First, about the good: the territory is large, green, beautiful flower beds and amazing trees, like in the Garden of Eden. All fences are braided with blooming bougainvillea. The beach is good, clean on the territory, the gardeners work around the clock: they water, trim the ficuses. We were lucky that there were no mosquitoes. And whoever writes about cockroaches and rats is simply disingenuous.

I don’t know what those who write that there is nothing to eat eat at home, but there was a lot of food and there was always a choice: soups, fish or chicken, sometimes meat, there was pizza, eggs, sausage, cheese, pastries, rice, potatoes, pasta , there are only two types of fruit, but, comrades, how many types of fruit can you master at dinner?

They didn't like the sweets - solid puddings, something like sweet snot (but this is my personal opinion, many liked it), but everyone liked the chocolate cake and coconut balls.

For breakfast, they cook scrambled eggs with vegetables right in front of you, you can ask with cheese or without tomatoes, or with tomatoes, onions and peppers, for lovers of a healthy diet there were live yoghurts and all kinds of muesli. My boyfriend is a meat eater, but he had enough. For the price we paid for this vacation, there is absolutely no desire to go to the top five, if you don’t like the food and don’t have enough fruit, you can buy fruit in the city and go to sea restaurants and not overpay for a ticket. We went to El Joker, for $ 40 (4 people) they brought us: squid in batter, grilled shrimp, pita bread, sauces, vegetable salads and clam soup, we brought beer, we were allowed to drink it there and they gave us glasses. We mastered only half, and the rest was wrapped up for us and we finished the next day at lunch.

We rested in late January - early February 2007 with a company of 4 people (two couples), took half board.
We were the first time, and friends the third time in Egypt.
Of course, local residents pester even next to a two-meter man, invite them to a disco, ask for a kiss, but if you politely refuse, they will not become impudent. The sellers said that we were in a hurry to the hotel or that everyone had already bought it.

Guys, IT IS WE who came to them, not they to us, and we need to respect their traditions! They try as best they can, but in a country where sex is tight and everyone is selling what else to expect? Each person has two options if he cannot influence the course of events: suffer or get the most out of life!

The furniture is a little old, but the beds are comfortable and there was always hot water, they didn’t pay extra for the room, they lived in a two-story building on the second floor. The windows overlooked a side street, where there is a construction site and a cafe, there was no noise, or maybe it was, but we didn’t notice, it’s even funny to watch how construction is going on in another country and how people live. Well, we just didn’t know that we needed to play tricks and be dissatisfied with the number, but we thought that we were lucky.
I then read the reviews and realized that people were furious because of such a number and paid extra $ 20. Only slept in the room.


We set ourselves up for a good rest and got a lot of positive emotions: the sea, the sun, summer after winter...only the last day spoiled the whole picture when we returned from the beach and did not find our laptop in the room (under the mattress of the bed, on which no one slept and she was covered) mac ibook G4 (who understands, understands what an expensive and cool beech it is), my boyfriend's old mobile phone ericsson 520, the price is $ 10, if not $ 5 (I specially put it in a bag with dirty laundry on the bottom of the bag to check whether they will steal it or not) and all the laces that were from two cameras, I don’t even know how they didn’t steal the charger from the phones. There was a "do not disturb" sign on the door at that time. The hotel has a safe at the reception, the size of a spaghetti box, only for documents and that's it.

Going to the police is another story.
The police chief is a complete Mr. , at first he smiled politely at us, and then he spoke with his friend and his son, not paying attention to us, and when we left, after talking with an interpreter (few people in the police speak English normally), laughed at our experiences when tears of resentment flowed from me. Then I got angry and asked to be shown how our bellhop was being interrogated, however, they took us away and showed everything.

But ordinary employees: officers and translators are good and sympathetic people who, after the end of their working day, took care of us and sympathized. The Egyptians are pleasant people, if you are friendly with them. When we went to the police, the driver took pity on us, took it not expensive and offered his help, without baksheesh, to the police, we thanked and refused, but it was nice.
The policeman who was in charge of our case asked us to send the serial numbers of the stolen items through the tour operator, but the Ukrainian "Turtess" did not deign to answer our letter.
The conclusion is - WANT TO REST - DO NOT TAKE VALUABLE THINGS: video camera, laptop, handheld, or keep everything with you! Is there anyone else who has been to Egypt and wants to rest in the Crimea? It's dirty, expensive and full of rudeness and no one complains!
