About everything in order.
Stayed at this hotel in early September 2017.
We spontaneously gathered on vacation on a last minute trip, we also invited friends who had not been to Egypt before. Reviews about this hotel were from reliable sources - a colleague rested in it last time in April 2014. She was satisfied.
We arrived late in the evening around 24.00, check-in at the reception was very fast. But, having opened the door to our room, we were simply horrified: the smell was unbearable, some mold and sewage, a separate wardrobe, and the door from the wardrobe is behind it, an earth-colored bed with someone's hair, a hair dryer in the bathroom with bare wires in general , towels in some stains (I'll add a photo)....The room of friends was nearby in a similar state - stink, the shower does not work.
They sounded the alarm, the cleaner came, looked, sniffed and began to call someone...

In general, I had to urgently return to the reception. Not only we from the newly arrived guests returned there, they had a similar problem. The receptionist said that he had no other rooms available, but the managers of the travel agency that sold the hotel to us were aware of the state of the hotel and should have conveyed this information to us. "There is no general manager now, there is no director, tomorrow there will be a representative of the tour operator and you will find out with him what you bought. "
Since there is nothing to breathe in the room, we decided that we would have to spend the night on sofas at the reception. We went to the room for things.
But the "surprise" was not alone.
Needed water. They said that it can be dialed in the "restaurant", there is just a late dinner there. As it turned out, slices of 15 pieces of sausage and cheese spread on a tray (this despite the fact that another 20 guests drove into the hotel with us), picked grapes and wrinkled cucumbers - these are the dishes of a late dinner. Passions ran high. Walking along the hall of the "main restaurant" to the water cooler, the shoes stuck to the tiles on the floor. . . The shock intensified, but I had to somehow survive until the morning. . .
Silently they came to the room for things, the thought that they needed to somehow live here for a week did not give rest. Suddenly the phone rang and a voice said that the numbers would be changed after all. It felt like they were being bullied. We were moved to the second floor, it stank a little less, everything worked in the bathroom. We slept with the balcony door wide open.
Early in the morning we went to breakfast, it's tin, the restaurant is dirty, the napkins are covered with sparrows that sit on the tables, they eat bread, the tables are in some kind of old fat, the cooks are in greasy dirty robes, like at a service station. Kind of had breakfast.
After listening to our impressions, the hotel guide Ragab, who turned out to be quite an adequate guy, said that he understood what we were talking about and offered to move us to other normal rooms. But given the state of the hotel as a whole - complete unsanitary conditions and dirt, even the central entrance door is all slick, greasy, we wanted to move to another hotel. The guide said that you need to wait for an indefinite period of time for a response from the hotels, since they have the Eid al-Adha holiday, no one is working.

In general, we were moved, for the third time, to a normal room, where everything worked. They began to wait. The food is disgusting, only portions of the cook lay down dishes in which meat and fish are present, pastries are stale.
Of the pluses - a beautiful, large territory, gardeners work like bees, and the sea, an unusual, beautiful reef.
After three nights out of seven, we received a response from a couple of hotels with offers, of course not free, we had to pay extra for the remaining days of almost $ 300 from the family and who knows what awaited us there. We decided to go on an excursion for this money.
In short, if you need "such a vacation", then you are here.
In the same bay they rested in the Hilton in 2014 - "heaven and earth".
Perhaps the crisis in their country also contributed, but at least this hotel just needs to be cleaned.
