В этом отеле не любят отдыхающих This hotel does not like tourists

Two years ago we rested in Sharm, at the Cataract Resort, where we liked everything. We also went to Sea Gull full of optimism and good mood. My husband and I are both over fifty, so we wanted a quiet room, which we, with the help of a meeting guide, tried to ask at the reception. Then, as it turned out, it would be better not to ask. Because they settled in a room whose windows overlook the eternally humming compressors above the dining room. All requests to relocate (at least for money) turned out to be useless, so for ten days we had to enjoy the howl of the compressor and the smells from the kitchen, which, of course, thoroughly spoiled the rest. But in general - this is a large and rather stupid hotel, where no one cares about you. The beach is small and fenced on all sides. To get good seats, you have to go very early. Animation on the beach and in the evening is quite primitive. True, the food is good, and you can also eat on the beach, alcohol for lovers is poured all day in bars. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the center of Hurghada. But it should be noted that in Hurghada there is no embankment, as in Sharm, so you have to walk only along the beautiful, but very polluted main street with a huge number of cars. Pegas worked very well: both transfers and all excursions were very clear and according to plan. I really liked the trip to Luxor, to the coral island, to the Turkish bath.
But, despite all the positives, we will not go to this hotel again:
- firstly, I did not like the rather boorish attitude of the staff;

- and, secondly, it is much more pleasant to relax in a small hotel, because, as all the staff already know you by the end of the holiday, they smile and say hello. And in this hotel, vacationers, especially Russians, are simply not liked.
