The flight ban to Egypt prompted me to write this review as I am now feeling wildly nostalgic and longing for not being able to visit my Egyptian dacha, as I have come to call Dreams Beach and Dreams Vacation since my fourth visit this December vacation. , I leave a review about one and the other hotel, I still consider it one. Once again, I would like to say that negative reviews are born from those who, in principle, are negatively disposed towards people and the environment around them.
So, when I first visited Egypt, I got to this hotel. On the first visit, there were practically no Russian tourists, mostly British. I have never had any excesses in any country in the settlement, either I was lucky, or I am a picky person, and I never gave bribes to anyone. Settled on time, the rooms are normal, minor flaws were eliminated immediately. Cleaning daily, high quality. The staff is friendly, not pushy. On the second visit, a year after the first, they recognized me and remembered me by name, but then they waited for me, as we became friends and communicate on the Internet. The food is varied, the drinks suited me. The bars are good, mostly visited the bars in the lobby. There is a huge contrast between the two lobby bars: the official, serious, ceremonial solemn at Dreams Beach and the cheerful, drunken, hooligan, party-like at Dreams Vacation. Every day there were concerts, live music. I chose a cheerful bar for an evening pastime. Basically, young Russian tourists and perky Britons of different ages gathered there, I met some of them on subsequent visits, since I rest at the same time. The last time, in May 2015, I also met a Russian girl with whom I had already rested in a hotel, we got to know each other, it is clearly visible that both Russian and foreign tourists are returning there again, and I have a strong feeling that I as if I’m coming to a dacha or a village to visit relatives : ) For all my visits, I went on all excursions, several times during my visit I enjoy riding ATVs. It is quite pleasant to take a walk outside the hotel, there are shopping arcades and supermarkets very close by. You can easily take a taxi to the Old Town, where you can also have a good time. Sharm is a modern tourist city, despite the fact that I travel alone, I never had any concerns about getting around the city either on foot or by taxi. The hotel has a disco, and since I am a very sociable person, I did not need to visit discos in the city. Animators offer trips to discos, I have been to all of them before, so I recommend it. The only annoying moment is the lack of free Internet, but this is not a problem, since you can purchase a local SIM card for the Internet and use it successfully.
I really miss the hotel and look forward to going back there again. And again at the reception I will hear not just "welcome", but "welcome home"...
