I was at the end of July 2011 in Sharm El Sheikh, in Domina Coral Bay, Aquamarine Hotel. In principle, the food and conditions in other Domina hotels are identical, the only placement of buildings at different distances from the sea.
This is the third time in Egypt, the second time at the Domina Hotel, but this is the first time I have encountered such a vile attitude. It is not correct to compare Egypt with Turkey in terms of service, since in Turkey the service is at its best, from Egypt, first of all, you expect the sea with corals and fish. But they also decided to cut the sea, like all other services. One third of the beach was fenced off with buoys, such as from sharks, and they were allowed to swim there, swimming is prohibited on the rest of the territory. Recently, sharks have become literate and do not swim where the buoys are! Complete nonsense, it’s just that earlier lifeguards sat on several towers all over the beach and controlled each of their sections, now they save on staff, so the topic with sharks is very convenient. There is simply nowhere to pass in the sea, there are many vacationers, and there is little space for swimming. In addition, you can swim in the sea from 9 o'clock in the morning, and it is already very hot, because it is summer in Africa, when the air heats up to + 50C. The food is very bad, there is no fruit, I read in the previous review for the freshly squeezed juices provided at the hotel, how are people not ashamed to lie like that? In European hotels, fresh juices are provided for a surcharge, but here, in Domina, they are just powder "compotes". In Egypt, juices are always a problem, this is not news. But there should be fruits and vegetables, because now is the season, in Russia and Ukraine watermelons are sold at a symbolic price, in the hotel there were only melons, green pears, overripe, and periodically sour grapefruits. After several letters to the reception, where people demanded oranges, peaches, plums and apricots, grapefruits began to produce high-quality ones, even small grapes appeared, in the form of torn berries. Clusters were not put down in order to save money, so that someone would not take a lot, so the grapes were collected with a spoon on the plates. Once they even gave green bananas - just an unprecedented luxury! But - not enough for everyone, they were few. All inclusive, without food and water! (There are two bottles of water in the room at the bar, the bar is not updated and water is charged later. It is strictly forbidden to take water in a bottle in a restaurant, they send it to the store. ) With such a service, where they even save on the sea, for some reason, all vacationers felt cheated. Everyone I talked to said they would never come to Domina again. But I liked it here before, 5 years ago! But then the attitude was different! There are no remarks about the territory and the number. Write the truth in the reviews, do not deceive other people! For such a service and payment should be appropriate!
