator, albeit politely, but insistently said - there are no other numbers - if you want to change - come tomorrow - something will be free,
I will change - while you spend the night in it. I was upset - because I doubted that I could handle it myself, especially since I couldn’t demand anything, because I bought a ticket with a standard number without a specific type. Alcohol purchased in duty free somehow helped to cope with depression. The next morning, at a meeting with Turteza's guide, Khajag, by the way, 555sergio555 mentioned him in his review, I had the opportunity to resolve my issue. This very Hajag - says: people, if you have any problems - contact the guide (i. e. , him) because you pay money to relax, and not to endure something. Which I did - I went to him like that and so - the number is bad, and it doesn’t look like the administrator will fulfill his promise and change it. Okay - by 12:00 we will come to an agreement. I come up, they give me the key in the same building, it seems 2014 (I don’t remember exactly).
I run to look (the guide should wait until I return and tell me whether the room suits me or not) - I go into the room - the door is normal, but there is no safe and most importantly I go out to the balcony and... I see the same utility yard with a fence, only from a different angle only in addition to a dusty loaded track (see f. No. 7 - my side of the hull is visible) plus remoteness from everything. I run back - made my most pitiful grimace - I say no, I don’t like it and there is no safe, and in general I want a room in a bungalow. Oh, in the bungalow - and here, fortunately for me, the boss of the administrator comes up - and the guide is already negotiating with him. I get the third key with the number A10 - 1st floor of the bungalow. I run literally 100 meters, and not across the entire territory. As seen in f. Path number 2 leads directly to bungalow A, which is located opposite B. As can be seen in f. No. 8 right in front of my terrace front garden with a tree and behind it a path along which small buses drive,

who bring people from neighboring hotels to the beach (it seems to be also a minus, but the traffic there, as it turned out later, only from 9 am to 5 pm with interruptions - just when I am also absent from the room) and only then a beautifully designed fence, plus, as you can see on f . No. 9 - you don’t need to collide with neighbors as close as in a three-story building - I never saw them during the whole vacation, plus bungalow A is located just in the middle of everything. In general, I did not tempt fate - and agreed to this number - and I never regretted it and that I spent my strength and one day of vacation on the exchange too. By the time I returned to confirm that the room suits me, the guide, whose guide I saw fit to thank with 20 bucks, had already left - so the exchange cost me nothing (the administrator, in my opinion, did not deserve any gratitude - thanks to him I lost a day - I can hardly believe it that there was no better number). As seen in f. 10-11 ordinary room - TV, safe.
There is also air conditioning and a refrigerator in the room (although it did not freeze, but quite the opposite - but this is already a trifle - I practically did not use it). In general, considering that no one owed me anything, I solved the problem, and I also got almost what I wanted - I think that this hotel is not even bad at four, according to some indicators, the sea, beach, pools, restaurants - I would put 5 - but the total is still - 4. Even if it is not possible to settle in a bungalow or the main building, then, as can be seen in f. No. 5 rooms of a three-story building that do NOT overlook the courtyard - much better.
The pros and cons of the main building of the hotel were well described by 555sergio555 in his review, the only thing, in my opinion, is that the spiciest food is cooked in the Mexican restaurant SALSA.
Another, in my opinion, a very important point, many in their reviews write that taking a taxi at the hotel is very expensive. Judge for yourself,
I was going to go to Hurghada somewhere on the fourth day - I signed up for a free minibus with the guide Sergey in advance - but behind us (as it turned out there were only two of us - me and another girl) they simply didn’t come, as Sergey later said, it was our fault that the two of us missed the guide, although we stood at the entrance and asked every bus driver who drove up if he was going to Hurghada, we never met. Or maybe just because the service is free so it can not be provided - I don’t know. Okay, no, no, we discussed with the girl what to do - we decided to take a taxi from the hotel. We approach the taxi ordering desk - which is opposite the exchanger in the hotel lobby - a trip from the hotel and back - 10 bucks (only for Teztura tourists - for the other 15) there were two of us, therefore for one there and back -5 - is it expensive? The only thing is if you go like this, they have a system - the hotel taxi takes you to the center to the owner of a small shop,

who cooperates with drivers - writes down the data of the receipt (it contains the start time of the trip - the end time - the time when you should return to the owner of the shop and tell him to call the driver - so that he picks you up) then gives a business card on which the receipt number is written and the car shows a guideline where to return (toli burger bar roofing felts that I don’t remember yet, ) and the passenger goes shopping with the expectation of having time to return by the appointed date, that’s all, it’s relatively safe. But pay attention - while you are negotiating with the owner of the shop there, he will definitely impose something on you to buy - it is not worth further down the street and it is more varied and cheaper. Although, as for me, everything that you find in stores is, by and large, junk.
We ran around the shops - we were looking for a leather bag, but we hardly found it - the choice is more or less, but the dressing of leather goods is rough (Turkish leather is an order of magnitude better) and if I remember correctly - 100 dollars - maybe the girl bargained for less - but still, so that very cheap - no, and in general - they don’t drop prices too much there, as many have described - just a little bit 20 percent or less. By the way - if you buy something that the owner of the shop has, but cheaper, better hide it so that it is not visible - otherwise he threw a tantrum about us, how could you buy not from me. So my first trip went well - I had a companion there and back, I was not alone. It was not so on my second trip - I didn’t have to be a little nervous - and all because I found fellow travelers there, and my fellow travelers had to return earlier - they left in a taxi that they caught on the street - for 6 dollars - and not cheaper at all! !!
from the center to the hotel (well, why is it considered that a taxi outside the hotel is cheaper? ), but I wanted to look at everything longer and more closely - after all, it was the penultimate day. Well, I went shopping, bought souvenirs, went to the FISH HOUSE restaurant (I was told about it, it was very interesting there, it's a pity that there was little time). In general, at the appointed time I go to a familiar shop - everything is as usual - and then the owner notices that I am alone. And it all started - 20 minutes I'm waiting for the driver there (I arrived for the first time in 10-15 minutes), I'm waiting for 30 minutes - there is no driver - all this time the owner methodically goes over the ears about maybe getting married....40 minutes pass - the driver no, but it was already dark outside to the hotel 15-20 minutes by taxi -t. i. e. walk for at least an hour and it’s scary. I already went out into the street so as not to listen - after another 5 minutes - he arrives. Finally, it worked out, it was not there. The driver, and he was a young boy of about 24, also realizes that I am driving alone.
And the second series began - but already without marriage, already simpler - he began to hint that he was finishing work after 22 (and despite the fact that this is a hotel driver - I can complain, I'm not afraid), but for my happiness he is bad knew English, I pretended not to understand, and already drove up to the hotel. So the conclusion, verified by experience, is that a taxi from a hotel is not at all expensive, at least from this one, and besides, it is relatively safe for women. Even before the trip, they explained to me how to behave in minibuses (and not overpay) - as I looked at these minibuses densely packed with Arab hard workers - no, this is not for me, only a taxi, and if I go alone from the hotel.
