We went to an oriental restaurant - we do not recommend it to anyone, disgusting.
4. Sea and beach. The sea is clean, of unusual color; they say that the color of the water is only in Makadi. The beach is clean, well-groomed, the entry into the sea is excellent, slippers are not needed there. At 25-30m from the shore there is a live reef with fish, it is fenced with white buoys. The water was cold this time of year, but would that stop the Russians? We finally made it to the reef. Connoisseurs say that it is not as big and magnificent as the reef in Marsa Alam, but I have not been there, I can’t say anything about this. But I really liked it, I filmed a bunch of fish on video, and even now, when I review the footage, I feel an extraordinary feeling of beauty and unity with nature.
5. Pools. There is a large cold pool, a small heated pool and a no-fuss children's paddling pool. The pools are clean, "vacuumed" them every evening. There are a lot of loungers. The towels are good.
6. Territory. This is a separate song. One word - BEAUTIFUL!!! ! Even if you stay in another Makadi hotel, still go to the Iberotel for a tour and be sure to take a camera. You'll like it!
7. Children's leisure. There is a children's room. During our stay there were two women working there. One German woman is clearly of a Nordic character, the second is our girl Oksana, an enthusiast in her field and many thanks to her for her kindness, positive attitude, good attitude towards children and organizing children's discos! (in extreme cases, if you want, you can bring your own, we didn’t wear it). The reef, unfortunately, is not the same anymore, it is dying a little, but there are still a lot of living creatures, stingrays, fish, octopuses, mollusks, crabs, but there is nothing good near the coast, so that small children cannot frolic at low tide (but for those who are older, you can take a catamaran on our beach, it’s free and go on it for an hour and a half away from the coast to a depth, there is just something to see (tip: take plenty of fresh water and smear cream properly, you can burn very badly in an hour in the sea). In general, a good vacation for a family with children or the elderly , young people will probably be bored.

I must say right away that we traveled with Turtess, although we usually travel with Teztur. But in Kyiv, this hotel sells only Turtess, which is why they decided to change their habit. Usually a child under 2 years old is not paid (only 50-70 dollars airport tax). So we went before. We paid for a double room, the child slept with me. Just as always, I found the hotel and dates we needed in the "tour selection" on the tour operator's website. Chose number DBl. Prepared money for payment. But then the tour calls me. agency and says that we looked at the price incorrectly... it was necessary to indicate the presence of a child and his age in the selection. Which is what I did. As a result, the price turned out to be 600 dollars more expensive. Long digested information, but still decided to go. As I have now learned that such tour selection systems fail and automatically count the child after 2 years, no matter what age you indicated. What is nice, the air conditioner was already on in the room... and the heat, I'll tell you, is not sickly on the street. Moreover, they settled on the first floor, which was very good, since we have a stroller (last time in Sharm we had to carry the stroller to the third floor and back for 2 weeks). there was already a crib in the room, which I asked to be removed, since my son sleeps on a regular bed (while we went to dinner, the bed had already been removed).
They settled us in the 4th building. It is very close to all infrastructure and 2 minutes to the sea. But I'll tell you that having explored the entire territory of the hotel - we never found the "village". even the most distant 9th building is very conveniently located, from it a maximum of 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurant, pool, etc.
ROOM: We liked the room. Large terrace, view of the pool, but you can only hear it, because "in front of the nose" is a large wall of greenery. Flat TV, 2 Russian channels, a filled minibar (there is a menu that says what is paid, what is not. Replenished every day). There were 2 more bottles of wine, but there was a label hanging that they were paid. Kettle, cups, glasses, corkscrew, tea, coffee, sugar. There was a bag with a receipt for the laundry (which we successfully used every day). The air conditioner worked well. I can't say he didn't make noise. He worked as usual, but did not interfere with sleep at all. Ants constantly crawled into the room from the balcony. They did not interfere with us, since they did not keep any food in the room. And the month of July is hot : ) The main criterion was - no more than 5 minutes walk to the sea (after all, it’s not very pleasant to stomp with a child in the sun). I have already traveled to Egypt 10 times, lived in Cairo - I know the country from the inside, so we didn’t need any excursions, impressions, etc. Only the sea and passive rest.
I must say right away that we traveled with Turtess, although we usually travel with Teztur. But in Kyiv, this hotel sells only Turtess, which is why they decided to change their habit. Usually a child under 2 years old is not paid (only 50-70 dollars airport tax). So we went before. We paid for a double room, the child slept with me. Just as always, I found the hotel and dates we needed in the "tour selection" on the tour operator's website. Chose number DBl. Prepared money for payment. But then the tour calls me. agency and says that we looked at the price incorrectly... it was necessary to indicate the presence of a child and his age in the selection. Which is what I did. As a result, the price turned out to be 600 dollars more expensive. Long digested information, but still decided to go. As I have now learned that such tour selection systems fail and automatically count the child after 2 years, no matter what age you indicated. Moreover, they settled on the first floor, which was very good, since we have a stroller (last time in Sharm we had to carry the stroller to the third floor and back for 2 weeks). there was already a crib in the room, which I asked to be removed, since my son sleeps on a regular bed (while we went to dinner, the bed had already been removed).
They settled us in the 4th building. It is very close to all infrastructure and 2 minutes to the sea. But I'll tell you that having explored the entire territory of the hotel - we never found the "village". even the most distant 9th building is very conveniently located, from it a maximum of 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurant, pool, etc.

