Disclamer: You are going to an ultra-budget hotel for $160-180 per person per week. If you want Baron-level service, go to Baron.

We returned yesterday from Cyrene Island Hotel. This is not the first time in Egypt, I visited different parts of Sharm El Sheikh, so there is something to compare with. Without aristocratic oversights, as vacationers from Rixos and Savoy like here : )

In order.

Check-in: Arrived at 8 am, settled immediately. If you are not the first time in Egypt, you understand that it is better to put $ 10 in foreign money when you move in. This will save you trouble in the future. Settled in a room near the pool, which is closer to the sea. Acquaintances settled in a room near the road, where the entrance to the hotel. $10 solved this problem. Many are accommodated in rooms above the reception and next to it.

Territory: Good, well-groomed. It can be seen that she is being watched, watered, etc. The hotel can be said to be divided into three parts. The first one is adjacent to the standard reception. The second - is on the left, if you look at the sea.
There is some kind of abandoned reception, a ship and many, many rooms in which ours and Arabs live. There is an amphitheater on the same territory, but mostly Arabs sing there. The third is a beach complex on the seashore, one might say a piece of the first line. There is a non-working restaurant, beach, bar. Everything is standard, without frills, but also without any critical moments for such a price. The pools are cold, maximum savings : )

Rooms: Standard room, furniture is normal, not killed. The bathroom has its shoals, but nothing lethal. The only negative for us is 2 single beds that are placed together. Too lazy to ask to change the bed to king size. I wish there was a kettle in the room, but you can live without it. I advise you not to settle in the rooms to the left of the pool, you can hear the music from the disco bar very well, and it plays loudly until 12 at night.
Service: Jewish hotel, budget in everything : ) Drinks are poured into tiny cups, you have to take 3-4 cups to drink water. People drink 20 glasses of beer, you can understand them. I'm used to large plastic/glass glasses in other hotels. The bartender on the beach is still the same redneck and is always dissatisfied with everything. There is no information for tourists at all. You will not be given a printout with a map of the hotel or the schedule of restaurants and bars, everyone has to find out for themselves. The bar on the beach opens at 10:30-11:00, relax without drinks, your problems (c) Barman : )

Meals: Standard Egyptian food for low budget hotels. Different types of rice, pasta, potatoes, roasts, chicken, fish, soups, scrambled eggs, falafel. From fruits in April - dates, bananas, oranges. Once they gave physalis, delicious. In one of the dinners there was a distribution of sliced melons, guava, orange, peaches. That's where our people showed themselves in all their glory, but more on that later.

In the evening there was a grill a couple of times - chicken, beef "sausages". In the same place, they sometimes made delicious deep-fried donuts-balls and dipped them in sugar syrup. Too bad there were no pancakes for breakfast. In general, a very standard set of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want something tastier and more varied, add $50-100 to the ticket per person.
Breakfast 7:30, lunch 13:00, dinner 18:30.

Beach: Ras Nazran will not please coral and fish lovers at all, this is a dead part of the coast of Sharm. For myself, the best option is the Hadaba area, good hotels and a wonderful reef with short pontoons. But there are some advantages, namely, an almost completely sandy bottom, you can do without coral slippers if you do not go from the shore. At the beginning of the holiday there was a wind, but the sea is very warm (the pools are icy). There are no hedgehogs on the beach, only in coral caves.

Entertainment: Animation, as such, no. There is a mini disco-bar, there is also a hookah (hookah $ 3).
The whole movement starts at 21:00, there is an animator, sometimes he holds contests. Basically, it’s just a club there, first the children dance and then splurge under Hands Up.

Vacationers: I see this for the first time in 10 years in Egypt : ) Perhaps this is due to the fact that the hotel is super cheap. 80% of vacationers from Ukraine - sorry, Selyuks from villages and urban settlements. Constantly turn on rural rap under the windows, neigh, thump. At one of the dinners, they were handing out slices of melon, guava, orange, peaches - a stampede began, people stole plates of fruit from each other. Women and men brazenly approached and took whole melons, guava and just left. The poor waiter asked them to put everything back, but in vain. On the beach, constant thumping under loud conversations. The rest from Kyiv, Kharkov, Odessa are calm and friendly.

Bonus information: Near the beach, to the right of the pontoon, there are "garbage bins", but this is not garbage and a good Arab Misha trades there with good prices.

Coral slippers 2$, 6 good magnets 1$, cover for underwater shooting 1$, you can find almost everything and even something to order. There is a strawberry for $ 1, brings it in the morning, but I advise you to take it in the store. Selyuks love to steal from Misha, if you notice - wring your hands. Opposite the hotel there is a Bacchus store, a regular combi with fixed prices. Good prices for panthenol, sun cream, groceries, etc. The hotel prices space. You can take excursions from Ahmed on the beach or from Vova Beard tours near the Bacchus shop (leave the hotel and stomp to the left about 100 meters). The guide, as usual, hangs noodles on his ears, nothing new.
