The hotel is good!! ! negative reviews are rather the result of a bad attitude of tourists towards specific hotel employees !!!
Dear tourists who write negative about hotels and staff, my modest experience of traveling to Egypt tells me that there are no bad hotels, there are bad tourists. With what mood you go - you will get such an impression, and therefore I can offer some kind of tourist memo in Egypt, remembering which you can easily, actively, interestingly spend time and then not pout at the staff, who, in general, is not to blame for anything : )
1. Coming to Egypt, remember - you are in a Muslim country!! ! This means that many norms of our "democratic" behavior must become much tougher.
2. Egypt is a poor country, 100 dollars is an average salary, so a 1 dollar tip left ahead of time (and not for a specific job done, although this is already better than rudeness towards the staff) will help mutual understanding between you and ordinary hotel employees (cleaners rooms, waiters)

3. In Egypt, there was a war recently (who does not know - for the very Sinai Peninsula on which Sharm is located) - the police behave extremely harshly, so any attempt to break the law can end in failure. Therefore, all excursions - only from the operator who brought you!! ! No excursions purchased in the city!!!
4. In Egypt, it is not recommended to be rude (rudeness in a Muslim country is contrary to religious beliefs). Of course, none of the staff will answer you directly (forbidden), but they will definitely do harm. Therefore, in order not to get into trouble (you yourself know where it is) - we smile at the staff and ask them in a friendly way to help (and of course - +1 dollar).
5. Food (nutrition). Remember - in all hotels the food is adapted for us. You don't need to eat real Egyptian food, as you will at least get an upset stomach
6. Cairo is a separate issue. The best option is a bus from Tesstur. $75 per person, check out at 1 am and check in at 1 am. Everything is cultural, albeit somewhat tedious. I don't recommend flying. Too extreme.
7. The sea - they write almost everywhere - do not feed the fish, if you really want to, then only in the depths of the reef and not far from the coast, otherwise it will come up that the hotel staff will not help, the sea is still.
8. Climate (who does not know). In summer it is very hot and dry. In winter it is cooler, but windy and again dry. You don't need to pout into the wind - it's always like that. This climate is not for everyone.
9. Check-in and check-out - remember that all hotels have a European check-in / check-out system, which implies the following: check-in at 14-00, check-out at 12-00, tourists will ask all problems with the room and questions during check-in, and not after three day.
10. And most importantly - go only with a large, proven operator (an operator, not an agent, anyone can be an agent).
Have a nice and easy vacation!! !
