Chose IL Mercato for the price, it was the most affordable 5 star hotel. We understood that this city-type hotel had a transfer to the sea. But when checking in at the reception, they demanded money for improving the room, it could not do without it. The room was not exactly clean, but cleanliness is a problem throughout Egypt as far as I know. The bathroom and refrigerator were not very clean. When leaving the room, the tables and chairs standing next to each other had not been washed for a long time. But the hotel corresponds to the price / quality. We practically did not use animation, but to be honest, it is very weak. The food was decent, everything was ok. But in terms of cleanliness, it was like that everywhere, not only in the room. There are 4 swimming pools on the territory, 2 of them are heated. The hotel has 2 beaches: sandy and coral, to which tourists were taken by a transfer. But most of all we did not like the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel, it is practically non-existent here. But most of all I liked the sea. The Red Sea is the Red Sea. Beautiful coral reef, lots of fish and really something to see. So, a budget hotel, rather 4, but worth the money. Very good location - near Naama, old town. The sandy beach makes it possible to go around the entire coast and swim freely where tourists are brought on yachts for money. We liked everything, I would recommend this hotel.
