We spent a week from 03/08/2019 to 03/15/19 at the Grand Oasis Resort and were very satisfied. The strengths of the hotel: staff, very green area, location, quality food. This is a hotel where everyone tries to make you feel welcome. Where from the very beginning, from the reception, they try to please, take into account your wishes: at our request, we were looking for a quiet room with a double bed (since we originally allocated a twin with two beds and a view of the pool, but we didn’t even go to see it) and yet we found a beautiful room at the end of the building, which was ideal: as far as possible from the evening animation, and the area is simply huge. The rest of the rooms are also spacious, but a little smaller, and with balconies or terraces on the ground floor. Although there was even a small problem with the water in the room, it was fixed very quickly and correctly, without the slightest inconvenience to us.
The hotel manager is often present in the hotel lobby. He and the Guest Relations girls constantly communicate with guests, ask for opinions about the hotel, whether the food is tasty, what shortcomings anyone sees... They communicate in Russian, English, I think these are not all foreign languages ​ ​ that the staff speaks. We were escorted to the airport like relatives, the very warm atmosphere of the reception itself.
LOCATION. Grand Oasis Resort is located in Sharks Bay, where some of the best coral reefs of Sharm El Sheikh are located and this is a windless bay, although you can’t call the area windless, but in the heat the breeze is great.

The hotel is located within walking distance from Soho, where you can walk in the evening, shop, take pictures, visit restaurants, in most of which Grand Oasis Resort guests receive a 25% discount (since the hotel, like Soho, belongs to the Savoy). Also in Soho there is a free shuttle service from the hotel, although walking distance is very close. And beyond Soho, shops also continue. In general, there is civilization nearby
ROOMS, TERRITORY, The Grand Oasis Resort has recently reopened, this is the third month of its operation. Renovation in the rooms is still ongoing, but as imperceptibly as possible to the eyes of the guests.
The hotel lobby, the main restaurant are completely refurbished, new tiles, new furniture, and everything looks brand new. The hotel rooms after renovation, this is a small cosmetic repair and updating of mattresses, textiles, furniture reconstruction, plumbing is not new, but of a good level. All the little things, like dishes, towels, bedding, brand new. During our visit, only the central building was working - cluster A, B, but even in it, cosmetic repairs in the rooms continued in some places, which did not interfere at all.
This hotel has a beautiful green area, designer garden plantings, it is very often difficult to understand that you are in Egypt, it is so green here - this is all thanks to the constantly working team of gardeners.
NUTRITION. In the Grand Oasis Resort, although there is only one, there is a wonderful restaurant on the third floor of the central building with a balcony overlooking the sea and pools. The restaurant team is of a very high level: chefs, waiters, bartenders, each of whom tries to please you, asks if it was delicious, tries to remember your preference, joke with those who appreciate it, help you feel at your best on vacation. The food is delicious and varied. There are fast food afternoon snacks on the beach and by the pool.

BEACH. On the beach during the day, the wonderful chef Mustafa Mohammed. In general, the Grand Oasis Resort has a beautiful beach, a good coral reef. You can swim only from a short plastic pontoon, but on the right and left there are small sandy inlets to splash knee-deep. The pontoon is comfortable, with two ladders and railings. Like all the staff, polite and attentive beach staff. We are lovers of swimming with fins and masks, we were happy to swim in both directions from the pantone for at least half an hour, especially beautifully to the right (where it is fenced with buoys, Tula is better not to swim without fins) opposite the closed Royal Rojana hotel. We saw a lot of large fish, small stingrays, a moray eel flashed in the distance. The beach itself is sandy and tiered, so you can always find a relatively secluded place with a beautiful view of the sea. The only thing is that the renovation has not yet reached the sunbeds on the beach, they are old wooden, but the mattresses are quite decent and new beach towels, which are issued on the beach in the morning (at 08.00 the point with towels was already working until the last client).
ANIMATION. It is impossible not to mention the animation team: Julia, Kristina, Max and other guys are wonderful instigators, they started their program from 10.00 am on the beach until late in the evening with a daily mini-disco for children and entertainment, competitions by the pool, once a week an oriental show with guest artists.
The level is very high, it was nice to watch how the animators work with children, how they teach dancing and yoga, although we did not participate in the entertainment, because we swam so much during the day that we swung without waves.
In general, the hotel staff that we met: reception, restaurant, beach, animators, gardeners, security are great fellows and you can feel a high level and an individual approach to each guest. .
Now a little on NANSA. We had an early check-in, arrived at the Grand Oasis Resort at about 08.00, invited to receive bracelets by the time breakfast was over at 10.30, we just had time to swim, and together with the bracelets prepared the rooms for check-in. On the day of departure, it is quite hard at 12.00 to return the room and cut off the bracelets, follow the rules. Cleaning in the rooms probably depends on the human factor, but in our compartment, for the sake of appearance, they sometimes forgot to put water or detergents in the room, they didn’t spin any swans every day, tips do not affect the quality of work and the appearance of swans.
During our stay, the hotel was quite spacious, as some of the rooms are closed, but we like it. The only thing that could overshadow is the wild and boorish vacationers, both from the neighboring country and our compatriots, fortunately, there were few of them.
