A few days ago we returned from Rehana.
After reading a bunch of negative reviews, I went to this hotel with peace of mind. Because usually they are written by people who paid relatively little for a ticket, and requests have a hoo-hoo. I don’t want to offend anyone, but if you are going to a 5 * hotel in a price segment below the average, then expecting everything to be at the highest level, in my opinion, is stupid.
This is not my first trip to Egypt as well. I consider myself not a picky tourist, so I want to believe that my review will be objective.
What I want to note. The hotel does not correspond to 5 * on the trail. reasons:

1. Disgusting room cleaning. Usually they always left a tip for the cleaners, but the Arabs have become impudent and do not want to do anything without $. Russian tourists taught them so that they get tea not after high-quality cleaning of the room, but before. This is wrong. Imagine that you come to a restaurant and give the waiter a tip right away so that your table is served quickly.
2. Terrible towels (washed, threads sticking out from all sides, poorly washed, often stained and constantly wet).
3. Dirty tables in the main restaurant. In order to sit down at a clean table, one had to come to the very beginning of breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you arrive an hour later, then you will wait until your table is "cleaned up" - they brush the crumbs on the floor with your hand and put the cutlery, and then wait until they bring you napkins or they don't.
4. The constant lack of glasses at the bars despite the fact that the hotel is not 100% full of tourists.
As for the territory, it is VERY beautiful, clean and well-groomed.
Meals for 4. You won't stay hungry, but it happened that you walked in a circle with an empty plate and there was nothing to take. It was nice to have ice cream for lunch. There is also popcorn and cotton candy.
I was surprised by the flourishing racism in the hotel. For foreigners, new dry towels are always put aside and sunbeds are booked on the main pool.
Service is normal. If you smile at the staff, they will definitely smile back at you. I often observed at the bars a cattle market from Russian and Ukrainian tourists in relation to the staff. And it became unpleasant for their own people (((
The sea is constantly stormy, there was never a calm for a week. And this is the main disadvantage of the hotel - its location. Those. its beach is not in a bay, but closer to the open sea. The wind is constantly blowing, but it is more pleasant to sunbathe. A red flag hung 4 times - this means that swimming is prohibited. The reef is beautiful.
Conclusion: the hotel is a little short of its price category, up to 5 * too.
If you are going abroad for the first time, then you will 100% like this hotel and you will think that people who are unhappy with something just got drunk. Actually it is not. There is just something to compare.
Have a nice holiday
