We rested in this hotel in June 2021. What can I say: it was probably good in “pre-Covid times”. The main pool is large and beautiful, there are “stools” in the water right in the pool and a bar to sit on these “stools” for a reason. Next to the pool, on one side, there is a “paddling pool” for the little ones, and on the other, a deep pool. The second pool on the outskirts with a children's slide (one). The beach is quite long, although the sandy part of the beach is small. Once upon a time, several visits were made to the sea with poured sand. Now only one is left. Three pontoons, one of them is flooded (10-40 cm under water depending on the ebb/tide). Coral is 20-30% alive. A standard set of bars, a playground with swings. The only thing, as for me - greenery could be more. And then too much of the territory is covered with paving slabs, and from the remaining too much is just grass that does not give a shadow (well, this is not for everyone).
But all of the above (except for greenery) refers to “pre-Covid times”. And here is what we have now (June 2021):
Internet: Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby, and if there are more than 10 people with phones in it, then we can assume that it is not there either.

The main pool is quite clean, sometimes in the evenings it is “vacuumed” (definitely not every day). Above the “paddling pool” there was a frame from the roof, but only a frame - the awning was not stretched over it. The pool bar is closed, so you can only sit on the underwater stools. The Jacuzzi, which was fenced off in the main pool, never turned on either.
You can eat something only in the main restaurant during breakfast/lunch/dinner, well, pizza was also given near the pool from 4 to 5 pm. But from 9 am (end of breakfast) to 1 pm (beginning of lunch) it is impossible to get something edible on the hotel territory except water and beer. They also write that a “Bedouin tent” allegedly works in the evenings - they are deceiving. She does not work! Check-in takes place at 2 pm. It doesn't matter what time you arrive. We arrived at the hotel at 7 am, gave $ 20 at the reception with a request to check us in early so that there was somewhere to change clothes and go for a swim. We were settled at about 14:30 after they saw that a scandal was already brewing on our part. Changing rooms, by the way, are not provided on the territory in principle. If you want, change in the toilet. The bracelet will be put on your hand at 10 am and not a minute earlier (remember that from 9:00 to 13:00 you can get only beer from edible, and for children - water and powdered juice). At the same time, it doesn’t matter that you fly away at 5 in the morning and still don’t eat this “saved” breakfast. Beach towels are left in the room upon check-in and that's it. It is impossible to exchange them during the rest (well, you can of course try to write an application at the reception for their replacement, but we did not try). If you want - dry it yourself, if you want - wash it yourself, the hotel saves and it will be your problems, but “the problems of the Sheriff’s Indians are not....they care” At the same time, some wild fines are prescribed for the loss of a towel, as well as a room key and a bracelet like $ 50 (I don’t remember the exact amount), but I myself saw a slowly sinking unbuttoned bracelet in the sea near the reef (I even wanted to get it, but didn’t dive). That is, losing the bracelet can be quite easy.
Half of the beach, the one with the long flooded pontoon, is closed. I sailed along the reef to this pontoon, its last meter was broken (apparently by a storm), the hotel saves and does not repair, it's easier to close half of the beach. And it doesn't matter that there are more people who want to sunbathe on the beach than the remaining piece fits: the problems of the Indian... you know. They could only close the pontoon, but no, they closed the floor of the beach, and a beautiful staircase with sculptures that leads to it.
The kids club is closed (the official version is covid, not allowed). But on its territory there is a broken rocker. They could have repaired it so that the children had a place to ride, even under the supervision of their parents without animation, but the hotel saves (remember) and, accordingly, this is the problem of the Indians, how to entertain your children.

