We rested at the hotel from 8.06 to 19.06 together with my daughter 7 years old. Before leaving, we read the negative and were ready for anything. Many times were in Hurghada and Turkey in hotels of different levels, in SHES for the first time. Tour operator TEZ TOUR, flight by Windrose airline from Boryspil. Everything is clear - departure to the minute, meeting, transfer to the hotel, assistance with settling. To TO no remarks. We arrived in the evening, so check-in took about 5 minutes, put on bracelets and escorted to the room.
They settled in the 5th building, No. 5005. We asked at 4, they said that everything was taken. The room is good, spacious, on the first floor. Everything is standard: a large shower, everything is comfortable, a terrace with access to the amphitheater, two single beds, an armchair, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a safe, a kettle with dishes, tea, coffee, sugar, a mini-bar, a TV set, air conditioning. The furniture is not new, but everything is whole and well-groomed, plumbing is in excellent condition. When checking in, 2 problems arose: a surprise in the form of a closed safe (I will never understand why to do this) and the sound of a mini-bar, reminiscent of the monotonous snoring of a drunken sailor (something periodically gurgled and shimmered with a terrible roar). We called the reception twice - immediately in the evening and the next morning, but until we went there in person at lunchtime, no one did anything. As a result, the safe was opened 15 minutes after our visit, and the mini-bar was replaced while we were on the beach, in the evening. Our cleaner was the sweetest, cleaned well, changed towels, brought water. Leave a day for a dollar. Came to say goodbye as we were leaving.
The hotel is located on a hill and descends to the sea on three levels. The topmost is the reception, a new water park and building 6 (the farthest from the sea), buildings 5 and 7, two large pools, a couple of small ones, an amphitheater. The middle tier (there are steps or a gentle slope) - building 4, a playground, a mini-club, a stage, a bar by the fountain and a food court (more on that below). Then the lower tier (more steps, steeper slope) - all the other buildings, villas with separate pools, slides for adults and children, the main pool and a smaller couple, a pool bar, an animation area and the beach itself and the pontoon. The territory is large, but well-planned. Which building is best to stay in? I don't know. You live closer to the sea - to go to the restaurant and evening entertainment, to the exit and the water park is generally far away. You live near the reception - you have to go down to the sea. Those. in principle, you have to walk anyway, but it's not bad at all. The only thing is, if you are with a stroller or have mobility problems, then this may not be your hotel option.

Dining at the hotel is concentrated in one building called the Food Court. Two floors of restaurants, with the main one on the second floor. On the ground floor there is an open-type snack bar and a la carte, a conference hall and shops. You can eat all day, there is enough food, although not everything is tasty. For breakfast, the usual set: omelettes, sausages (dark edible, light - no), tomatoes with cheese, eggs, yogurt, vegetables, mountains of pastries, waffles, croissants, donuts, fruit salad, melon, oranges, apples, dates. Between breakfast and lunch, a snack at the bottom - buns, vegetables, sausage, cheese, fruits, tea, coffee, drinks. Lunch at the main restaurant: two types of soups (delicious), rice, potatoes, pasta, fish in sauce, meat, vegetables, mountains of cakes, something on the grill (chicken, fish or liver), fruit, the chef will cut a salad from what do you say, the other seasons the pasta (not tasty). Lunch downstairs: burgers, hot dogs, pizza (not tasty), pasta, vegetables, shawarma, fish in breadcrumbs, fries, donuts, pancakes, ice cream and popcorn, fruit, pastries. Dinner at the main restaurant: three or four types of grill (something in a pan, fish or chicken on the grill, shawarma and meat or sliced tuna), then a standard set plus watermelon in unlimited quantities, sweets in glass vases, there were peaches. You definitely won't go hungry, you can pick up something to your liking. Dishes are clean and whole. The main restaurant is large, cleaned promptly, covered at the first hint. However, it is better to come for lunch and dinner either at the beginning, or after 40-50 minutes, so that you do not have to wind circles in search of a place. There are few places below, it is not so easy to sit down there. This is where free Wi-Fi catches, so many people come there for it, and not for food - hence the problem with places. We bought a 3GB SIM for $3 at the airport (we always do this), so we didn’t participate in the pursuit of Wi-Fi. It is forbidden to take out food, a formidable uncle is watching at the exit. If he left, please. There are no juices, only the powder in the water is loose, the tea is normal, the coffee is disgusting, cola, fanta, sprite from the machine and from bottles (you know what ice is from which water, it’s better not to take it). I don't drink alcohol, but I saw people drinking and they didn't complain. The quality of food is not perfect, it is better not to eat questionable. On the third day, I either got poisoned, or some kind of infection, I couldn’t get up in the morning - it’s dark in my eyes, my stomach hurts terribly, it hurts. Medicines “from the suitcase” did not give any result, we went to the pharmacy to the left of the exit from the hotel, bought pills for $ 15, drank in the evening - in the morning I was born. The child, thank God, the whole vacation without problems and without medication.
The beach is huge, always almost empty, you need slippers (you can buy at the hotel for $ 4). The sea is clean, fish dart under the feet near the shore. There is a tide and a storm, then it is comfortable to swim from the shore. When the tide is out, then from the pier. You can watch the fish directly from the pontoon or swim with a mask - the reef is normal, there are many different fish. We went on an excursion on a bathyscaphe, then we had even more varieties of fish near the hotel than they showed us there. Sun loungers are old, but whole, there are umbrellas, fences too. But! Not dirty, but not clean, the beach is slightly run down. And there is no bar on the beach. If you want to drink, go to the bar by the main pool, and this is a decent piece of the road. Not convenient. Many occupied sunbeds by the pool, and went to the beach only to take a dip, maybe that's why there were very few people there, I don't know.
There are many pools. The sunbeds are new, not enough umbrellas. When the hotel was completely filled, there were not enough sunbeds, but only because most were engaged from the very morning and so on until the evening and were empty. Why do it? It's not clear... Many people write in reviews about the theft of towels. Guys, you rent sunbeds throughout the hotel, then you yourself forget where your towels are. I have never seen or heard of anyone being stolen. On the contrary, acquaintances forgot their phone on the sunbed by the pool, remembered only in the evening, they came, and he still lies on the same sunbed. There are many water slides. Closer to the sea are three adults and three children, and at the reception there is a new water park - a standard one for kids with a bucket that periodically splashes out, and an adult on 5 slides (one of them is something like a kamikaze). Slides are cool, everyone rode with pleasure. The water park has a bar with drinks and a modest lunchtime snack.
The animation is not impressive. For the first time, my daughter did not go to the club and left in the middle of the mini disco. The club could not stand the competition with slides, and the disco was just sucks - dancing is class, but not enough, 2-3 songs, and the rest of the time it's a boring game with a long preparation. By the pool, a lot of animators made circles all day, chatted with tourists, sometimes they were distracted for a couple of minutes to do exercises, play darts, belly dance. Yoga was announced, but it never happened. My daughter does gymnastics, so she always goes to yoga in hotels, and then it turned out to be a bummer. Evening shows are mediocre, I liked it better when the violinist came. Aunt singing live is in vain. Mr. Rehana, Miss Rehana and a couple of the hotel are the favorite shows of the animators, because tipsy tourists entertain the public better than any artist.

