VISA TO EGYPT
Attention! ! ! ! ! The cost of a visa to Egypt is $ 15, it must be purchased at a bank at the airport of arrival and before passport control. You don't have to buy a visa from guides - they ask $ 17 for it. So guides just make money on tourists who do not know. So be vigilant.
Now about the hotel…
TERRITORY
I will not say that big, I saw more, rather average. Everything is quite well-groomed and green. The advantage of the hotel is that it is located in the heart of the city and you do not have to spend a day traveling, because you can walk anywhere. Travel in local crazy minibuses costs 1 pound, for Arabs - 25 piastres; in buses large for Arabs 50 piastres, for tourists 1.5 - 2 pounds. Taxis are basically cheap, but you have to bargain. Or before you get in a taxi and then you need to give him the amount without surrender.

Or if you know how much it costs, just get in the car and go, when you arrive at the right place you must first get out of the car, and then give him money if he says that it's not enough to just turn around and leave. If the driver is a complete asshole and starts to catch up with you or even worse to threaten you, just tell him that now you will call the police and he will automatically fall behind.
ROOMS
The hotel has rooms for every taste from a two-room suite to a barn with broken furniture. As a rule, only Arabs live in good rooms. There is one main building, where the rooms are not very bad, but the only drawback is that this building has central air conditioning. There are two more buildings on the sides, left and right, they rest directly on the beach. Plus they also consist of individual air conditioning. The rooms on the second floor are better there and the furniture is better and the view is more pleasant and closer to the sea. The most normal numbers are 530-540. There is also a bungalow.
The bungalow is certainly not bad, but the windows give the impression that you live in a small church. Air conditioning there is also individual. The only drawback is that you live on the ground floor and there is a possibility that all sorts of ants and lizards will want to live in your room. I stayed in the central building on the second floor, and to be honest, I really liked it there.
PERSONNEL
The hotel administration, in my opinion, saves a lot on its staff. The waiters in the restaurant receive only about $ 50 a month, the cleaners in the rooms also up to $ 100, receptions up to $ 150. So do not be surprised, but in this hotel, each of the staff will try to make money on you. In order to settle in a normal room you have to pay the more the amount, the better the room you get.

I didn't pay anything at first, but just smiled nicely - the room was not bad, but there was nothing in it except the bed - no towels, t / b, soap, shampoo… Plus the room was on the ground floor right near the beach, but overlooking the construction. I immediately went to change and was sent to wait until morning. In the morning they have a change and of course no one knew about the agreements to change the number. They told me to wait until noon. In the afternoon, too, said to wait. As a result, I went crazy and pushed the guy on a $ 5 recess, several rooms appeared at once - one was worn out with broken furniture, the second on the second floor of the central building, which I moved to. Cleaners are also brazen to the point of numbness. If you don't leave the tip, it won't clean, it will just make your bed. If you leave a little (2-3 pounds he will forget about towels, shampoo, soap). You will leave $ 1-2 grief, you will not know, but it will keep you busy.
By the way, in the central building with cleaning it is better in the rest just not to wait for anyone or anything. Bartenders, very sensitive guys, if you show him at least a drop of rudeness about normal service, you can forget until the end of the trip. It is better to smile and thank for everything, pretending that all this is sincere. The waiters in the restaurant are also those things. It depends on them that you will drink for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also need to ask for everything from napkins to a glass of water. During my stay in the hotel, I saw only one normal waiter, his name was Mansour, but he also resigned two days before my departure. The rest will treat you normally only if you go shopping with them, of course they will take you to the shops where they will receive a percentage of your purchase. Personally, I really liked the bartender by the second pool, Muhammad.
He always gave me ice cream and beer in big glasses, although he told many that there were no more such glasses and he always ran out of ice cream. It didn't take long to frame him, it only cost a couple of heart-to-heart conversations with him.
BEACH
The beach is quite large, there were always enough sunbeds as well as awnings. Of the unpleasant thing is that there is no free bar on the beach and you have to go to the pool for a drink, as well as the fact that on the beach you are constantly harassed by someone with something, then massages, then excursions…. It's a little unpleasant. The entrance to the sea is sandy, there are jellyfish, they are very small and very complaining, but not many. There are sea urchins, but they are already clustered in the depths, and small fish - parrots - they rarely bite. There are no corals. There is no point in swimming with a mask, there is nothing to look at. It is better to take a tour on a boat with a transparent bottom (2 hours - $ 10) take on your beach, there will be no problems with the transfer, etc. , but not the guides.

There, after watching fish and corals, you can dive in the open sea and see all the charms of the Red Sea through a mask.
EDA
The hotel operates on two systems - HB and ALL. It is better not to take everything included, because it does not actually work there. All-inclusive can be safely equated to full board and no more. They feed only in one place, all other establishments are paid. The dining room is of course miserable. Breakfast is not bad, if you come earlier, you can get only fried scrambled eggs or omelets. There are toasts and a very large selection of croissants and pastries, 2 types of compote, cottage cheese, salads, cereals, milk porridge. Lunch - soup of one or two types, salads, at least 4 types of sauces, potatoes, pasta, vegetables, meat and fish + sweet table. The choice of fruit was not large - melons, oranges, dates, watermelons, fruits that grow in the hotel - tart and not tasty.
Most of all I liked the dinner, I never missed it, it was a lot like lunch, but the meat or chicken or something else is fried with you - everything is very tasty, especially squid in batter just atas. If you think the portion is small, they will give a supplement if requested.
SWIMMING POOLS
Pools in the hotel 2. One near the central building and there for some reason almost no one swims and the second most popular near the beach. Near the second there is a shower and sunbeds.
FOR CHILDREN
For the little ones there is a swimming pool and a playground. They are very bored there. And in the evening they hold a children's disco.
ANIMATION
Unobtrusive, rather boring. Although the guys are trying. In the morning gymnastics, then aqua aerobics at sea, booze, volleyball, dancing on the beach, evening show by the pool and a disco from 11 pm in the central building.
ARABS
I have nothing wrong with them and I respect everyone. But there are too many of them resting in the hotel.

For our people, of course, it is strange that they (Arabs) bathe in their clothes, both in swimming pools and in the sea. The ideal time to stay there is August 22 - September 22, they have Ramadan and they are simply not there, except for staff. By the way, I discovered Egypt in the summer, which is quite normal, although I thought that the amount of heat would go down - nothing like that. Although I like winter better.
Hurghada
I would not call Hurghada a complete resort town, it is already a full-fledged city. It is worth resting in Sharm, everything is there for tourists, and somehow calmer.
Guide to the hotel
Muhammad Al Qadi is a guide from Coral Travel, just a moron, he doesn't decide anything if you don't buy him a tour, he builds a smart guy, but he looks more like a sucker. All his excursions are many times more expensive than in the city, where you can also bargain. By the way, on the beach an excursion to a paradise island costs $ 20, you can take 2 for $ 35.
REGINA does not correspond to the 4 stars that she draws for herself, remember - this is a solid 3. If you are not picky, then you can die well here.
