Flew to this hotel as a couple in July 2018 via Tez Tour. In Kyiv, the flight was delayed for 2 hours (windrose), all passengers were sitting inside the plane, it was inconvenient. Upon arrival, we were met by large and comfortable buses from Tez Tour with Wi-Fi.
They settled us immediately (we arrived around 23.00), they also fed us a late dinner.
Standard room overlooking the garden, we liked it, the room has all the amenities. The air conditioner worked at 100%, the furniture is not new, but in excellent condition, the bathroom has a "tired" repair (the bath is ordinary, but with a shower, inaccurately painted). 2 minutes to the beach and pool, very convenient.
Meals: monotonous breakfast, long queues for omelettes and pasta (during the day), fruits - apples, pears, strange melons - completely tasteless, dates, grapes and watermelon, terrible potatoes, it is not clear how they spoil it. And the main disadvantage - there are no places! ! It takes a long time to find a table to eat...
The waiters can't cope with the flow of people, they don't have time to clean the tables. Sometimes we had to take our own cutlery and napkins. The food was good, grilled meat, fish. I would like more seafood, but there were very few of them ...Chemical juices, it is better to drink water)) The waiters bring wine, beer and so on at the request without any problems.
Beach: Gorgeous! We chose this hotel only because of the presence of a sandy beach, a smooth entry into the water, the low tide is almost not noticeable. There are few reefs, but they are still there, that is, you can take a mask and look at beautiful fish, hedgehogs and crabs : ) Coral shoes are not needed for this hotel.
Internet: It was possible to buy a SIM card at the airport, free Wi-Fi in the hotel is available only in the lobby and on the street next to the lobby. It catches perfectly, there were no problems with the connection despite the large number of vacationers.
We went on an excursion from the hotel guide Tez Tour to Luxor and on a free (travel) shopping tour.
They fell for the guide’s advertisement that it would be much cheaper there, no one forces you to buy, etc. In fact, they took you to a store where prices are slightly higher than in hotel shops, and in a natural oils store, sellers swoop in like kites. We do not recommend this trip, there were unpleasant memories.
The trip to Luxor was interesting, we saw the temples, there was a walk along the Nile and a banana plantation. BUT it was very hot, the temperature was +42 degrees! There is nothing to breathe, I wanted to get back to the cool bus as soon as possible ...And the trip takes longer than the guide said (we left back at 15.30 - arrived at the hotel at 20.30). The reason is the speed limit, constant checkpoints and speed bumps. In each temple there were armed soldiers who followed us on our heels - it was very creepy.
We do not recommend taking excursions on your own, because the area is not familiar, guys with weapons ...
In general, we recommend the hotel if you want a relaxing holiday with a sandy beach and a calm sea : )