Number. The rooms were built in precovid times so they are not small. Not huge, but not small either. Plumbing ushatana moderately, TV on the wall, small refrigerator (working), free safe. The air conditioning, as usual, does not work, probably because it is impossible for everything to be good. After a complaint to the reception, two “masters” came, looked, and said: “what do you want? Everything works! " I answered them: it blows warm air! Even in the middle of the night, when it's a little cooler outside, the air conditioner blows warm air! Well, they understood everything, said: “OK, in half an hour everything will be fine” and left. Air conditioning, of course, did not work until the end of the holiday.
Rooms are cleaned “on demand” or at the request of the cleaner (or on an unknown schedule). This is, in principle, spelled out in the conditions of residence. Everything would be fine, because at home we don’t change towels every day either, but as always, nuances come out. For example, out of four of us, there were three girls with long hair. Shampoo they spend (even at home), liters. Naturally, the left tube of shampoo went away in a day, and then... Indian problems... (it's good that it was predictable and took a bottle from home).
Animation. "Unobtrusive". There is only near the main pool and only for adults: dancing / yoga / fitness near the pool and in it, darts, invite to water polo and water volleyball, but do not bother. You can play table tennis yourself, and if you want it in a big one (everything is in the sun). There were bocce balls on the beach, but for some reason only 7 instead of 8, and two bocce balls are located just above the beach and had an abandoned look, for the whole vacation I never saw anyone playing it. For children from entertainment only minidisco in the evenings.
Food: a separate song. In principle, if you are not picky about food, then you will not die of hunger, you can even get a little better. But if there are any requirements for food, don’t even think about going to this hotel. Food is available at the main “restaurant” and for lunch at the “grill restaurant” on the beach and pizza and cola from 4 to 5 days by the pool. But the problem is that the hotel saves money and the chefs don't know how to cook. (I'm not kidding). Every day for lunch and dinner there is chicken and some kind of meat (beef / veal / lamb) or kebab (such a cutlet), and in the morning only sausages. Meat is either overcooked or undercooked. For 10 days I received a normal piece of meat only 2 times. Chicken - how lucky a third is normal, a third is overdried, a third is raw. The kebabs were just delicious. Cucumbers and tomatoes can also be cut normally. Once they made pigeons in rice - I wanted to cry so I felt sorry for the birds: they dried them “for chips” it was not tasty, it was just “feel sorry for the bird”. Cheeses are generally tasteless (apparently - which ones are cheaper). Every day there was a “standard fish”, we sold this as a “catfish fillet” - a fatty semi-jelly fillet reeking of mud. Out of all my friends, she's the only one I like. Two days later, on the third, normal fish was fried, also dried out. Diet food is not provided, from the children's menu - milk porridge for breakfast and that's it. There were always three kinds of fruit: there were always dates and sliced oranges, and every day there were either watermelons or grapes or melons. It's all variety. The baker who makes desserts seems to be from pre-Covid times. Desserts were varied and plentiful.

But the quality of the food is not the most annoying, the most annoying was the way it was obtained: you can’t take it yourself, because covid. And there are few “waiters” who serve food (remember that the hotel saves on everything) and for each dish you need to stand in line like to a mausoleum. In total, to have dinner for two adults and two children, you first need to stand in lines for 20 minutes! This, you know, is very uplifting! Plus, one gets the impression that the chefs are paid with saved food - everyone tries to put a smaller portion, and if you ask for more, they look disapprovingly and stop understanding you in both Russian and English. But they like to chat with the Arabs: the queue is waiting, and they are discussing something.
Another feature: there is no ketchup in any form in the grill bar! There is only some kind of white sauce that I did not like.
After the end of dinner (21:00), the wine is not poured. Vodka - please, beer - as much as you like, but wine - not a single thing! By the way - they have more or less beer, not the best, of course, but you can put up with it.
My wife and I love coffee (it just so happened). The hotel poured free instant, which did not like. For $2 you can get coffee from a coffee machine. We tried it and decided that ground coffee poured in a cup of boiling water would be just as good. Moreover, you can drink it on the terrace right next to the room, so cozy!... How naive we were! The hotel took care of this as well: there are no reusable cups / glasses in the room (probably covid), and disposable cups are added only at the time of cleaning (here it is - cleaning according to an unknown schedule). In the room for 4 people put 2 cups! Yes, they are given without any problems in a restaurant, but not a lot: 2 pieces at a time, and if you ask for more, they look disapprovingly (and remember about the queues). But that's not the point. Mosquitoes are waiting for you near the room! They really fly around there. Near the building with the reception and the main restaurant, there are practically no mosquitoes, and near the rooms and in the “Bedouin tent” (this is a place with tables and benches covered with rugs in the open), mosquitoes fly in a cloud. They are small and biting! While you are walking, they do not touch you, but as soon as you sit down, they begin to attack with the whole cloud! As a result, you can not sit near the room in the evening! It is also impossible to open the door and let fresh air into the room - then you will have to sleep with mosquitoes! (and remember the air conditioner). That's how much I rode the seas before - nowhere was this. Unless we have, and our hotel owners have always provided fumigators or fuming repellers. In general, this little cosiness did not work out either.

Well, the icing on the cake. Eviction:
It takes about 20 minutes from the hotel to the airport. Our flight was at 5 am. 40 people flew out of the hotel on this flight. The bus was set at 1:10. We all could not understand why so early. It was possible to put it 40 minutes later, give people an extra half hour to sleep....In general, two buses arrived, one half full, the other empty. They seated people, checked by last name, everything is there, everything is fine. We stand, we wait. Why we are waiting, no one knows. After 10 minutes, the guide enters the bus and says: “Mrs. Ivanova, at the reception they ask where are the towels from your room? Go deal with them! ” This girl came out, after 5 minutes she returned (she went without luggage and obviously did not return to the room), she says: “We found it already . . yat! ” In general, the buses did not let out of the hotel for 25 minutes, they obviously checked all the rooms! I still understand to detain my clients for this (well, yes, it's a shame, but you can understand), but what are the people who arrived on the bus from other hotels to blame?
Conclusion: I would not advise to go to this hotel. There was (is) potential in it, but the current level of service / attitude towards customers reduces all the pleasure from the rest to nothing! The administration made sure that the clients were not comfortable in any situation throughout their stay. Personally, this vacation completely discouraged me from going to Egypt at any time.
