Good day to all. So we decided to make our contribution, because. when choosing a tour, my husband and I relied in many respects on the reviews of the "turpravdovites". Therefore, we will try to be as objective as possible, so that it would be easier for other vacationers.
I would like to emphasize once again that how your vacation will turn out depends on your mood: successful or not very good. Everything was fine with my husband and I. The organization of recreation was approached responsibly, but without fanaticism, otherwise we would be tired without having time to rest. We independently drove through a number of travel agencies in the city, decided on the range of hotels of interest to us, and realized that, in principle, the prices are the same. At home, of course, they went to the Turpravda website, guided by the most terrible reviews about hotels. The circle narrowed and the choice fell on Tropicana Grand Oasis 4*.
Let's make a reservation that initially we chose a hotel with practically no animation, preferably on the 1st line and, of course, not at an exorbitant price. We were primarily interested in excursions, so the hotel was required: a picturesque reef, a decent room, "edible" food, and peace and quiet to recover from the excursions.

Basic information:
- the reef is excellent, the fish, sorry for the pun, the sea, the bridge 10-15 m long, in principle there were enough sunbeds for everyone. Our number was in cluster G, i. e. 3 min. and you are at sea.
- The airport is close, but not at all disturbing. Airplanes are not heard. On the way to Soho, we all tried to take pictures of them.
- there really is a construction site, through the hotel, but it did not bother us. At all.
- the food is quite monotonous, but everything is edible. Dishes were not always enough, especially cups and especially in the morning, but they quickly brought them. By the way, they didn’t wash it all very carefully, so be careful.
- bottled water was provided free of charge and in the required quantities.
- of the a la carte restaurants, I liked the Italian one the most, in the east it is very smoky, in the fish one - not tasty, European in general, along the pool and almost the same dinner as on the 2nd floor.
- the animation was practically not seen or heard, but I repeat, the room was far from the main building (the animation was carried out near the pool near the main building) and we had excursions with night trips.
- rooms with old furniture, linen and towels are also quite worn out, there was practically no cleaning in the rooms, whether you leave a tip or not: they cleaned the trash can, made the bed and stubbornly folded towels in the bathroom, which I, in turn, stubbornly hung on the veranda, to dry after shower

- Soho Square is really beautiful, especially if you have already traveled around Egypt and see how the majority lives. It is located 10-15 min. walk from the hotel, there is free Wi-Fi, and within 2 days after arriving in Egypt you can shop at the local Duty Free (open from 20:00). We compared prices for alcohol - lower by $ 4-6 than in Kiev, Israel and Egypt. Otherwise: a lot of different sculptures, a singing fountain. Shopping here will not work, alas. For souvenirs (papyrus, oils, figurines, stones), it is better to go to the Old City.
Here is the whole picture in general terms. We hope our truth will be useful.