A normal beach with a rather interesting coral reef 30 meters from the shore. In general, normal coral reefs in the Hurghada area are rare. But this one is a rare exception. I hung on it for over an hour. I do not recommend going to these parts in July, it is too hot. At the same time, the water in the sea in the morning is not a comfortable enough temperature. There is nothing to do in Makadi in the evening. In addition to your hotel, you can only go to a disco and animation in the neighboring ones or ride a "train". Sometimes they could not accommodate in the dining room, but this is not surprising, because there were 6 of us. Sometimes there was not enough beer (there was one foam and there was a queue). It would also be nice to get the hotel its own pontoon. In general, we can recommend this hotel for a quiet family holiday. My score is 4.5 out of five.

We took an individual transfer from the airport (that is, four of us traveled in a small bus) and arrived before everyone else, since from the very beginning we wanted either a connection room or two rooms nearby, but in Moscow we could not confirm such accommodation. As soon as we went to the reception, we were offered cold juice and rooms 1011.1013 and showed them on the hotel map, and when we said that we wanted two rooms next to each other, after 3 minutes we were offered two neighboring rooms on the first floor in the second sector, they showed these rooms on the map and said how much time to the sea, to the main restaurant and to the pool.
And all this at no additional cost. Immediately warned that the hotel does not have to pay for anything. Luggage was taken from us immediately after the exit of their bus to be taken to the room, and after we agreed to such accommodation, they sent us to Tarasina for a late breakfast. There were very appetizing buns and orange juice. Later we were taken to our rooms 2118 and 2119. Fruit, a bottle of white wine, slippers, bathrobes and everything else were waiting for us in the room... The location turned out to be very successful: next to the pool, in the middle between the main restaurant and the sea, the windows overlooked a small garden. It is difficult to find shortcomings in rooms and accommodation, but I will try: there were a couple of annoying mosquitoes and one morning we were woken up by a dove who loudly called his dove. At first, we were very surprised that there were very few people everywhere: a couple of Germans swam in the pool, sunbeds on the beach were empty, tables in the main restaurant were always free.
Even at the evening show, half the tables remained free. But after the first of June, people drove up, there were a little more people, but still there was always enough space for everyone, there was no need to occupy tables or sunbeds in advance. At what time you would not come to the pool or the beach there will always be free umbrellas with sunbeds. Pleased with the absence of constantly rumbling music on the beach or near the pool. Music near the pool only when the animators do water aerobics or something like that. There are animators, they take care of you, they call you, but they don’t bother you, if you just want to turn from side to side, they won’t bother you like a vegetable in the garden. Now about food. We ate at the main restaurant, didn’t go a la carte, drinks during the day from the bars on the beach and by the pool. Ice cream after 12 near the pool and at dinner, one evening there was no ice cream at dinner, my 7-year-old daughter went to ask “where? ”and after 5 minutes he brought her a bowl of ice cream of all varieties to the table, the same story repeated itself on our last dinner at the hotel. There are no crowds or lines. On the beach, free rental of catamarans, canoes, masks, flippers. The entrance to the sea is gentle sand, there are very few corals, that is, there are fewer fish than in Sharm.
There is a diving center nearby, but the prices are exactly 2 times higher than in Hurghada. On the beach ride horses and camels $10.
