We were in Egypt for the first time, we chose the Dreams Beach hotel - it was among the relatively inexpensive ones from Pegasus (2300 rubles per person per day). Settled immediately, however, in a room with two single beds. Immediately asked for one double room. We hoped that they would either give us another room, or at least put the beds together and put a double mattress. But they just moved the beds, which then moved apart! The condition of the rooms showed that the hotel was not new, but the plumbing worked properly, every day the room was cleaned, only once the towels were brought in the evening.
The territory is huge, on the first day we got lost and for about an hour we were looking for at least someone who would help us find our building. The signs didn't give us the information we needed. We found one Arab type of guard, he told us in broken English to go straight. And in the end we found our own way.
The food was ok, a bit lacking in variety, but we didn't go hungry. They gave watermelons, apples, dates (by the way, they liked it very much! ), oranges, pomelo, ice cream. The water from the cooler is disgusting, they did not take it. Saved by tea and coffee with milk. According to the all-inclusive system, we ordered dinner at the Grill House and Pergola. In the Grill House, the grilled chicken was very tasty and the service was good, and in Pergola they waited a long time for a fish dinner, as a result they gave pangasius, which we were already quite tired of in the main restaurant. We left without waiting for dessert.

We were in Egypt for the first time, so we were certainly impressed by the Red Sea: beautiful corals, many bright fish, warm and clear water. I liked the beach, however, there were not always enough sunbeds, but this did not bother us, we left things under a palm tree and went for a swim, because we came to Egypt for the sake of the sea! The sun burned mercilessly, at the end of June in the shade 40-43, if not more, the water was 30 degrees. By the evening (about five o'clock), the sunbeds were released, and the beach was in the shade.
About souvenir shops on site. First we went to one store, began to choose. It immediately seemed to me that $ 2-3 for a magnet is expensive, okay, maybe we can bargain. They chose, asked me to throw off at least $ 5, but the seller laughed in my face, like I said such utter nonsense! He said that he would throw off a maximum of a dollar on all the goods that we chose. Of course, I knew that I had no talent for bargaining, but it was so unpleasant that we did not buy anything and left. We went to a nearby store, it turned out that everything is much cheaper there, the same magnets are there for $1. And the seller was a pleasant sociable person, he showed and told everything, in the end we bought from him, so he also made a discount himself.
In principle, the rest was not bad, for the first time everything was interesting to us. The big plus was the Red Sea! But we came to the conclusion that we will no longer go to Egypt, at least in the next five years.
When we left, the reception did not smile at us, did not wish us a good road, did not invite us to come back to their hotel. They just took the key and said "okay". Or maybe I want too much from a five-star hotel?
