First of all I want to say that this was my 6th trip to this hotel in 3 years. Here is the review that I left after the 1st visit - https://www.turpravda.com/eg/sharm_el_sheyh/Coral_Sea_Holiday_Resort_Aqua_Park-h19172-r284807.html The penultimate time we were in this hotel was on the Independence Day of Ukraine, that is, in August 2020. There was already a QUARANTINE at that time, but the hotel was still on top.
The price has decreased, but it would be better if it was more expensive, as before, but better.
I'll start with the positives that remain:
- huge green area
- there are two-story villas with private pools and a jacuzzi (for $40-50 it's really possible to stay in them)
- the staff is sewn up, but since everyone knows us by face and by name, we were treated very well
What was a weak point for many before:
- shallow beach, long pontoon, no coral reef
- weak animation (the hotel has never been a party place)
What's messed up:
1) Food and drink

- Alcohol here was not elite, but quite decent:
- bottled beer, carbonated drinks (cola, tonic, etc. from bottles not from a siphon), natural juice in bags - remained, but only those who have been here know about juices (they seem to be hidden)
- strong alcohol is impossible to drink, we tried gin and tonic - it was poison
-- the wine doesn't even look like wine, I don't know what it was, but I couldn't take more than 1 sip. Previously, there were a lot of Italians in the hotel (I don’t know exactly, but imagine that all the animators and waiters speak Italian and English, and very little Russian), respectively, and the wine was good dry: white, pink, red . In August last year, there was the first bell - the wine became semi-sweet, but still tolerable.
- under the Italians there was natural coffee (free of charge) not only at the bar, but also in the main restaurant. Now every other day there was an americano in a teapot only for breakfast and you had to hunt for it.
- the choice and quantity of food has become not only much less, but its quality has decreased significantly. They also gave out all in scanty portions: 5 olives in one hand (olives, by the way, were 2 times in total). Approximately, as in a very budget 4 *. For breakfast - yesterday's dinner. All in all, the food was pretty bad.
- after visiting the a la carte restaurant, all 4 had stomach ache (my husband vomited right away in the evening, and 3 had diarrhea)
- you can not go to a la carte restaurants, it became terrible
2) Cleaning
- Previously, the rooms were cleaned every day and the bed was changed every other day - forget about it, we barely wiped the dust 2 times in 6 days
- Previously, there were a lot of towels (8-10 pieces for two) and they were changed every day. This time there were exactly 4 towels for 2 and changed them 1 time for the entire stay.
- The same goes for water, tea/coffee in the room and shampoos. Water was not brought - had to catch the cleaners and ask for water. Shampoos and tea / coffee were also not reported every day

- Beach towels never changed. They are given one per person under quarantine, but there is no system for changing them
3) General condition of the hotel
- there was not enough toilet paper and paper towels in the toilets on the territory, a roll of paper for 3 cabins
- half of the sockets in the room did not work
- in the dressing room the light did not turn off, I had to look for a life hack how to do it differently
- someone left dishes near the room, they didn’t clean it for 2-3 days, until the wind broke the glass and splinters were lying on the floor, no one cleaned it
- there is a severe shortage of staff
- it became very dirty, the tables in the bar are sticky, the floor is also not the first freshness
Conclusion: the hotel was really of a decent level, but today it does not correspond to 8 points.
P. S. Pictured is a fish platter for $25, the lobster was the size of a shrimp and burnt (previously served in a fish restaurant by the sea with all the honors, now in the main restaurant during a standard dinner).
