Dreams Beach Resort - budget 5 *. Rested with my husband from 17 to 26 January 2021. For two for 10 full days they paid about $ 700, the test from Сovid-19 was included in this price.
Upon arrival, for $ 10, they settled in a renovated room on the 2nd floor in building 29 overlooking the main pool, a beautiful area in flowering bushes and mountains. Hoopoes and little egrets were seen on the green lawns. In the mornings, we often went out of the room to the sea and met the sunrises with a cup of coffee.
The room has everything you need: a hairdryer, bathrobes, 5 towels, a wide shower, gel-shampoo-soap, a kettle, coffee-tea-sugar, a bottle of water 1.5 liters daily, a free medium-sized safe, refrigerator, telephones, plasma, floor scales.
At the airport we bought an Orange 16 GB card for $10. The Wi-Fi at the reception is weak.
Diverse food (meat, poultry, seafood-fried and grilled fish), delicious soups, sweet biscuits, fruits - tangerines, oranges, melon, pomegranate, dates, guava.

In a store near the hotel, they bought strawberries for $1 and mangoes for $4 per kg. In mid-January, it's not the season for mangoes.
One main restaurant worked, sometimes there were small queues. Food was given out in portions. We had "our" table, where every lunch and dinner 2 glasses of local wine were waiting for us.
The beach is multi-level, surrounded by picturesque rocks. Descent to the sea by elevator or stairs. Lots of photo spots. The beach area is not very large, combined with beautiful views and colorful large and small fish.
Since the beach is small, the main part resembled an "anthill", where the sun loungers were close to each other, but there were always places where there were few people. We rested on the lower terrace near the grill bar, where there were 6 sun loungers in total. When they went swimming, they calmly left towels and things.
There is no sand entry, only a tiny lagoon with reef plates; I think the hotel is not for small children.
There are several pontoons, reefs and blue depth at once, several bars, 2 small heated pools, a large main one - without heating. But during the day, music played there, a water slide worked, people splashed.
At about 10-11 in the morning, the animators carried out exercises on the main beach, games, in the evening they invited them to paid discos in the city.
A spa and massage services are available on site.
We were not very lucky with the weather. Before Epiphany on January 19, there was warm, windless weather, a calm sea, and then winter began in Egypt with strong winds and cold evenings, we put on sweaters and jackets. The wind often blew in our hotel, but the water in the sea is warm because there are reefs. When there are strong waves, swimming is not comfortable, they hung out a red flag. On such days, we went to the windless bay of Ras Um El Sid, where, near the original Mince cafe and the Santorini restaurant, we rested on the beach of the Temple bar (entry $ 4 per person + $ 1 for two by taxi from the hotel).

After about 15.00, when the sun was hiding behind the rocks and mountains, and there was already a shadow on the beach and the sea, we went for a walk to the territory of the neighboring Dreams Vacation Hotel, which is now not working, fed the parrots at the local zoo.
Before dinner or after dinner, we went for a walk on Il Mercato Street, went to the Old Town by taxi ($ 2 for two) and Naama Bay ($ 3 for two), rode quads and saw off the sunset.

The hotel had an evening program every day (snake show, belly dance, peoples of the world, tanura, chose Mr. Hotel, children's animation).

According to the concept of the hotel, bracelets are cut off on the day of departure, and if they dined on the first day, then on the last - lunch only for an additional fee of $ 9 per person. Knowing this, they brought a package of cheese and sausages with them, took bread and butter, croissants in the dining room in the morning and had a wonderful lunch on the beach by the sea!

I liked the hotel with an unusual rocky coast and close proximity to the Old Town and the bay with the Farsha cafe and Santorini.
We look forward to seeing the Red Sea again, colorful reef, fish and good weather!