The hotel has a gym (many good quality exercise machines), a spa with massages, a sauna and a beauty salon specializing in braids. Only the most persistent ones are not braided in Rehan, the price of braids floats between 15-70 dollars, depending on the complexity of execution, the use or absence of threads, the length and thickness of the hair, as well as your ability to bargain. They braided my daughter for $ 40, an hour and a half in time. Expensive, but very comfortable, for the third week we have no problems with a haircut. They promised that a month passes, we'll see. The playground is one of the big minuses of the hotel. It's just tiny for so many children - three swings for older kids and two for toddlers, some kind of booth to climb, and that's it. In the evenings there was a flea market and constant fights over the swings.
The contingent of the hotel is a lot of Kazakhs, Ukrainians, a little less Belarusians and Poles. On June 15, Ramadan ended and a lot of Arabs arrived, it was then that the problem with places in the restaurant and near the pools began, it became very crowded and a little noisy in the evenings. When we arrived, the hotel even seemed a bit deserted, in the evening you would not meet anyone below the Food Court.
Of the excursions, we had a trip to the bathyscaphe, dolphinarium, overview of Sharm and Soho Square. The last two are a gift from TO. The bathyscaphe is cool, you can go once. Dolphinarium is just super, we advise everyone, especially with children. The Dolphinarium is very close to the hotel. A sightseeing tour of Sharm is a waste of time, they won’t show anything, they just take you to shops, and not cheap ones. Soho Square is beautiful, there is where to take pictures, many shops, prices are different, bargain. We also went to Hollywood Park ourselves. Minibus as agreed, but not more than $ 1 for two (in general, the price is $ 1 for three), drive for 15-20 minutes, entrance to the park is $ 4 for an adult, children are free. There is an area with interactive dinosaurs, a tiger, elephants, they growl, waving their tails, ears, heads, though not all, but it is interesting to walk and a little creepy. There is a musical fountain, a couple of shops with good prices and pleasant sellers. It's beautiful, you can go, it's better than evening parties at the hotel.
Another interesting point is that during eviction, adults and children over 12 years old are cut off their bracelets, in our practice this, I confess, is the first time. Whether we were lucky, or this hotel is economical - I will not say. As a result, you can only dine at fast food, although drinks and alcohol are poured without problems. We had a bus to the airport at 15.00, so it didn’t bother us, and if you sit until the evening, it’s a bit not cool, it seems to me.

The overall impression of the hotel is good. I didn’t want to pack my things and leave, but I can come again. True, my daughter and I have a rule - we do not go twice to the same place. Sharm impressed more than Hurghada, we will definitely come again. And Rehana is a good hotel in its price tag. Yes, not 5, but a solid 4 for sure. With children in general super, I advise.
Have a good rest and pleasant impressions!
