We chose a hotel for a holiday with a child for a long time, we wanted not a desert with sticks sticking out, but greenery and a little shade with oxygen. We settled on Rehane 5 *, according to reviews of tour operators and on the Internet, an ideal option.
The flight was postponed because the plane was delayed en route. Not a very pleasant start to the holiday, but we expected this, knowing the latest Join Up jokes. We arrived late, although the pilot could make up for the lost time on the way, but as I understand it, the Egyptians are not very punctual and the assembled people were convinced of this upon arrival at the hotel. We arrived around 19:30, settled us somewhere in 20-30 minutes. They offered us the best room for an additional fee without starting a conversation, but we refused because we didn’t come to sit in the room, but to relax.
1. They settled us in building 4 on the 2nd floor opposite the main restaurant. Although many details need to be restored and replaced (the sofa and chair were badly worn and some stains, the water did not drain well in the shower and the shower set (massage compartment) was covered in black mold. We tried not to use it, there was enough large and small watering cans shower) the room is spacious with one double bed and 1 half bed, there is a sofa, a table, an armchair, a kettle.

Room cleaning as such - NO! At most they will make a bed and on the first day they will make a heart.
2. Territory
The territory of the hotel is beautiful, green and blooming!! ! Lots of pools and slides for kids aged 2-10 as well as adults. This is a big +. But also a huge "-" because they are practically never removed! During the whole vacation I saw one boy who walked with a net during the day and caught leaves from the children's pool with water fungus, as for cleaning the bottom, it is NOT AT ALL in any pool! As for disinfection, it's generally a circus!! ! Chlorine is diluted by eye in a bucket and simply poured into the edge of the pool. I give an example for the general picture: my child has a piece swimsuit New (excellent and not cheap quality) shed during the first bath so that it looked more like a robe stained with paint. They wanted to throw it away, but decided not to spoil the other swimsuit and leave it only for slides, and here's a miracle . . after a whole day of swimming in a small pool with a bunch of chemicals and bleach, it's like new again, but not so bright anymore. But the allergy is still all over the body!
3. Nutrition....NO WORDS!!!
The same throughout the week for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
The food is not for children so for sure, if an adult can get by, then for a child this is a problem! We saved ourselves with rice with stew or chicken if it was, shawarma 2 times, noodles and french fries with fried fish and salads, but you won’t last long on this. Gastritis guaranteed!!!
Of course, there was a liver of unknown origin and undercooked, eggplant, zucchini a couple of times, cheese, unleavened pancakes, yogurt, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, there was a soup - like a vegetable very salty and peppery (potatoes, carrots and incomprehensible cereals similar to melon seeds), but when your stomach grabs and you will be happy with this!
- From greens: cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage.

- From fruits: everything is cut into pieces orange-no taste, apple, green peach, dates, melon and watermelon alternated every other day and were given out in 5 small pieces. If you ask for more explaining that a family of 3 people, they start yelling and indignant.
- There were a lot of sweets and pastries!
Cleaning the dining room during meals for me personally - it was a SHOCK!
I'm not a squeamish person, but even for me it was FUUU.
Instead of sweeping crumbs and food leftovers from the table onto a plate and setting the table again, they swept everything to the floor, i. e. you eat surrounded by someone else's leftovers. The glasses are always dirty and stink! The air conditioning in the dining room does not work or they save on it!
4. Staff:
I don’t want to speak for everyone and I won’t, people are different. I want to highlight just a few - this is the guide Muhamed Kordi, the only one from their entire company who spoke at least a little about their history and traditions, answered all questions and happily communicated with the group for which he was responsible during the excursions. Boys handing out towels, cooks in the dining room and security on the beach. Very pleasant and friendly!
5. Sea.
The sea is very warm and beautiful, the family is delighted!
If you are going to rest, choose another country, if you are interested in the underwater world, then welcome! Diving is very interesting and exciting.
We were not very lucky with just swimming in the sea on the territory of the hotel, because on the 3rd day a storm began, we swam a little in the sea : ( the red flag is not allowed from the pier! The yellow flag from about 13:30 to 17:30 you can swim, for a child up to 12 years old they asked for a receipt that you have no complaints that the child is going to the sea with you (this applies to the pier) Near the shore there are 2 small sand and pebble entrances to the sea, you can just lie in the water. sea away.
6. Animation for children and adults.

- For children: I would say that it is not there because 1 crazy frog dance, a soku-soku game and a cola-fanta-sprite game, where children just squat or run in a circle, and then find out who came from where for 30 minutes -BORING!! ! It seems that the girl was resting and decided to try herself as an animator.
-For adults: Except for darts Didn't notice!
1 time they invited a team of dancers, they twisted their skirts, and then it was at lunchtime in front of the entrance to the main restaurant.
7. WiFi-paid, costs $ 10 for 7 days - this is immediately said at the reception. Free catches in the building of the main restaurant on the 1st floor where there is a bar with snacks. But! if 30 people are sitting, the signal is bad, it will only be enough to send SMS in Viber or chat.
8. Take interesting excursions, you will not regret it.
-I do not advise only Soho, a waste of time and money. Yes, there are beautiful sculptures from the garlands at the entrance, the children like it, but there is nothing to do there... They promise ice cream, hookah, bowling, an ice rink, drinks (water, cola, sprite). As a result, the street size is max 500-1000m. a bunch of Arabs and tourists who run around in the flea market in groups to find where to exchange this ticket. Ice cream the size of a tablespoon, ice hol-ice has not been put in order since the opening day, the size of the rink is about 100m. and there you need to take a queue right away. A similar situation with bowling, the queue is unreal. Drinks: water-0.5l, sprite, cola, fanta to choose from-0.33l, if you're lucky 0.5l.
9. Vacationers: Ukrainians, Kazakhs, Belarusians, Poles and a huge number of Egyptians.
In general, the result is this: The hotel is beautiful, but I would not return and would not recommend a holiday with children!
