And now about the hotel. The hotel is run, no one is repairing it, the stairwells are lined with plasterboard that falls off (2nd floor) fortunately, the slab collapsed, no one was injured, the columns crumble, the fittings are visible. Behind the hotel is a large wasteland with garbage. The hotel area is being cleaned. All the equipment that is on the territory: sunbeds, torn canopies, dilapidated, in the center is a broken rag column, I do not even know its purpose, probably as a rarity. Teztura guides live in this hotel, you can consult them on any issue, because the staff at the reception does not know Russian.
Now about the room.

The doors in the rooms are sagging, to close them you need to use force, if someone closes them, the walls and ceiling tremble with a crash. The ascetic interior of the chandelier is not working, the light bulbs hang on the wires as if on a building, the room is dim, gloomy. there is always the smell of dampness no matter how much we ventilate, the curtains on the windows are tarpaulin gray, the TV is shabby, the remote control is without batteries, in some rooms there was no TV. Furniture type "60 years", painted with oil paint, no refrigerator, air conditioning installed on the floor works like a tractor, dust flies from all sides. The bathroom is similar to the public one at the station and it is the best, the pipes are flowing, the tap water is rusty, the warm water has always been. The bed is dirty, most likely they do not wash it, but simply change it after the previous vacationers, hair on the sheet, lipstick, etc. , the towels were in the same condition. Cleaning in the room is carried out 3 times in 7 days.
Toilet paper, soap was given on the second day, although promised in 5 minutes. There were no clothes hangers.
About the dining room. At once I want to warn the buffet NO, everything in portions, spoons, forks, cups are badly washed, they lie on the table all day, the tablecloths are stained, probably never washed. Food is monotonous in the morning: 6 rings of cucumbers, tomatoes, triangular cream cheese, jam, a piece of cheese a little less than a matchbox, fried egg, tea or coffee with sugar, bread (flatbread), in the evening: soup (with vermicelli, beans) or just broth , salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, peppers), rice with ham, fish, or beef, fruit a quarter of an orange cut into 2-3 slices, 2 figs or 2 rings of guava and bread. I'm not fed up, you can ask for a supplement, but you can't always wait. When we went on a tour, we were not given a dry ration, most of all it was the work of our guide from whom we did not take a tour, but that's another story.
Near the hotel a 5 minute walk there is a bank rate of 1 dollar 5.45 Egyptian pounds. Also near the hotel there is a supermarket "24/7" here you can buy cheaper, fruit cheaper in the old town (old market) bananas, oranges, dates, strawberries, guava at 5 pounds per kg, are not traded.
About the beach. There is no beach. The beach of Marhaba Beach near the old town is assigned to them by contract. There is no free bus. At your own expense, go to the beach (take a blue minibus with a white stripe at the bottom, the fare is 1 pound Egyptian) to go 10-15 minutes. Marhaba Beach is a bay where water does not circulate, the water is dirty, there are dead fish, at the bottom of the mule. Towel free do not give -5 pounds. We walked along this beach to the wild there and corals and fish, only the shore is a bit dirty with construction debris concrete slabs.

We had all this (the guide offered us for $ 180 but they have a trip every day), and for $ 85 only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you need to submit documents in 3 days. Excursion to Mount Moses and the Monastery of St. Catherine can be arranged for $ 25 (turtes $ 35) but here I admit the tour is bad, the group was Russian-English. the guide who accompanied the mountain did not know Russian well.
Conclusion: as soon as we settled in it was awful, we went to the hotel in the evening reluctantly, it was scary to touch anything, some people immediately re-registered in another hotel "Sun Rice" for an additional $ 30. But over time, you get used to such conditions, given how much we paid. They only came to the hotel to eat and spend the night.
