I want to start with the pros of this hotel, as for some reason most see only the negative! The hotel has a chic territory with abundant vegetation, which is constantly cared for, there is an excellent sandy entry into the sea (the lagoon is natural, so the water is not muddy), there is an entry into the dead coral (there are fish, but almost all are gray in the color of the dead coral), the hotel is located in the best place of Hrugada - in the center of Sekkala, to the hotel bus stop and bring everyone who asks to bring them to the city center from other hotels. Opposite Regina is McDonald's, near CFS, Burger King, Supermarket with fixed prices, hundreds of restaurants and shops, House of Cotton "Karkusha")). The hotel has free wi-fi, so you didn’t have to spend money on mobile communications, a very good playground for children!! ! I was in Egypt 5 times, so I didn’t go to all inclusive (it’s somehow not fun to overeat) and to an inexpensive hotel, which I never regretted,
because I got a vacation on the magnificent Red Sea in the center of the resort region of sunny Egypt at a price lower than a vacation in the very outback of the Krasnodar Territory (where I remind you of rooms the size of 2x2, there is no food, a few kilometers to the beach of the dirty sea, etc. ). As for the Regina Resort Hotel, it once received its 4 stars (as evidenced by a proud sign at the reception), but since then it has worn out a lot, so even a good room (which you can get for $ 10 invested in your passport upon check-in or for 50 when changing after check-in) was very old and unsightly. Beds and furniture need to be changed there (which has already begun to be done in some rooms), plumbing is also old-fashioned, a TV (which caught 2 Russian channels - RTR and First) without a remote control and a small one. We had a bungalow which was on the right side of the hotel,
therefore, the music from the nearby disco "Papos Ministry of Sound Beach" was not heard at all (others complained). The old furniture in the room did not bother at all, since we did not come to the room, but to the sea (where we spent the whole day) and to Hurghada (where we spent the evening). As for half board meals: breakfast was always exactly the same - scrambled eggs to your taste, sausages stewed with vegetables, local stewed beans, mashed potatoes, sausages and cheeses, toast with omelet, pastries, breakfast cereals, chopped fruits (melon, banana, apple or pear, a little pomegranate), salads, sauces, UPI, tea, coffee; dinner - salads, sauces, pastries, potatoes (1-2 types), pasta (1-2 types), rice, chicken (cooked differently every day), meat (different every day), fish, signature dish (maybe shawarma , squid, something grilled or deep-fried), soups, oranges or melon, sweets (quite varied and tasty). The food is quite even nothing,

you just need to choose wisely and calculate your strengths and taste preferences (there are 3 different side dishes and all types of sweets at a time is not at all necessary). There are no queues for food, BUT there is a queue for plates, which the hotel clearly lacks. Since we were not allowed to drink for dinner, we calmly carried a bottle of soda with us. As for cooking, everything is standard for Egypt, although there are surprises (for example, in the form of an overly spicy ingredient in a dish in which you don’t expect it). The food was very enough, so we didn’t almost regret that we took half board.
Animation at the hotel is standard - volleyball, butch, aerobics, exercises, evening shows, etc. , but she didn’t care much for me (except for volleyball). There is also a disco, but I have never seen it.
The service at the hotel is working fine - once the light broke in the entire bungalow - they did it in 20 minutes, they cleaned it perfectly,
bed linen was changed every day (maybe because they left a few pounds of baksheesh every day).
In general, the rest was a success for all 100! And I advise this hotel to everyone who is not going for a European-style renovation in the room and not get drunk, but goes to the sea, the sun and wants to take a walk in the center of Hurghada.
